It is absolutely forbidden for unauthorized personnel to perform any operation whatsoever.
Never bypass the protective devices, which are designed to protect the safety of the user.
Routine and special maintenance tasks must be performed while the product is not operating and without power
supplied to the system. Any repairs of the electrical systems must be carried out with the power off.
Do not put hands or other foreign objects on moving parts, let alone liquid containers near the electrical parts.
The user must avoid unsafe operations on the product that could compromise its balance. It is strictly prohibited to
remove or disengage the safety devices.
1.4 CONNECTIONS
The main electrical supply should be adequate to withstand the maximum power consumption of the machine, as
indicated.
The electrical connection includes the introduction of the plug of the connection cable/s of the supplied transformer/s
into two 10 A power supply outlets (depending upon the electrical system in use ) located as close as possible to the
area of installation of the product.
1.5 EARTHING SYSTEM
The earthing and short circuit of the metal structures the product consists of is ensured through the power supply
through the low voltage transformer (the current flows toward the earthing lead-in wire of the user’s electrical
system). The earthing connection must be also be performed for the low-voltage systems which are located in areas
that are usually wet and very humid (if the voltage exceeds 25 V to earth for alternate current and 50 V towards earth
for direct current).

1.6 DIAGRAM OF THE RISKY AREAS

1.9 SAFETY WARNINGS FOR THE USER
ATTENTION
- Before operating the MagniSmartech ©systems in the purchased version, we suggest removing the packages
from the areas where the system is to be installed in order to prevent any potential risks for children.
- Children or animals must not play or stay in close proximity to the moving parts of the bed.
- In order to prevent potential hazards from the mechanical moving parts, the children cannot use the system without
the supervision of an adult.

The most important part of the safety warning is to prevent damage to people and/or things.
- Use the motorized slatted bedframe provided with the “MagniSmartech ©Motor” and “MagniSmartech” versions
only if in a good state and only by trained personnel.
- In case of extended use of the motorized slatted bedframe supplied with the “MagniSmartech ©Motor” and
“MagniSmartech” versions, after a certain period of time (we recommend at least once a year), we recommend
performing an in-depth check to verify its functionality and no visible damage.
- Do not connect multiple outlets underneath the motorized slatted bedframe provided with the “MagniSmartech
©Motor” and “MagniSmartech” versions.
- In case of adjustments, make sure that there are no hindrances such as furniture or ceiling inclines.
- In case of use of external electrical components, such as - for instance - reading lights, make sure that the
power supply cable does not entangle with the moving parts of the motorized slatted bedframe supplied with the
“MagniSmartech ©Motor” or “MagniSmartech”, or that it does not get damaged.
- If you suspect any presence of damage or inappropriate operation, put the product out of service by disconnecting
the power supply cable/s.
- The power supply cable/s must be set so that it is not dragged away, walked on or damaged by moving parts during
its operation.
- Regularly check the powers supply cables by checking for any mechanical
damage (abrasions, uncovered wires, bending, dents, etc.) and - in particular - in case of mechanical overload
(e.g. crushing motorized slatted bedframe) or after any change of position of the same motorized slatted bedframe
supplied with the “MagniSmartech ©Motor” and “MagniSmartech” versions before plugging and regularly during
the operations by the user.

3.1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
As already described, the MagniSmartech ©systems are available in the following three configurations and conditions of use:
- “MagniSmartech” version (complete system) with motorized slatted bed frame, motor control & anti-snoring
functions, a vital signs acquisition system and chromotherapy
- “MagniSmartech ©Mattress” version with a vital signs acquisition system and chromotherapy
- “MagniSmartech ©Motor” version with a motoirzed slatted bed frame, motor control & anti-snoring functions
3.1.1 DESCRIPTION OF MAGNISMARTECH ©SYSTEMS FUNCTION
The “MagniSmartech ©Motor” version is provided with a motor control system that allows users to operate the
double bedframe. The system also allows users to manage the incline of the head and legs through a remote control
or cell phone “APP” using a BLE4 connection (4th generation Bluetooth).
A microphone is located close to the head of the bed and connected to the control unit. The system can hear when
a user is snoring.

If activated, the MagniSmartech ©anti-snoring system will start the motors and move the user to a position that will
reduce or completely eliminate the snoring, which is often due to the sleeping position of the neck.
It must be taken into consideration that at least 20 seconds of snoring activity is required for the signal to be
acknowledged; at that point, the motorized slats will incline by approximately 10% versus its starting position. The
system will go back to its initial position after 1 minute (throughout this time interval, the discrimination system of
the signal remains in stand-by).
The MagniSmartech ©anti-snoring system may not be accurate and will activate involuntarily if there is continuous
noise in the room.
An improper microphone position (with the ideal position at the center of the head of the bed, 40 cm above the height
of the pillow) may affect the optimal performance of the MagniSmartech ©anti-snoring system.
Furthermore, this version is also equipped with a massage system (in fixed mode) which, if operational, will activate
the massage function in the front and/or rear position of the motoized slatted bedframe.
The “MagniSmartech ©Mattress” version collects vital parameters (breathing and heartbeat), during the rest stage,
which are determined through a set of sensors connected to a central control card, which allows for the following
functions:
1) Detection of the average heart and breathing frequencies;
2) Detection of the humidity within the room and the ambient temperature;
3) Detection of the mattress temperature;
4) Detection of the luminosity in the room, ambient sound pressure and atmospheric pressure;
5) Detection of the frequency of movements of a person laying in the bed.
Chromotherapy system based on the lighting of RGB LED lights, which are located under the bed frame;
6) The lighting can can be set through the cell phone “APP”.
The “MagniSmartech ©Mattress” continuously records data without any need for the user to wear sensors. The
sensors are inside the mattress, allowing the processing of data and other relevant access to be recorded in Real
Time, either in proximity of the device or remotely.The smartphone is only used to control the beginning and the end
of the data recording session. It is not required to place the phone in close proximity to the bed.
