1Production Introduction
1.1 Product overview
The device is designed specially for car video surveillance in a higher cost
performance, It uses a high-speed processor and Linux operating system that combines
the latest technology in IT field,.Such as audio and video compression / decompression
technology, the structure uses a special anti-shock technology, the use of specific
software on the hard disk protection technology,it effectively solves Car DVR problems
which hard disk goes wrong frequently. The product has good shock resistance, heat
resistance and stability, it can be widely used in various vehicles.

3 Installation Instructions
3.1 the host installation considerations
To make sure car DVR use safely,prolong the service life of device,clients should take
below factors into consideration:
1、When you installate and operate device,please observe aii electronic products
specifications,vehicles and other device demand.
2、Power and grounding
1) Device power supply input range: DC 8V~36V,please be careful not to
reverse,output can’t be shorted,look out power supply capacity of power supply cord;
2) Even though device shut,the machine is energized,avoiding short circuit.before
you connect another external device,please disconnect the connection between the
device and power supply;
3) Connect devices to the vehicle's ground line correctly to loop composition;
4) If the machine is not used for long, preferably completely disconnect the power to
prolong the service life.
3、Moisture requirement
1) Installing the device in a dry environment, avoid damp, dripping, spraying and
other places

2) Don’t touch the device with wet hands.
4、Installation site
1) In order to prolong device service life, the equipment install on the vehicle vibration
weaker parts possibly, such as the rear of the driver's seat;
2) The device should be installed in the vehicle ventilated area
3) External wire of the device shoule has enough interval and the protection of coat
flame tube,to make sure that the cable is not bent or wear and leakage which because of
vibration
4) Ensure that the device on the vehicle away from the heat source, the device can
not have debris piled up around the prohibited place any objects on the device.
5) Far as possible from electromagnetic complex environment, away from strong
interference environment
5、device security
1) Ensure passenger or driver can not interfere and damage any part of the device
2) When installing device, powered vehicles may cause damage of the device, be
sure the vehicle is stationary during the installation process, avoiding device falling down
3.2 Access power
1、Power cord material:depending on the device and host maximum load
requirements, select wire diameter cord requires 1.5MM-2.5MM, using BVV wiret
to ensure that the wires are not frayed.
2、Host power access methods: It is recommended to take from the battery positive
and negative electricity alone.
3、Device power cord with other lines should be vertical alignment to avoiding
synthetic interference
4、Power cord adapter connector use solid way possibly, and to avoid pulling stretch
work.
5、Line alignment requirements, location is convenient to gather route ,hidden beauty,
all the lines plus protective sleeve.

4 Basic operation
4.1 Turn on
Plug the power supply and the power indicator light shining ,start the vehicle,the mobile DVR is
turned on.After the startup you will hear a beep.The default setting of video output is multiple-window
output mode.If the startup time is within the video setting time, the timing video recording function will
start up automatically. Then the video indicator light of corresponding channel is shining and the mobile
DVR is working normally.
Note:
1.Make sure that the input voltage corresponds with the switch of the mobile DVR power supply.
2.The mobile DVR have no switch,it starts up through the vehicle ignition device,means it uses the
vehicle key to ignition.
3.Input voltage demand:+8V~+36V,the voltage lower than 8V or higher than 36V for a long time,then
the DVR will turn off automatically,and enter protect mode.
4.If you soft shutdown the DVR when the vehicle had start up,you should re-ignition the vehicle to reboot
the DVR.
4.2Turn off
There are two methods to turn off the DVR.Soft switch: Entering [main menu] and choosing [turn off]
in the [turn off the system] option .Hard switch:Directly pull off the power cable in the rear panel,also can
let the vehicle flameout to shutdown the DVR automatically.
Illumination:
1、Auto resume after power failure
If the DVR is shut down abnormally, it can automatically backup video and resume previous working
status after power failure.
2、Replace the hard disk
Before replacing the hard disk, the DVR must be soft turn off.
3、Replace the battery
Before replacing the battery, the setting information must be saved and pull off the power cable to
make sure the DVR totally turn off.The DVR uses button battery. The system time must be checked
regularly. If the time is not correct you must replace the battery, we recommend replacing the battery

every year and using the same battery type.
Note:
before replacing the battery you must soft shutdown or let the vehicle flameout to turn off the
DVR automatically,otherwise the configuration information will lose.
4.3System Login
When the DVR boots up, the user must login and the system provides the corresponding functions
with the user purview.There are three user settings. The names are admin, guest and default and these
names have no password. Admin is the super user purview; guest and default’s permissions are
preview and video playback. User admin and guest’s password can be revised, while their permissions
can’t be revised; user default is the default login user whose permission can be revised but not its
password.

Password protection: If the password is continuous wrong three times, the alarm will start. If
the password is continuous wrong five times, the account will be locked. (Through reboot or after
half an hour, the account will be unlocked automatically).
For your system security, please modify your password after first login.
4.4 Preview
You can right click mouse to choose the switch between the windows.
The system date, time and channel name are shown in each viewing window. The surveillance video
and the alarm status are shown in each window.

4.5 Desktop shortcut menu
In preview mode you can right click mouse to get a desktop shortcut menu,as the picture 3.2
shows.The menu includes: main menu, record mode, playback, PTZ control, High Speed PTZ,
Alarm Output, color Setting, Output adjust, Logout.

4.5.2 Playback
There are two methods for you to play the video files in the memory card(SD card or USB disk).
1.In the desktop shortcut menu.
2.Main menu>Record->Playback
Note: The hard disk that saves the video files must be set as read-write or read-only state.(5.5.1).

【File list】Look up the listed files that accord with the searching criteria.
【File information】Look up the found file information.
【File backup】Choose the file and Click backup button , the dialog box is popped up. Do the
operation as follow ‘s instruction.
Note: The storage must be installed before the file backup.
If the backup is terminated, the already backup can playback individually.

Detect:Detect the storage connected with the DVR such as hard disk or universal disk.
Burning:the file will be burned synchronously after click it.
Stop:Stop backup.
Erase:Choose the file to delete and click erasure to delete the file.
Backup:Click backup button and the dialog box is popped up. You can choose the backup file
according to the type, channel and time.

Remove:Clear the file information.
Add:Show the file information satisfying the set file attributes.
Start/pause:Click the play button to start the backup and click the pause button to stop the backup.
Note:During backup you can exit the page layout to carry out other functions.
【File searching】According to the configurated search parameters to search the video files
