Press once to set start point A, press
again to set end point B. After setting the
section will repeat. Press button again to
cancel repeat.

In STOP, press repeatedly to view NTSC,
PAL, auto-display of the screen.
35. PROG
Press to set a play order for DVD chapters
or CD tracks.
36. SLOW
Press to activate the Slow Motion feature
on DVD mode. Press again to stop.

Insert the batteries into the battery compartment.
Point the remote at the remote sensor in front of the
player and make sure there are no obstacles in the way
between the remote and the player. The distance between
the remote and the sensor must not exceed 3m.
To prevent damage to the remote control, please remove
the batteries when not in use for long periods of time.

Setting Up
Connect the power plug of the DVD player to a wall outlet.
The power indicator on the front panel will illuminate red.
Press the On/O on the front panel or the Remote Control
to start the DVD player. The power indicator on the front
panel will illuminate green.
Follow the below guidance for cable connections to get
your DVD player set up:
Cable Connections
1a. Connect a RCA cable from the Video AUX Left Output
on the back panel of the DVD player to the RCA input on
your TV.
1b. Connect a HDMI cable between the HDMI Output on
the back panel of the DVD player to the HDMI input on
your TV.
2. If you have a stereo amplier, connect a coaxial cable
between the Coaxial Ouput on the back panel of the DVD
player to the coaxial input on your stereo.
3. Control the playback via the buttons of the Remote
Control.

DVD Operation
Press the Open/Close button on the front panel or on the
Remote Control and place a DVD disc on the Disc Tray.
Press the Open/Close button again to close.
The DVD player will read the DVD disc and begin the
playback.
Control the playback via the buttons of the Remote
Control.
USB Operation
Insert a USB unit into the USB Port on the front panel of
the DVD player.
Press the DVD/USB button on the Remote Control to enter
the USB source. The DVD Player will read and display the
le list of the USB unit.
Browse the le list by pressing the buttons on the
Remote Control. Select a le by pressing the OK button of
the Remote Control.
The following le formats can be played: AVI, MPG, TS/TRP,
JPG, JPEG, MP3, WMA. If a le is invalid,“not supported” will
display.
Maximum storage capacity is 32GB and each folder up to a
maximum 5000.

Press the SETUP button on the Remote Control to open up
the setup of the DVD Player.
There are six dierent menus in the setup: General,
Preference, Audio, Quality, Speaker and Dolby. Follow the
instructions in the individual paragraphs for a choice of
setup options:

Digital Dolby Setup
Please note:
Press the button to browse between sub-menu’s.
To access the sub-menu, press the ENTER button to
conrm entry. Now browse between the settings in that
sub-menu.
To close the setup of the DVD player, press SETUP on the
Remote Control.

1. Press the buttons on the Remote Control to open
the “System” menu.
2. Eight Submenus will appear that you can select
between. Press the buttons on the remote control to
circle between the sub-menus:
a) TV System
This product supports outputs of various systems,
including AUTO, PAL, PAL60, NTSC. If your TV has NTSC
or PAL, the screen will blink and become colourless
when wrong system is selected. If this is the case, press
the N/P button to return to normal.
b) Auto-play
Choose between On/O.
c) HD Output - (Sch)
You can choose the following resolution levels from the
HDMI output: 720P, 1080i, 1080P.
d) Video
Set up video options.
e) TV Type - (SCH)
Dierent values will show here depending on your TV
set:

- 4:3 PBS - When the unit connects to the normal TV
set, the wide-screen image shows on the full screen,
but some part is cut o.
- 4:3 LB - When the unit connects to the normal TV set,
the wide-screen image shows and black bars appear
on the top and bottom of screen
- 16:9 - Use this item when the unit is connected to the
widescreen TV set
f) Password
Open the sub menu for the password settings. Note:
The default password is 8888
g) Rating (Parental Guidance) (SCH)
Select to control parental control settings. Any disc with
the parental level higher than the set level will not be
played.

Reset the settings to the factory settings

the “Language Preference” menu.
2. Five dierent submenus will appear on the menu.
Press the buttons on the Remote Control to circle
between the sub-menus:
a) OSD Language - Select language for OSD setup
b) Audio Language - Select audio language if the DVD
oers language options
c) Subtitle Language - Turn on/o subtitles and choose
the language.
d) Menu Language - Select SETUP menu language
e) DIVX [R] VOD - Displays a register code to register
your DivX product on www.divx.com/vod

the “Audio” menu.
2. Five dierent submenus will appear on the sub-menus.
Press the buttons on the Remote Control to circle
between the sub-menus:
a) Audio Out - Select PCM or Raw for your Optical/
Coaxial cable connections
b) HDMI Audio - Choose between AUTO or PCM.
c) Mic Setup - Select AUTO/OFF
d) Key - Select your desired KEY option
e) Echo - Select your desired ECHO option
f) Mic vol - Select your desired MIC VOL option
3. When you enter a sub-menu, a number of options will
appear for the entered sub-menu.

the “Video” menu.
2. Five dierent submenus will appear on the menu. Press
the buttons on the remote control to scroll to browse
between the sub-menus:
a) Brightness - Select your desired brightness option
b) Contrast - Select your desired contrast option
c) Hue - Select your desired hue option
d) Saturation - Select your desired saturation option
e) Sharpness - Select your desired sharpness option
3. When you enter a sub-menu, a number of options will
appear for the entered sub-menu.

1. Press the buttons on the remote control to open
the ‘Speaker’ menu (Rem. 7, 24, 25, 28).
2. Five dierent submenus will appear on the menu. Press
the buttons on the remote control to scroll to browse
between the sub-menus to select the stereo output:
a) Downmix mode
• Stereo: sets audio output to the stereo output
• L-Mono: sets audio output to the mono-left channel
• R-Mono: sets audio output to the mono-right channel
• Mix-Mono: sets audio output to the Mix mono channel
b) Subwoofer
Select to reduce the bass and treble, and to create a ne
detailed sound. This mode is recommended for reduced
sound to avoid disturbance for night time viewing.
c) Center Delay
Select to adjust the centre delay between a selection of
options.
d) Rear Delay
Select to adjust the rear delay between a selection of
options.
e) Front
Choose between setting the Front as large or small.

1. Press the buttons on the remote control to open
the ‘Digital’ menu (Rem. 7, 24, 25, 28).
2. Three dierent submenus will appear on the menu.
Press the buttons on the remote control to scroll
to browse between the sub-menus to select the stereo
output:
a) OP Mode
Select OP Mode to choose between LINE OUT or RF
REMOD.
b) Dynamic Range
Select to choose your desired option for the dynamic
range: full, 6/8, 4/8, 2/8, O.
c) Dual Mono
Select to choose between the following Dual Mono
options:
• Stereo: sets audio output to the stereo output
• L-Mono: sets audio output to the mono-left channel
• R-Mono: sets audio output to the mono-right channel
• Mix-Mono: sets audio output to the Mix mono channel

CD Function
Place a CD disc into the CD tray and the player will begin
to search. Once processed and set up, the player will play
the rst song on the disc. The TV screen will display“Track
01/XX”to indicate this.
A variety of discs and le formats can be read including
MP3 and JPEG:
MP3 Discs
If inserting and playing a MP3 disc, you can enter dierent
menus by pressing the PROG button on the remote:
a) File List
Select the les to be played by using the buttons to
scroll and the ENTER button to make your selections.
b) Folder
Display the menu rst and then use buttons to
select subdirectory and music.
JPEG Picture Discs
Once the disc is inserted into the machine, you can
select the picture to view with the number keys on the
remote control followed by pressing the ENTER button.
Alternatively, use the buttons to scroll.

SD Card Function
Insert an SD card via the SD card slot (Ref.).
Scroll through available les on the SD card by using the
buttons on the remote control. Select the le you
would like to view with the ENTER button (Ref.).
