Initial Setup
Connecting
You can connect the headphones two ways to enjoy audio:
• Create a wireless connection to a mobile device or computer that features Bluetooth wireless
technology (see Bluetooth Pairing below); or
• Use the included 3.5mm stereo cable to connect (H) to an audio source (which doesn’t require
charging the battery first). Note: The buttons — Multifunction (A), Previous (B), Next (C), Play/Pause
(D) — and volume dial (F) work only during Bluetooth wireless operation.
Built-in battery charging
Prior to initial use as wireless headphones , the built-in battery needs to be charged. A full charge can
take up to 3 hours, but you can listen to music or make phone calls while charging.
1Use the included USB-to-micro USB cable to
connect the headphones (E) to a powered
computer or other charging device.
2The LED (G) lights red while charging and turns
off when the charge is complete. Note: The LED
flashes red to indicate low voltage. Recharge the battery as soon as you can. For details, see About
the Battery below.
Bluetooth Pairing & Wireless Operation
This product utilizes the latest in Bluetooth wireless technology; wireless performance may vary from
device to device. If using this product with a Mac or PC, ensure that your Bluetooth driver is up to
date. If it isn’t, visit your computer manufacturer’s website for details and updates.
1Press the Multifunction button (A) for about 5 seconds, until the LED (G) alternately flashes red and
blue. Note: Pressing the Multifunction button for just 3 seconds will put the headphones in Standby
mode (the LED lights red, then flashes blue only).
2 With the LED (G) alternately flashing red and blue, activate your device’s Bluetooth function and
search for Bluetooth devices. Refer as needed to the manual of your phone, tablet, computer, etc.

3Once the device finds“manhattanFATHOM,”an on-screen prompt will ask if you’re ready for pairing.
Click or press OK or Confirm to continue. Note: If the device prompts you to enter a PIN, enter 0000
and click or press Yes or Confirm to continue.
• After a successful connection is made, the LED (G) will flash blue and the headset will beep. If the
pairing has failed and the LED is still alternately flashing red and blue, the pairing procedure needs
to be re-initiated on your source device.
Pairing with more than one device at a time (Multipairing)
These headphones can connect with two types of devices: those using a Hands-Free or Headset
Profile (HFP orHSP), such as smartphones; and those using an Advanced Audio Distribution or Audio/
Video Remote Control Profile (A2DP or AVRCP), such as laptops. To pair the headphones with a phone
and any other Bluetooth-enabled devices, pair with the other devices first, then turn them off before
pairing with the phone last. When the other devices are turned on again, they will connect with the
headphones automatically.
• Once multiple devices have been paired, the headphones will remember each one unless they are
deleted from a device’s Bluetooth profile.
• If the headphones are paired with a phone that supports both types of profiles (HFP and A2DP, for
example), simultaneous connections may be made that won’t allow other devices to be connected.
Reconnecting to a Bluetooth-enabled device
Every time the headphones are turned on, they’ll automatically connect to the last connected device.
• If the headphones are in Standby mode but not connected to any HFP devices, briefly press the
Multifunction button (A) twice to connect to the last connected HFP device.

• If the headphones are in Standby mode but not connected to any A2DP devices, briefly press the
Next button (C) once to connect to the last connected A2DP device.
Near Field Communication (NFC) Operation
Make sure that your mobile phone has the NFC function and the headphones aren’t low on power.
Specific NFC procedures can vary among phones: Refer to your phone manual as needed for details.
•To automatically turn the headphones on or off, hold the phone (with the NFC function activated)
within a centimeter of the inductive area (K) of the headphones for 3 seconds.
•To automatically enable the headphones’Bluetooth function, hold the phone (with the NFC
function activated) within a centimeter of the inductive area (K) of the headset for 5 seconds.
About the Battery
• A new battery attains its optimal level of performance (its ability to fully power the headphones)
only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. The battery can be charged and
discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out.
• When not charging the battery, disconnect the headphones from any power source. Do not leave a
fully charged battery connected to a charging circuit since overcharging may shorten battery life.
• If a fully charged battery is left unused, it will fully discharge over a period of time. These
headphones will automatically turn off if no devices are connected during wireless operation.
• Leaving the headphones exposed to extremes in temperature for any length of time, such as in a
parked car during summer or winter, will reduce the battery life and capacity. Ideally, the battery
temperature should be maintained at 15-25˚C (59-77˚F).
• As with any batteries, do not dispose of the headphones in a fire or anywhere it could be expected
to catch fire, as the built-in battery could explode.
Operating Tips
If you’re unable to connect the headphones to a device:
• Make sure that the headphones are fully charged, switched on, paired with the device and
indicating a successful connection.
• Make sure the device’s Bluetooth function is activated.
• Check that the distance between the headphones and the device is no more than 10 m / 33 ft., and
that there are no obstructions such as walls or other active wireless items between two devices that
could interfere with the signal.
• Bluetooth music devices or Bluetooth / Bluetooth stereo transmitter music devices must support
Bluetooth A2DP and Bluetooth AVRCP.
• If the headphones are paired to more than one device at the same time, they will only connect to
the device with the strongest signal.
• Not all phones feature the function that allows the headphones to be switched from music to
phone calls.
Operation Steps
Power on / Standby Press the Multifunction button about 3 seconds. The LED
lights red, then flashes blue.
Power off Press the Multifunction button about 3 seconds. The LED
turns red with an audio confirmation.
Pairing Press the Multifunction button about 5 seconds (until the
LED alternately flashes red and blue).
Answer/End a call Briefly press the Multifunction button.
Reject a call Press the Multifunction button for about 2 seconds (until
you hear a beep), then release.
Last number redial In Standby mode, press the Multifunction button twice.

Increase/Decrease During a call or while listening to music, rotate the Volume
volume dial up or down to increase or decrease the volume. A
beep indicates the maximum or minimum level.
Previous Briefly press I tt to play the previous song in a playlist.
Next Briefly press uu I to play the next song in a playlist.
Voice transfer During a call, press the Multifunction button for about 2
seconds (until you hear a beep). The beep indicates you’ve
switched between music and phone call modes.
Microphone mute Briefly press the Multifunction button twice to switch the
Mute function on or off.

• Ist das Headset im Standby-Modus, aber nicht mit einem HFP-Gerät gekoppelt, drücken Sie kurz die

aktivierter NFC-Funktion) 5 Sekunden lang an den induktiven Bereich (K) des Headsets.
Über den Akku
•Ein neuer Akku bietet optimale Leistung (d. h. die bestmögliche Stromversorgung des Headsets) nach
zwei oder drei vollständigen Lade- und Entladevorgängen. Der Akku kann viele hundert Male
aufgeladen werden, wird mit der Zeit aber an Leistung verlieren.
•Wenn Sie den Akku gerade nicht aufladen, trennen Sie das Headset von der Stromquelle. Belassen Sie
einen vollständig aufgeladenen Akku nicht an einer Stromquelle, da dies die Akkulebensdauer
verkürzen kann.
•Wenn der Akku nicht genutzt wird, entlädt er sich mit der Zeit von allein. Dieses Headset schaltet sich
automatisch aus, wenn während des kabellosen Betriebs keine Geräte gekoppelt werden.
•Wird der Akku über einen längeren Zeitraum extremen Temperaturen ausgesetzt, z. B. in einem
geparkten Wagen im Sommer oder Winter, reduziert dies die Akkuleistung und -lebensdauer.
Idealerweise sollte die Akkutemperatur zwischen 15 und 25˚C gehalten werden.
•Wie mit allen Akkus sollten Sie darauf achten, dass Sie nicht in offenes Feuer geraten, da dabei
Explosionsgefahr entsteht.
Bedienungstipps
Sollten Sie das Headset nicht einwandfrei via Bluetooth nutzen können:
•Achten Sie darauf, dass das Headset vollständig geladen, eingeschaltet und über Bluetooth mit Ihrem
Gerät gekoppelt ist und dabei eine erfolgreiche Verbindung angezeigt wird.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass die Bluetooth-Funktion des Geräts aktiviert ist.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Entfernung zwischen dem Headset und dem Quellgerät nicht mehr als 10 m
beträgt und dass sich keine Störfaktoren wie Wände oder zu viele aktive kabellose Geräte dazwischen
befinden.
•Möchten Sie Bluetooth-Musikgeräte oder Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter für Musikgeräte verwenden,
müssen diese Bluetooth A2DP und Bluetooth AVRCP unterstützen.
•Wenn Sie versuchen das Headset mit mehr als einem Gerät gleichzeitig zu koppeln, verbindet es sich
automatisch nur mit dem Gerät mit der höchsten Signalstärke.
• Nicht alle Handys unterstützen die Funktion, die Sie das Headset von Musik zu Anrufen wechseln lassen.

oraz„innym”urządzeniem z obsługą Bluetooth, najpierw należy sparować słuchawki z„innym”
urządzeniem, następnie wyłącz to urządzenie przed parowaniem z telefonem. Kiedy„inne”urządzenie
zostanieznówwłączone,automatycznienawiążepołączeniezesłuchawkami.

podłączonego w pełni naładowanego akumulatora, ponieważ przeładowanie skraca jego żywotność.
• Jeśli w pełni naładowany akumulator nie jest używany z biegiem czasu ulegnie samoczynnemu,
całkowitemu rozładowaniu. Słuchawki wyłączą się samoczynnie jeśli nie będą połączone bezprzewodowo
z innym urządzeniem.
• Pozostawianie słuchawek narażonych przez dłuższy czas na ekstremalne temperatury, np. w
zaparkowanym samochodzie podczas lata lub zimy, spowoduje zmniejszenie pojemności oraz
żywotności akumulatora. Idealna temperatura dla akumulatora wynosi około 15 – 25˚C.
Wskazówki
Jeśli nie jesteś w stanie nawiązać połączenia pomiędzy słuchawkami a urządzeniem, upewnij się że:
• Słuchawki są w pełni naładowane, włączone, sparowane z urządzeniem oraz sygnalizują nawiązanie
połączenia. Funkcja Bluetooth w urządzeniu jest włączona.

rozmową telefoniczną a odtwarzaniem muzyki.
• Jeśli słuchawki są sparowane z więcej niż jednym urządzeniem w tym samym czasie, zostaną
połączone z urządzeniem o najsilniejszym sygnale.

Questo prodotto utilizza la più recente tecnologia wireless Bluetooth; la prestazione wireless potrebbe

1 Premere il tasto Multifunzione ( A ) per circa 5 secondi, fino a quando il LED ( G )lampeggerà

2Con il LED della cuffia (G) che lampeggia alternativamente in rosso e blu, attivate la funzione Bluetooth
della vostra periferica e la ricerca delle periferiche Bluetooth. Se necessario fate riferimento al manuale
del vostro telefono, tablet, computer, ecc. Riguardo il funzionamento del Bluetooth della vostra
periferica sorgente.

Pairing con più di una periferica contemporaneamente (Multipairing)
Questa cuffia può essere connessa con due tipi di periferiche: quelle che usano un Hands-Free o Headset
Profile (HFP or HSP), come gli smartphone; e quelle che usano un Advanced Audio Distribution o Audio/
Video Remote Control Profile (A2DP or AVRCP), come i laptop. Per accoppiare la cuffia con un telefono e
un altro dispositivo abilitato Bluetooth, effettuare il pairing prima con gli altri dispositive, quindi spegnerli
prima di effettuare il pairing con il telefono. Quando le altre periferiche verranno riaccese di nuovo, si
collegheranno automaticamente con la cuffia.

Assicuratevi che il vostro telefono cellulare possieda questa funzione NFC e che la cuffia non sia scarico.
Le procedure NFC sono specifiche e possono variare tra i telefoni: se necessario fate riferimento al
manuale del vostro telefono per i dettagli.
•Per accendere o spegnere automaticamente la cuffia, tenere il telefono (con l a funzione NFC attivata)
entro un centimetro dell’area induttiva (K) della cuffia per 3 secondi.
•Per attivare automaticamente la funzione Bluetooth della cuffia, tenere il telefono (con la funzione NFC
attivata) entro un centimetro dell’area induttiva (K) della cuffia per 5 secondi.
Batteria
• Unabatterianuovaraggiungeilsuolivelloottimalediprestazione(lasuacapacitàdialimentare
completamente la cuffia) solo dopo due o tre cicli completi di carica/scarica. La batteria può essere
caricata e scaricata centinaia di volte, ma con l’uso si esaurisce.
•Quando non si carica la batteria, scollegare la cuffia da qualsiasi fonte di alimentazione. Non lasciare una
 batteriacompletamentecaricacollegataauncircuitodicaricapoichéunacaricaeccessivapuòridurre
la durata della batteria.

Suggerimenti per il funzionamento
Se non siete in grado di collegare la cuffia ad una periferica:
•Assicurarsi che la cuffia sia completamente carica, accesa, accoppiata alla periferica e che il pairing sia
avvenuto con successo. Assicurarsi che la funzione Bluetooth della periferica sia attiva.
•Verificare che la distanza tra la cuffia e la periferica non sia superiore ai 10 metri e che non ci siano
ostacoli che potrebbero interferire con il segnale, come muri o altre apparecchiature wireless attive tra
le due periferiche.

una telefonata non udite un bip), quindi rilasciare.
Alzare/Abbassare Durante una telefonata o l’ascolto di un brano musicale,
il volume ruotate la manopola del volume su o giù per alzare o
