This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is
equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding plug that looks like the plug
illustrated in sketch A. Make sure that the product is connected to an outlet having the same
configuration as the plug. No adapter should be used with this product.

CAUTION! To avoid an unstable condition, place heavier
components at the bottom of the cabinet. When more than
one component is placed in the cabinet, begin at the
bottom of the cabinet and place equipment at the lowest
available point, evenly distribute weight (vertically) within
the cabinet.

When using an electrical furnishing, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
• For institutional use.
• Read and follow all instructions before using.
• WARNING – Death or serious injury may occur when children climb on audio and/or video equipment furniture.
A remote control or toys placed on the furnishing may encourage a child to climb on the furnishing and as a result the
furnishing may tip over on the child.
• WARNING – Relocating audio and/or video equipment to furniture not specifically designed to support audio and/or
video equipment may result in death or serious injury due to the furnishing collapsing or over turning onto a child.
• DANGER – To reduce the risk of electrical shock:
Always unplug this furnishing from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
• WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1. Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.
3. Use this furnishing only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate the furnishing if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return the furnishing to a service center for examination and repair.
5. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Never operate the furnishing with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
11. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
12. For chairs and similar furnishings with movable parts such as foot supports the following statement:

13. WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock – Connect the furnishing to a properly grounded outlet only.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement
of the obsolete outlet.
14. For loading always put heavier items at the bottom and not near the top in order to help prevent the possibility of the
furnishing tipping over.
15. Each surface is intended to support a load shall have a corresponding statement in the use instructions specifying the
maximum intended load for the surface in pounds and (kilograms).
16. WARNING: The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as
vases, shall be placed on the apparatus"
17. The mains plug is used as your disconnect device. This device shall remain readily operable.
18. Clean only with dry cloth.
19. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
20. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
21. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any
way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus,
the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

11. Pour débrancher, placer tous les boutons en position off, puis retirer la fiche de la prise électrique.
12. Les chaises et meubles similaires dotés de pièces mobiles comme les repose-pieds doivent être accompagnés de la

13. AVERTISSEMENT : Risque de choc électrique - Brancher le meuble uniquement à une prise correctement mise
à la terre. Ne pas détériorer le dispositif de sécurité de la fiche polarisée ou de la fiche de terre. Une fiche polarisée
possède deux broches, dont l'une plus large que l'autre. Une fiche de type terre possède deux broches et une
troisième de mise à la terre. La broche large ou la troisième fiche sont fournies pour des raisons de sécurité. Si la
fiche fournie n'entre pas dans votre prise de courant, veuillez faire appel à un électricien pour remplacer la prise
obsolète.
14. Les objets les plus lourds doivent toujours être placés dans la partie inférieure du meuble, et non pas dans la partie
supérieure, afin d'éviter tout risque de basculement du meuble.
15. Chaque surface est destinée à soutenir une charge spécifique et sera accompagnée d'une déclaration dans la fiche
d'instructions spécifiant la charge maximale prévue pour cette surface en livres et en (kilogrammes).
16. AVERTISSEMENT : L' appareil ne doit pas être exposé à des éclaboussures et aucun objet rempli de liquide,
comme des vases , ne doit être placé sur l'appareil "
17. La fiche secteur est utilisée comme sectionneur de courant. Ce dispositif doit rester en état de marche.
18. Nettoyer uniquement avec un chiffon sec.
19. Débrancher cet appareil pendant les orages ou s'il n'est pas utilisé pendant de longues périodes.
20. Utiliser uniquement les pièces/accessoires indiqués par le fabricant.
21. Confier toutes les réparations à un personnel qualifié. Une réparation s'impose lorsque l'appareil a été endommagé
d'une manière quelconque, par exemple en cas d'endommagement du cordon d'alimentation ou de sa fiche, de
renversement de liquide ou de chute d'objets à l'intérieur, d'exposition à la pluie ou à l'humidité, de dysfonctionnement
ou de chute de l'appareil.

OPERATION
DURING OPERATION:
• IF THE FLEXVIEW MAKES UNUSUAL NOISE OR SMELLS, SWITCH OFF THE MAINS VOLTAGE IMMEDIATELY.
• TAKE CARE THAT THE CABLES ARE NOT DAMAGED.
• BEFORE CART IS MOVED, UNPLUG THE MAINS CABLE ON THE MOBILE EQUIPMENT.

FLAT PANEL INSTALLATION
Selecting The Mounting Hardware To Attach Brackets To Flat Panel
1. Identify the correct diameter screw for the flat
panel threaded inserts. The correct screws
should thread easily and not pull out when
tension is applied.
2. To determine proper screw length, insert thread
depth indicator into a threaded insert on the flat panel.
3. Mark the thread depth indicator 1/8” above the
depth of the threaded insert. (FIGURE A)
4. Select a screw that is shorter than the 1/8” mark
made on the thread depth indicator.
NOTE: Do not use any screw longer than the 1/8”
mark or damage to the flat panel may occur.
Universal Washers
Universal washers are designed to accommodate the various
M4, M5, M6 and M8 hole sizes found in flat panels. (FIGURE B)

Nylon Spacers (FIGURE D)
Nylon spacers add distance between Display Mounting Brackets and display. They will fit
all supplied screw sizes. The spacers must be used only when attaching displays which have:
• Recessed mount points
• Uneven mount points
• Any obstruction near the mount points
• A curved back
NOTE:
• Nylon Spacers must only be installed between the
Display Mounting Bracket and the display.

Hanging the Display
1. Tilt display and hook display mounting brackets onto flange of horizontal display bracket into grooves
along the top of the bracket. (FIGURE E)
2. Center display on horizontal display bracket, then push along the bottom of display until both display
mount brackets click into place. (FIGURE F)
3. To remove display from the display cart, pull both release cord rings down while pulling bottom of
display away from the horizontal display bracket. Lift display off flange of horizontal display bracket.

DOOR REMOVAL
1. Unlock top door panel and tilt and lift off to
expose rear of unit for cable management.

NOTE: Upper compartment access is intended
for setup and cable management access. It is
not intended for storage.
2. Pull latch on bottom door panel, tilt and lift
off to expose rear component and storage
compartment. (FIGURE J)
3. To reinstall, hook the bottom of each door
panel and lock the top (or latch the bottom)
door panel in place. For equipment security,
bottom door panel can also be locked.

4. Once display installation is complete, use level adjustment screws on top of display mount brackets
to level display. (FIGURE H)
5. For security, a lock (not supplied) can be attached to security holes on both display mount brackets.

The FlexView comes equipped with the following Lever Lock™ items: (4) LL receptacle brackets,
(2) LL-HC21 horizontal channels, and (1) LL-VP1710 vertical 10” deep plate.

1. Insert the Lever Lock plate into the
mating slots in the upper horizontal channel.

2. Secure lock mechanism into the mating slots
in the lower horizontal channel. (FIGURE L)
NOTE: Position the flanges to the outside of
the rack to maximize usability.

1. Insert horizontal channels into the mating slots in
the side receptacle brackets. Ensure the lock
mechanism is facing the bottom of the rack.

CABLE MANAGEMENT / EQUIPMENT MOUNTING
1. Raise display to highest position before securing cables. Create a service loop to assure adequate
cable length when display is fully extended. Cables can be secured to movable clips (provided) using
wire ties. Secure Cable Management Clips into existing clip mounting holes in desired locations
using supplied wood screws. (FIGURE N)
2. Lower display down to the lowest position to ensure you have adequate cable length. (FIGURE N)

UNIT MAINTENANCE
1. Clean only using soft dry cloth.
2. Over time, lift mechanism may begin to squeak. To lubricate, apply lithium or Teflon® grease
to the lift arms on both sides of unit.
