3. Once congured, replace the lid.
►Switch 1 and 2 sets the sound mode combination.
►Switch 3 sets the sound level.

1. Remove the lid by pressing both buttons on each side of the Gady.
2. Use the following table to set the mode switches:
HARDWARE SETUP
►Both indicator lights will briey
ash.
►After 10 second delay, the
indicator light will ash again.
►Device will emit a sound.
2. Turn on the Gady by pressing the power
button on the side.
►South-facing, ideally where it
will be exposed to sunlight for
charging.

MOUNTING AND STARTUP
Always wear ear protection when in the
vicinity of the speaker! Never hold device
close to yours or anyone else’s ears! The
speaker can produce noises exceeding
105DBA (range 1-5KHZ).
This device includes 1 LiFePO4 rechargeable
battery, MAX 3.6v. If desired, a 3V non-
rechargeable, size RCR123A battery can be
substituted. When using Gady with a non-
rechargeable battery, the solar panel must be
disconnected to reduce damage.
POWER
The Margo Gady is a motion activated wildlife deterrent with a built-in speaker that
emits noises specically designed to scare animals in it’s vicinity. The Gady is able to
detect movement from 10m (30ft) away.
