Introduction
Algae TURF Scrubber is a water filtration device which uses light to grow algae. In this
process, undesirable chemicals are removed from the water. Algae is growing by the Red
and Blue light, and algae will remove toxic substance like PO4, NO3 and etc… in your salty
aquarium tank.
Marine Magic Algae TURF Scrubber , MM-ALGAE-01 is an Upflow design. We use 1 set
of LED module and each of it contains 8 pcs high power Red LED and 1 pcs of Blue LED
light to facilitate the growth of algae.
Our Product Features:
1. This is an upflow design and easy hang on the fish tank. The device is made of extra fine
acrylic.
2. With 9 pcs of high power LED to simulate the Red and Blue wavelength which are
favorable for algae growth. (8 pcs RED LED at 660 nm and 1 pcs of BLUE LED at
450nm)
3. With Controller to control the Led on / off , intensity. Also could control the water pump
on off.
4. Removable Growing screen, quick cleaning and removable.
5. Nylon rough texture mesh.
6. Algae blocker r to block algae getting into Reef Display tank. .
7. Separate LED module design, easy and safe to use.

Setting up
1. Below is the construction diagram.
2. Connect the wiring as below picture

6.Hang on the Reef tank, install completed.
4. Connecting the water pump to the water dispenser plug, put the LED and the lid on
the unit.
5. Make sure the Algae blocker on the unit.
3. Assemble LED set
Remove the 3M
sticker and assemble
to the LED plate

PS: If you hang the ATS on a low water level tank, suggest to add-on purchase our silencer as
below images.

How to setup the controller
Press SET and then use the direction key to set up the timer function.
 A1 – This is to set the current clock of the controller
 A2 – This is to set the time of the LED on
 A3 – This is to set the time of the LED off
 A4 – This is setting the LED light intensity. (4 is strongest)
The controller inside has a cell batteries which could memorize the current clock even in
power outage.
To control the water pump, just press the central button to turn on and off.
TIPS
To achieve a better growing of the algae, this is reccommeded to supplying the blue and red
light for 16 hours everyday only. In an other words, It needs to left about 8 hours of the
device without lighting supply.
Marine Magic MM-ALGAE-01 is now equipped with controller with could control the LED
light on/off, and water pump on / off.

LED indication on controller
White – This will be on while in the timer mode
Blue – This will be on while the water pump is working
Red – This will be on while the algae tank is water full. (This LED just for MM-
ATS-02 and MM-ATS-02A)
