The V-LCD8-PRO is a stand-alone monitor with a large 7.9” active matrix LCD panel built into a rugged plastic enclosure. Its sleek
design makes it ideal for any indoor or outdoor mobile monitoring application. It has a 1/4-20 mount located on the bottom of the unit
for mounting purposes. The unit has 1 composite and 1 S-Video input, both with active loop through capability. This unit is also
equipped with our new bayonet locking 12VDC power supply, ensuring that the power to the unit will not come undone while being
handled. The unit is NTSC/PAL auto recognition and has an on-screen display to access color, tint, contrast and brightness controls.

To operate the unit:
1) Each LCD Panel comes with a protective plastic film that must be removed by carefully lifting the film from the corner and
peeling it off. Be certain not to apply any pressure on the LCD panels, they are fragile and can break. Scratched, cracked or
broken LCD screens are not covered by our warranty.
2) Supply the unit with either a composite or S-Video source. Be certain that the selector switch is moved to the correct
position; composite or S-Video
3) Connect the power supply and press the POWER button on the front of the unit. If no signal is detected, the unit will display a
blue screen with the NO SIGNAL message in the middle of the screen.

Picture Adjustment and Menu Functions
1. BRIGHTNESS - The BRIGHTNESS can be adjusted at any time by using the UP and DOWN keys on the unit without going
through the MENU.
2. COLOR / CONTRAST / TINT adjustments - Press the MENU button on the front of the unit and use the UP and DOWN keys
to select COLOR, CONTRAST or TINT, once selected press the MENU button again to view the control bar:
Then use the UP and DOWN keys to adjust the level.
To exit the menu, either use the EXIT selection on the screen, or let the menu exit on its own after five seconds of non-activity.
3. SYSTEM SETUP - Enter the MENU and select SYSTEM SETUP. And then press MENU on the PCB to enter SYSTEM
SETUP. The screen will appear a menu of system setup as the following.
DIMMER HIGH
Press MENU to enter dimmer setup. Press UP/DOWN to select DIMMER HIGH / DIMMER MID / DIMMER LOW and then
press MENU to select it.
HOR NOR.
Press MENU to enter a setup of horizontal reverse image. Press UP/DOWN to reverse image.
VER NOR.
Press MENU to enter a setup of vertical reverse image. Press UP/DOWN to reverse image.
Warranty
Marshall Electronics warranties to the first consumer, that this V-LCD8-PRO stand-alone monitor will, under normal use, be
free from defects in workmanship and materials, when received in its original container, for a period of one year from the pur-
chase date.
This warranty is extended to the first consumer only and proof of purchase is necessary to honor the warranty. If there is no
proof of purchase provided with a warranty claim, Marshall Electronics reserves the right, not to honor the warranty set forth
above. Therefore, labor and parts may be charged to you.
This warranty does not apply to product exterior and cosmetics. Misuse, abnormal service or handling, improper alterations or
modifications in design or construction, voids this warranty.
No sales personnel of the seller, nor any other person is authorized to make any warranties other than those described above,
or to extend the duration of any warranties on behalf of Marshall Electronics, beyond the time period described above.
