The PF809M have an internal memory to store your
digital pictures and does not included an external
memory card with the packaging. You may also need to
have one external memory card (SD/MMC/MS/xD/CF/
MS Pro) with photos les to operate this device.

Remote Control Preparation & Use
The wireless remote control already has a battery installed. To enable the remote, you
will need to remove the battery protector as show below.
1. Turn over the remote to the back cover.
2. Pull the plastic tab to enable the battery in the remote.
Your remote is now ready for use.

Remote Control Battery Holder
Release Clip Handle
Using the Wireless Remote Control
The remote control works best when pointed
directly at the unit. Stay within 30 degree angle
of the unit.
Battery Polarity
To replace the battery, remove the Battery Holder from the remote control. To re-
move the battery holder, use your thumbnail to squeeze the Release Clip in toward
the center, while simultaneously pulling the Handle out with your index ngernail.
Place the battery into the holder as pictured below with the POSITIVE SIDE
(marked on Battery as “ +”) facing upwards and insert into the remote control to
complete the battery installation.

a. Connect the player with the
stand as shown :
b. Connect the power adapter to the power outlet. Connect the DC-out port of the AC
Adapter to the DC-in port of the player. As shown below:
c. Insert a memory card into the appropriate socket (be careful to insert the card
properly). Move the power switch to ON position. You are now ready to enjoy
your photos, music and video les.

d. Connect the AV cable to the TV set. As shown below:
Attention:
You must return to the picture frame’s Main Menu FIRST before connecting the
AV output cable to your TV or external video device. If there is no video signal
displayed on the external video device, try the following: Unplug the AV cable,
turn off & back on the picture frame and return to the Main Menu, then connect
the AV cable to your TV.
You cannot display video on BOTH the picture frame and an external video
device at the same time. During AV output mode, the video signal will be sent to
a TV or external video device and only a black screen will be displayed on the
picture frame
e.Connect with a U-disk
You can also connect with a U-disk or any usb storage device via USB HOST cable
between PC and the picture frame ,as show blow:

f .Connecting to PC
(1) Position properly your PC so that you may access the USB port more
easily.(Note: Some USB port(s) may be found at the front panel instead of the back.
Contact your system vendor for detail information if necessary).
(2) Plug the USB male connector of the USB device cable to your PC USB port.
(3) Turn on your PF809M device, and then plug the smaller connector of USB device
cable to the PF809M USB DEVICE/HOST port.
(5)The system detects the new hardware and installs the driver for it automatically.
(6)Upon the driver installation is nished, the device is ready to use. If you would like
to make sure whether the device has properly be installed your computer, please
double-click [My computer].
(7) Removable disks[H:] [I:] [J:] [K:][L:]appear on [My computer] (Removable disk [H:]
[I:] [J:] [K:][L:]represents the memory of memory card such as CF/SD/MMC/Xd/MS
and internal memory).
(8) Downloading les:you can download les to internal memory to operation.

First Time Powered ON Mode Message Prompt and User Preferences
The sample is not in the state of factory setting, the greeting is like this:
When you power ON the PF809M for
the rst time or after doing a factory
setting reset , you will be asked to dene
the user settings (Auto Start Slideshow & Auto
Demo le preferences). These settings will
allow you to have the PF809M automatically
start a slideshow when powered ON.

Setting Options:
Auto Slide - Slideshow of the installed memory card will be shown automatically
when device is turned ON.
Menu List - The device will not doing Slideshow function when device is turn on and
will display "Main Menu", As shown in the diagram:
Use the / / / navigation buttons to move through the selections and
press to conrm. press" "key to back to Main Menu.
Demo images - device will display Demo image when device is turn on
Choose “Photo” from the Main menu to enter the Photo Digest/Playback menu,
First you must select an available memory device from the device list.

Then Use the / / / navigation buttons to move through the selections
and press to conrm. Then it will enter the photo digest browser , Shown in the
diagram:

1. If you select a folder in the File Menu, the File Menu will open the selected
folderand display all of the les inside. Use to the previous level.
2. If you select any le displayed in the File Menu, the picture frame will display
this photo and the Function Bar will pop up while you press . Use / to
navigate the Function Bar functions. Use to conrm selection. Use to start
slide show from selected photo.
NOTE: If the Auto Start feature in the SLIDESHOW SETUP menu is set to
ON, the playback of all photo les at power up will begin .

A. Slide show: Starts/Resumes Slideshow based on Slideshow Settings in Setup.
B. Stop: Stop and return to previous menu
C. Rotate: Rotate current photo clockwise.
D. Zoom: Zoom in 2X, 3X, 4X and 5X Zoom Modes. Use buttons to scroll after
zooming into the photo.
E. Pervious: Previous photo.
F. Next: Next photo.
G. Photo ID: Show photo properties.
H. Thumbnail: Go to thumbnail digest. (There are 20 small pictures in one screen)
I.Transcode:Copy current photo to internal memory (you must set photo transcoding
"ON“ in SETUP menu, please refer to 3-8 SETUP for more details)
*Attention:Internal memory got up to 500 pictures with transcoding.
3-2 Music
Choose “Music” in the menu to enter the device selection interface to choose an
available memory device from the device list and then enter le browser.
Use the / navigation buttons to move through the selections and press
to play. Press / adjust the music volume. As shown in the diagram:

3-3 PHOTO & MUSIC
Choose “PHOTO&MUSIC” in the Main menu to enter the device selection interface to
choose an available memory device from the device list and then enter le browser.
Use the / navigation buttons to move through the photo or music les and
press to play. Press / adjust the music volume.

While playing a le, Press button to access the action buttons, including:
a. Play/Pause
b. Stop:Stop and return to previous menu
c. Previous :Skip to previous track during playback of music

I. Repeat Mode: Press to select music playback repeat mode

3-4 MOVIE
Choose “Movie” in the menu to enter the device selection interface to choose an
available memory device from the device list and then enter le. Use the /
navigation buttons to move through the selections and press to play. as shown in
the diagram:
While playing movie, press / adjust
the movie volume.

subtitle , then screen will display "NO Subtitles"

available memory device from the device list and then enter le browser, as
shown in the diagram:
3-5 FILES

COPY/PASTE :Use the / navigation buttons to move through the source
le and press to mark les for copy, then press return to Memory Device
selection,select and enter the destination memory device and le folder, the press
