SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Please do not disassemble the printer. Read this manual before operating the printer.
• Turn off the power immediately if a malfunction occurs. Remove the charging cable and battery immediately if the printer or
charging cable begins to emit smoke or smell.
• Do not use the printer at gas stations or near ammable objects.
• Do not touch the print head after printing as it is still hot afterwards.
• Please use original ribbons to ensure good print quality and long service life of the device.
• Please charge the printer regularly if it is not in use for a long time so that the battery does not suffer.
• Make sure the printer is turned off before removing the battery.
MAINTENANCE
• Cleaning the exterior and label compartment: Gently wipe the exterior of the printer and the interior of the label compartment
with a cloth dampened with water.
• Clean the printhead: Clean the printhead regularly, especially when the print quality deteriorates.
Clean the smooth part of the print roll with 100% ethanol by gently wiping it with a cotton swab.

INSERT FOIL TAPE
Open the label cover (1) on the top of the LabelMax MP1 and insert the foil tape (2) into the device. Slide the side guide up to the
foil tape to ensure a straight run of the material. Please make sure that the (foil) side to be printed is at the bottom. (3). Now push
the foil in the guides against the feed roll until you notice a resistance. Next, press the „Feed“ key to feed the material (4).

Check that the ribbon is tight and has no wrinkles. Make sure the locking lever on the bottom of the LabelMax MP1 is set to

TURN IT ON
Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device,
turn on the LabelMax MP1 (press „Power“ button for 3 seconds)

Start the SignMax MP app.
Now you can design and print the label as you wish on the tablet!

AUTO STANDBY
The printer automatically turns off when inactive. The preset time for this is 15 minutes.
The time can be changed in the printer menu.
MENU
Press the printer‘s power button briey. A small gear wheel is now shown in the left side of the display. Press the
feed button to switch the corresponding options.
POWERBANK FUNCTION
The printer can charge external devices such as a smartphone or tablet with 5V (500 mA) power.
