Introductie
Bedankt voor het aanschaffen van dit Maxima product. Deze instructies dienen volledig gelezen
te worden voordat u dit product gaat installeren of gebruiken. Op deze manier kunt u optimaal
van dit product gebruik maken.
Uw nieuwe Maxima product is geproduceerd met geavanceerde productietechnieken. Elk product
wordt voor verzending geïnspecteerd en getest om veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid te kunnen
waarborgen. Alle parameters voldoen volgens de nationale standaarden.
De Maxima blast chiller kunt u gebruiken voor het snelkoelen of -vriezen van allerlei gerechten en
producten. Dit apparaat is heel goed te gebruiken voor het koelen van hete producten naar een
lage temperatuur of invriezen. Met een blast chiller kunt u producten op een gecontroleerde
manier laten afkoelen. Dankzij de thermische shock wordt vermeerdering van bacteriën tegen
gegaan, zonder de eigenschappen en de kwaliteit van het ingevroren product te beïnvloeden.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
•Het apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor het werd ontworpen.
De fabrikant aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg van
onjuiste bediening en verkeerd gebruik.
•Onjuiste bediening en verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat kan ernstige schade aan het
apparaat en verwonding van personen tot gevolg hebben.
•Zorg dat het apparaat en de stekker niet met water of een andere vloeistof in aanraking
komen.
•Mocht het apparaat onverhoopt in het water vallen, trek dan onmiddellijk de stekker uit
het stopcontact en laat het apparaat controleren door een erkend vakman. Het niet
navolgen van dit advies kan levensgevaar opleveren.
•Probeer nooit zelf de behuizing van het apparaat te openen.
•Steek geen voorwerpen in de behuizing van het apparaat.
•Plaats het apparaat nooit op de zijkant of ondersteboven, ook niet met eventueel
transport. Kantel het apparaat niet onder een hoek die groter is dan 45°.
•Raak de stekker niet met natte of vochtige handen aan.
•Controleer stekker en snoer regelmatig op eventuele beschadiging. Indien stekker of
snoer beschadigd is, laat de reparatie bij een erkend bedrijf uitvoeren.
•Gebruik het apparaat niet nadat het is gevallen of op andere wijze beschadigd is. Laat
het bij een erkend reparatiebedrijf controleren en zo nodig repareren.

•Probeer het apparaat niet zelf te repareren. Dit kan levensgevaar opleveren.
•Zorg dat het snoer niet met scherpe of hete voorwerpen in aanraking komt en houdt het
uit de buurt van open vuur. Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact wilt trekken, pak dan altijd
de stekker zelf beet en trek nooit aan het snoer.
•LET OP! Gebruik geen verlengsnoer, maar sluit het apparaat rechtstreeks op het
stopcontact aan.
•Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het snelkoelen of -vriezen van voedsel.
•Plaats geen objecten op het apparaat tijdens gebruik.
•Houdt het apparaat tijdens gebruik steeds in de gaten.
•Laat kinderen nooit zonder toezicht in de buurt van het apparaat spelen.
•Gebruik het apparaat nooit buitenhuis.
•Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt en telkens
voordat het wordt schoongemaakt.
•De elektrische aansluitingen moeten voldoen aan de hiervoor bestemde richtlijnen.
•Gevaar! Zo lang de stekker in het stopcontact zit, staat het apparaat onder netspanning.
•Schakel het apparaat uit, voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekt.
•Draag het apparaat nooit aan het snoer.
•Leun niet op de deur van het apparaat.
•Voorkom overbelasting.
Voorbereiding voor eerste ingebruikname
•Controleer of het apparaat niet beschadigd is. Neem in geval van beschadiging
onmiddellijk contact op met uw leverancier en gebruik het apparaat NIET.
•Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
•LET OP! Vergeet niet het zelfklevende laagje van het apparaat te verwijderen.
•Plaats het apparaat waterpas op een stabiele ondergrond om te voorkomen dat deze valt
en brandwonden aanricht.
•Plaats het apparaat zo, dat er een ruimte tussen de zijwanden en de muren of andere
voorwerpen een ruimte van minimaal 10 cm is.
•Plaats het apparaat niet direct naast bronnen die warmte uitstralen (bijvoorbeeld
gasfornuis of verwarming).
•Plaats het apparaat zo, dat de stekker te allen tijde vrij en bereikbaar is.
•Maak voor het eerste gebruik het apparaat van binnen en buiten schoon met een zacht,
vochtig doekje (water met mild reinigingsmiddel). Droog het apparaat na het
schoonmaken.

•LET OP! Gebruik geen agressieve of bijtende reinigingsmiddelen. Gebruik ook geen
benzine houdende of oplosmiddelen gebruiken. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in het
apparaat komt.
•Laat het apparaat tenminste 24 uur staan na plaatsing voordat u de stekker in het
stopcontact steekt en het apparaat in gebruik neemt.
•Volg de stappen die aangegeven worden in het volgende hoofdstuk ‘Bediening’.
Bediening
•Steek de stekker in een geaard stopcontact.
•Controleer of de rails binnen de blast chiller correct gemonteerd zijn.
•Vervolgens kiest u de gewenste temperatuur en kunt u ervoor kiezen de timer in te
stellen.
•TIP! Wij adviseren u om vooraf de blast chiller aan te zetten voor het daadwerkelijke
gebruik.
•Plaats uw container in de blast chiller en sluit de deur.
•LET OP! Plaats geen producten in de blast chiller die warmer zijn dan 70°C.
•LET OP! Plaats warme niet containers direct op de bodem van het apparaat, maar op de
hiervoor bestemde rails.
•LET OP! Plaats geen ontvlambare of explosieve producten in de blast chiller.
•TIP! De producten die u in de blast chiller wilt zetten, worden geadviseerd niet te lang
bewaard te zijn bij kamertemperatuur. Hoe meer vocht het product verliest, hoe minder
mogelijkheden er zijn om het product op de juiste manier te bewaren.
•TIP! Plaats geen warme producten in een uitgeschakelde blast chiller.
•TIP! Wij adviseren u om het afdekken van de containers (ook niet met isolatiefolie) te
vermijden, omdat u het beste resultaat en de beste tijden bereikt bij een zo groot mogelijk
oppervlak.
•TIP! Plaats de producten niet geheel binnen tegen de achterwand, maar laat een ruimte
van 5-10 cm.
•Voor snelkoelen geldt dat een product van 70°C gekoeld kan worden naar 3°C binnen 90
minuten. Dit geldt voor een maximum van 20 Kg aan product voor de BLC 5 en 40 Kg
voor de BLC 10.
•Voor snelvriezen geldt dat een product van 70°C gekoeld kan worden naar -18°C binnen
240 minuten. Dit geldt voor een maximum van 15 kilo aan product voor de BLC 5 en 28
Kg voor de BLC 10.
Reiniging en onderhoud
•LET OP! Voordat u het apparaat gaat reinigen, dan wel ter reparatie stelt, altijd eerst de
stekker uit het stopcontact verwijderen.
•Steek nooit binnen 10 minuten van verwijdering de stekker in het stopcontact.

•Regelmatig dient gecontroleerd te worden of de voedingskabel niet is beschadigd,
wanneer deze beschadigd is, is het niet toegestaan het apparaat te gebruiken. De kabel
dient vervangen te worden door de leverancier of een gekwalificeerde elektricien.
•Het reinigen van de condensator dient regelmatig uitgevoerd te worden. De concensator
bevindt zich achter het paneel op de achterzijde van de machine. Verwijder de
schroeven, maak met een kwast de condenstor schoon (stof verwijderen) en plaats het
paneel terug.
•LET OP! De condensator dient minimaal eens per maand gereinigd te worden.
•Eventueel ander onderhoud- en reparatiewerkzaamheden mogen alleen door
gekwalificeerde vaklui worden uitgevoerd met gebruikmaking van originele onderdelen en
accessoires.
•LET OP! Probeer nooit zelf het apparaat te repareren.
•LET OP! Nooit het apparaat, dan wel de stekker, in water of een andere vloeistof
onderdompelen.
•De binnen- en buitenkant van het apparaat maakt u schoon met een zacht, vochtig
doekje (water met mild reinigingsmiddel). Droog het apparaat na het schoonmaken.
•Aan de binnenkant van de deur is een tussenlaag welke verwijderd kan worden. Laat
deze gedurende 30 minuten in een bak warm (niet kokend) water met mild
reinigingsmiddel schoonweken.
•LET OP! De tussenlaag dient correct teruggeplaats te worden om de werking van het
apparaat te garanderen.
•LET OP! Gebruik geen agressieve of bijtende reinigingsmiddelen. Gebruik ook geen
benzinehoudende of oplosmiddelen. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in het apparaat komt.

Opslag
•Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat op de juiste manier is schoongemaakt voordat u het
opslaat.
•Rol het snoer op en stop het netjes weg.
•Berg het apparaat op in een droge en koele plaats.
Garantie
Hartelijk bedankt dat u onze producten gebruikt. Ons bedrijf hanteert bepalingen zoals
beschreven in onze "Algemene Voorwaarden", en geven u ondersteuning wanneer u een factuur
kunt overleggen.
Wij verlenen 12 maanden garantie na aankoopdatum. In de garantieperiode is ons bedrijf
verantwoordelijk voor onderdelen onder garantie in geval van materiaalfouten, fabricagefouten of
kwaliteitsproblemen. Alleen bij correct gebruik en orginele onderdelen.
De volgende zaken vallen niet onder de garantie:
1. Schade als gevolg van transport, installatie of verkeerde aansluitingen.
2. Component schade veroorzaakt door verkeerde elektrische- of water aansluiting.
3. Schade als gevolg van demontage of aanpassingen aan het orginele apparaat, zonder
toestemming.
4. Schade als gevolg van verkeerd gebruik, slechte reiniging of ondeskundig onderhoud.
5. Schade als gevolg van brand, instorting, blikseminslag, wateroverlast, spanningspieken,
ongedierte en andere vergelijkbare gebeurtenissen.
6. Het niet lezen of volgen van de gebruikershandleiding.
7. Verbruiksonderdelen en aan slijtage onderhevige onderdelen.
8. Aangepaste factuur of geen factuur.
Afdanken
•Aan het einde van de levensduur, het apparaat afdanken volgens de op dat moment
geldende voorschriften en richtlijnen.

Thank you for purchasing this Maxima product. In order to obtain the maximum benefit and use of
this product, please read these instructions completely before attempting to install or use this
product.
Your new Maxima product is manufactured with advanced production techniques. Every product
is inspected before shipment and tested to ensure operator safety and product quality. All
parameters have reached or exceeded the national standard.
The Maxima Blast Chiller can be used to cool or freeze different food products. The machine is
safe, stable and easy-to-use. This appliance can be used to cool a product down or freeze a
product in a very short time. Special about the blast chiller is that you can cool down products in a
controlled manner. Thanks to the thermal shock the multiply of bacteria will be prevented, without
losing the quality of cooled down or frozen products. All parts in contact with food are made of
stainless steel or food grade plastics.

Safety regulations
•Incorrect operation and improper use of the appliance can seriously damage the
appliance and injure users.
•The appliance may only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and designed.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and
improper use.
•This appliance may only be used to cool down or freeze warm food products.
•Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and any other liquids. In the
unlikely event that the appliance should fall into water, immediately pull the plug out of
the socket and have the appliance checked by a certified technician. Not following
these instructions could give rise to life-threatening situations.
•Never try to open the casing of the appliance yourself.
•Do not insert any objects in the casing of the appliance.
•Do not place any objects on top of the appliance.
•Do not place the appliance on its side or upside down, also not while the appliance is
being transported. Do not turn the appliance in an angle of more than 45°.
•Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
•Regularly check the plug and cord for any damage. When the plug or cord is damaged,
you should have it repaired by a certified repair company.

•Do not use the appliance after it has fallen or is damaged in any other way. Have it
checked and repaired by a certified repair company.
•Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. This could give rise to life-threatening
situations.
•Make sure the cord does not come in contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away
from open fire. To pull the plug out of the socket, always pull on the plug and not on the
cord.
•Make sure that no one can accidentally pull the cord loose or trip over the cord.
•Always keep an eye on the appliance when in use.
•Never let children use appliances without supervision.
•Always pull the plug out of the socket when the appliance is not being used and always
before cleaning.
•Warning! As long as the plug is in the socket the appliance is connected to the power
source.
•Turn off the appliance before pulling the plug out of the socket.
•Never carry the appliance by the cord.
•Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied along with the appliance.
•Turn off the appliance after use by removing the plug from the socket.
•The electrical installation must satisfy the applicable national and local regulations.
Preparations before using for the first time
•Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact your
supplier immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
•Remove all the packing material.
•Warning! Do not forget to remove the adhesive film from the appliance.
•Place the appliance in the middle of a steady place and level the appliance.
•Make sure the appliance is not placed next to any sources that radiate heat (for example
a heater, stove or oven).
•Make sure the appliance is placed 10 cm from every other object or walls.
•Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
•Clean the appliance and parts with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.
•Follow the steps in chapter ‘Operation’.
Operation
•Plug the appliance into the main socket.

•WARNING! Let the appliance stand in its new environment for at least 24 hours before
plugging in the socket.
•Control whether the rails within the blast chiller are placed correctly.
•Next you can choose the desired temperature and set the timer.
•Suggestion! We advise you to turn on the appliance before actual usage.
•Place your container in the blast chiller and close the door.
•Warning! Do not place products in the blast chiller with a higher temperature than 70ºC.
•Warning! Do not place warm containers directly on the bottom of the appliance, place
them in the rails.
•Warning! Do not place flammable or explosive products in the blast chiller.
•Suggestion! It is advised not to store the products that you want to put in the blast chiller
for a long time out in the open. The more moisture gets lost, the less we can guarantee
the products to be saved the right way.
•Suggestion! Do not place warm products in a turned off blast chiller.
•Suggestion! We advise you not to cover the containers (also not with foil). The best
result and time will be reached when the biggest possible surface is available.
•Suggestion! Do not place products completely against the back of the appliance, leave a
space of 5 –10 cm.
•Cooling a product from 70°C to 3°C is possible in 90 minutes. This applies for a
maximum of 20 Kg placed in the BLC 5 and a maximum of 40 Kg in the BLC 10.
•Freezing a product from 70°C to -18°C is possible in 240 minutes. This applies for a
maximum of 15 Kg placed in the BLC 5 and a maximum of 28 Kg in the BLC 10.
•When the appliance is not being used for a longer time, please remove the plug from the
main socket.
Cleaning and maintenance
•Always remove the plug from the socket before any cleaning or maintenance is being
done to the appliance.
•Never plug the appliance again in the socket within 10 minutes of removing.
•The condenser needs to be cleaned on regular base. The condenser is located at the
back of the appliance underneath the back panel. You can remove the panel carefully by
unscrewing the screws. You can clean the condenser by using a brush (clean away all
dust) and replace the back panel when you are done.
•Warning! The condenser needs to be cleaned at least once per month.
•Any other maintenance underneath the back panel should be performed by a certified
maintenance worker with usage of the original spare parts.
•We advise you to clean the appliance daily.

•Clean the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent). Dry the appliance after
cleaning.
•The parts of the appliance can cleaned in warm water with soap (mild detergent). Do not
put parts in the dishwasher, these detergents might be too aggressive.
•On the inside of the door is a layer which can be removed. Let this layer lay in warm
water (not cooking water) for 30 minutes with soap (mild detergent). Afterwards dry it with
a dry cloth and replace.
•Warning! The layer needs to be placed back in the correct way after removing, otherwise
a good working machine cannot be guaranteed.

Thank you for using our products, our company will follow related provisions from our "Algemene
Voorwaarden", and provide you services when you can show us the invoice.
We provide 12-month warranty from the date of purchase (invoice date). In the warranty period,
our company is responsible for free parts if there is a device fault or quality problem of spare
parts under correct operation.
The following does not belong to free services:
1. Damages result from transportation, installation, improper connections.
2. Component damages caused by failing to provide power and voltage as required in technical
data.

3. Damages caused by disassembling products, adjust or change the mechanical and electrical
structures without permission.
4. Damages caused by improper operation, cleaning and maintenance.
5. Non-man-made damage, such as damages from abnormal voltage, fire, building collapse,
lightning, floods and other natural disasters, and damages from rats and other pests.
6. Failure in following the manual when operating.
7. Wearable and expendable parts.
8. Altered invoice or without invoice.
Discarding
•When discarding the appliance at the end of its useful life, please observe the regulations
and guidelines in force at that time.
