OHRPOLSTER
EAR PADS

from outside noise without affecting wearer comfort over long

Eine Spezialität von MB QUART: Eine neuartige Schwenk- und Arretie-
rungsmechanik lässt den unzerbrechlichen Mikrofonarm jede ge-

Darüber hinaus ist ein hochwertiger Mikroschalter integriert, der das
Mikrofon im oberen Schwenkbereich des Mikrofonarms zuverlässig
abschaltet.
A specialty from MB QUART: a new type of unbreakable boom
that can rotate the microphone into any desired position – left or
right. In addition to this, a high-quality mic switch has been inte-
grated which is capable of reliably turning off the microphone in
the boom’s upper operating range.

Die asymmetrischen Mikrofone (Dynamisch und Elektret) der 800er-
Serie sind grundsätzlich in Nierenbauweise hergestellt und zeichnen
sich durch eine hervorragende Rückwärtsdämpfung aus. Der hoch-
wirksame Wind- bzw. Poppschutz ist hier im Gehäuse integriert. Die
Mikrofone der 900er-Serie hingegen sind grundsätzlich symmetrisch
ausgeführt. Der aufgesetzte halbkugelförmige Windschutz bietet
optimale Eigenschaften trotz der kleinen Außenabmessungen. Als
Mikrofoncharakteristik stehen eine dynamische Kapsel in Nieren-
und ein Studio-Kondensator in Hypernierenbauweise (bei dem 900
SC) zur Auswahl. Generell sind alle MB QUART Mikrofone für eine
Nahbesprechung konzipiert.
The unbalanced microphones (dynamic and electret) on the 800
series are solely designed as cardioids and feature excellent front-
to-back ratios. The highly effective windscreen is integrated inside
the mic head. Mics on the 900 series are generally balanced. The
dynamic microphones are all designed as cardioids, apart from
the 900 SC in which a hyper-cardioid studio condenser is used.
All MB QUART microphones are especially developed for near
field use. In spite of the small dimensions the hemispherical wind-
screen gives optimal results.

Nahezu unzerstörbar sind die Gehäuse der 800er-/805er- und 900er-
Serie aus einem speziellen, besonders robusten PE-Material. Selbst
unter härtesten Bedingungen – beispielsweise beim Einsatz im Sprach-
labor – nehmen sie keinen Schaden und beweisen ihre Zuverlässigkeit
und Langlebigkeit. Das Gehäuse kann mit handelsüblichen Haus-
haltsmitteln problemlos gereinigt werden und lässt sich darüber
hinaus vollständig recyceln.
The housings for the 800/805 and 900 series are made of a spe-
cial extremely durable PE material. Even under the harshest con-
ditions – e.g. in language labs – they demonstrate their reliability
and user durability by remaining undamaged. The exterior can be
cleaned with normal detergents and is completely recyclable.

QP 450QP 805 DEMO
POS-Ausführung für den Handel.

Mechanisch entspricht dieses Modell dem QP 805 HS,
wurde jedoch den Anforderungen am POS angepasst.
So bestehen die Ohrpolster bei diesem Modell aus
einer weichen, hautfreundlichen Schaumfolie, die
sich leicht mit handelsüblichen Haushaltsreinigern
säubern lässt. System und Kabel sind speziell für
den Dauereinsatz ausgelegt.
Mechanically speaking this model is identical to
the QP 805 HS. But it has been adapted for POS
requirements. As a result, the ear pads are made
of a foam that is soft to the touch and can be
easily cleaned with normal household detergents.

The MBK 900 SC has been specifically designed and developed as
an ON-AIR headset for live performances and sporting events where
high audio quality, reliability, and comfort are of prime importance.
Nahezu unzerstörbares Gehäuse und Mikrofonarm aus speziellem,
robustem PE-Material. Spezielle Ohrpolster sorgen für eine gute Außen-
geräuschdämpfung ohne Verlust an Tragekomfort. Das symmetrische
Studio-Elektret-Mikrofon in Hypernierenbauweise verfügt über einen
exzellenten Frequenzgang, eine hervorragende Rückwärtsdämpfung und
einen hochwirksamen Windschutz. Der unzerbrechliche Mikrofonarm
kann durch neue Schwenk- und Arretierungsmechanik jede gewünschte
Stellung – sowohl links als auch rechts – einnehmen. Ein hochwertiger
Mikroschalter mit vergoldeten Kontakten schaltet das Mikrofon im obe-

The virtually indestructible housings and microphone booms are
made of a special flexible PE material. Unique ear cushions provide
comfort and low ear fatigue – even in environments with a high
noise level. The symmetrical hyper cardioid studio electret micro-
phone features an excellent frequency response, a superb front-to-
back ratio, and a highly efficient windscreen. The unbreakable mic-
rophone boom with its newly developed pivoting assembly can be
adjusted to any position as a right or left hand headset. A gold-
plated micro-switch shuts the microphone noiselessly OFF or ON
whenever the boom is swung up to the left or right. To operate the
headset a phantom 12–48 V power supply according to DIN 45596
is needed for the microphone. The earphone elements have specially
contoured wide bandwidth frequency response. They are highly sen-
sitive and can be adapted for music monitoring by simply substitu-
ting the serial ear pads with those used on the MBK 900 E. The
headset cable features lavish screened cords to prevent cross-talking
effects and allows any wiring application your studio may call for.

aller Versionen reine Nahbesprechungsmikrofone in Acht-Charakteristik und
daher auch bei hohem Außenschall verwendbar. Das Mikrofon des Modells
LK 700 ist ein magnetisches Mikrofon und kann wie ein dynamisches Mikro-
fon (ohne Spannungsversorgung) verwendet werden. Die Mikrofone der
Modelle LK 702 (2-Draht) und LK 703 (3-Draht) benötigen eine Speise-
spannung von ca. 1,3–10 V. Das magnetische Hörerelement dieser LK-Serie
wurde speziell für den Sprachbereich ausgelegt und verfügt über eine sehr
hohe Empfindlichkeit von max. 120 dB bei 1 Khz.

boom can be individually adjusted and the additional head bow guar-
antees stable fit. An extra clothing clip prevents tugging. Housings and
microphone boom can be easily cleaned using normal household deter-
gents. And the windscreen can be easily replaced. Special attention
has been paid to acoustic performance. So all microphones are noise-
canceling near-field versions, designed for high ambient noise. The
microphone of the LK 700 is a magnetic type and can be operated like
a dynamic microphone (no power supply required). The microphones
of the LK 702 (2-wire) and the LK 703 (3-wire) require a 1.3–10 V
power supply. The magnetic earpiece of all LK headsets is especially
designed for speech and features a maximum sensitivity of 120 dB
with 1 kHz.

Wandler enthält einen Kopfhörer-Ausgangsverstärker mit digitalem
Equalizer, der optimal auf das Hörer-System abgestimmt ist, und einen
Hochleistungsmikrofoneingang für das Mikrofon. Zusätzliche analoge
PC-Soundkarten und Stromversorgungen sind daher überflüssig.
As a result of popular demand a new PC model with USB plug was
developed based on the successful 800 series. Integrated into the
plug is a sound adaptor with a D/A and A/D converter. It includes
a headphone amplifier with digital equalizer optimized to the head-
phone and a high performance microphone amplifier. Additional
analog sound cards or power supplies are not necessary.
