MA6300 integrated amplifier
legendary
The MA6300 is the latest integrated amplifier, rich with all the premium technologies that
McIntosh is famous for including Power Assurance System and Silent Electromagnetic
Switching. With 100 watts per channel at 8-Ohms and 160 watts into 4-Ohm loads, the
MA6300 can effortlessly power virtually any speaker from one of seven source selections:
CD1, CD2, Tuner, Phono, Tape, TV and DVD.
Featured in the MA6300 is a dedicated, high performance headphone amplifier boasting
low noise, extended frequency response and featuring ample gain to drive the finest quality
headphones to life-like levels. A robust ¼” front panel jack is easily accessible and provides
for years of personal listening enjoyment.
A pair of distinctive “blue eyes” output meters highlights the Fiber-Optic Illuminated Glass
front panel from which the controls for Balance, Volume, Mute, Standby/On, and the seven
Source Selection Buttons are all readily accessible. A turn on delay prevents annoying pops
or thumps while protecting loudspeakers.
Only McIntosh can combine two basic audio components into a single instrument and still
retain traditional McIntosh performance, quality and reliability. The MA6300 provides all of
this in a more compact, space saving configuration. Those considering a McIntosh system
for the first time will find the MA6300 a very comfortable place to start.
