SAFETY WARNINGS
• Theinstallation,electricalconnection,operatingtestandmaintenance
must only be carried out by a qualied operator.
• Install the product in compliance with the laws and regulations in
force.
• Onlyusethefuelrecommendedbythemanufacturer.Theproductmustnotbe
usedasanincinerator.
• Itisstrictlyforbiddentousealcohol,petrol,liquidfuelforlanterns,diesel,bio-
ethanol,uidsforlightingcharcoalorsimilarliquidstolight/rekindletheame
in these devices. Keep these ammable liquids well away from the appliance
wheninuse.
• Donotputanyfuelotherthanwoodpelletsinthehopper.
• The instructions provided in this manual must always be complied with to
ensure the product and any electronic appliances connected to it are used
correctlyandtopreventaccidents.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge provided they are supervised or have
been given instructions regarding use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and maintenance to be performed by the user
must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Theuser,orwhoeverisoperatingtheproduct,mustreadandfullyunderstand
thecontentsofthisinstallationguidebeforeperforminganyoperation.
• Theusercanonlymakeasignicantcontributiontotheeco-friendlyoperation
of the heat generator if all requirements set out in the operating instructions

• The product maintenance operations must be exclusively carried out by a
qualiedoperatoronayearlybasis.
• A non-compliant or improper/lack of maintenance of the product can cause
hazardoussituationsand/orirregularoperation.
• The manufacturer is relieved of any civil and criminal liability for damage
causedbyimproperuseand/ormodication/tamperingwiththeproductand/
oritsaccessory.
• We do not recommend waiting for the parts to get worn out before having
themreplaced.
• Onlyuseoriginalspareparts.Theretailer,servicecentreorqualiedpersonnel
canprovideallnecessaryinformationregardingspareparts.
• Many surfaces of the product get very hot (door, handle, glass, smoke outlet
pipes, etc.). Avoid coming into contact with these parts without
adequate protective clothing or suitable equipment, such as gloves
with thermal protection or “cold handle”operating systems.
• It is forbidden to operate the product with the door open or the glass
broken. During operation, all the doors provided on the product must
remain closed, with the exception of the one on the hopper which can
be opened temporarily and only for the time required for topping up
the fuel.
• The doors/covers on the appliance must remain closed when it is not
being used.
• Theproductmustbeelectricallyconnectedtoaproperlyearthedsystem.
• Switchtheproductointheeventofafaultormalfunction.
• Accumulated unburnt pellets in the brazier after each“failed ignition”
or abnormal emptying of the pellet hopper must be completely
removed before lighting again. Always check that the brazier is clean
and positioned properly before lighting the product again.

• Do not allow the product to come into contact with water, it contains live
electricalparts.
• Donotwashtheproductwithwater(orotherliquids)astheycouldpenetrate
insidetheunit,damagingtheelectricalinsulationwiththeriskofelectrocution.
• Donotusedetergentstowashthestove,theycoulddamagetheaestheticparts
oftheproduct.
• Donotstandforalongtimeinfrontoftheproductinoperation.Donotoverheat
the room you are in and where the product is installed.This may harm one’s
physicalconditionsandcausehealthproblems.
• Install the product in rooms that do not pose a re hazard and are equipped
withpowerandairsuppliesandsmokeoutlets.
• Inthe event ofrein thechimney,turn othe device,disconnect itfromthe
mains and do not open the door whatsoever. Then contact the competent
authorities.
• The product and the cladding must be stored in a dry place and must not be
exposedtoweathering.
• It is recommended not to remove the feet that support the product in order
toensureadequateinsulation,especiallyiftheooringis madeofammable
materials.
• Assessthestaticconditionsofthesurfaceonwhichtheweightoftheproduct
willrestandprovidesuitableinsulationifitismadeofammablematerial(e.g.
wood,ttedcarpetorplastic).
• Intheeventofamalfunctionoftheignitionsystem,donotforceitonbyusing
ammablematerials.
• It is forbidden to manually load the fuel into the brazier. Failure to
follow this warning can lead to hazardous situations.

• Thesoundpressurelevelofthisappliancedoesnotexceed70dB(A).
• Live electrical parts: only power the product once it has been fully
assembled.
• Disconnecttheproduct fromthe230Vpowersupplybeforeperforming
any maintenance operations. The plug must be removed in such a way
that an operator can verify from any point to which he/she has access,
that the plug remains unplugged.

• Havethesmokeoutletsystemperiodicallycheckedandcleaned
• Theproductisnotacookingappliance.
• Alwayskeepthecoverofthefuelhopperclosed.
• Storethisinstallationandusermanualwithcareasitmustaccompanytheproductforthedurationofitsusefullife.Iftheproductis
soldortransferredtoanotheruser,alwaysensurethemanualisalsohandedover.
INTENDED USE
Theproductonlyworkswithwoodpelletsandmustbeinstalledinsidearoom.
PRODUCT PERFORMANCE CHECKS.
All our products undergo ITTTESTS carried out by a notied third party laboratory (system 3) and in accordance with Regulation (EU)
number305/2011“Constructionproducts”,accordingtostandardEN14785:2006forhouseholdappliancesand“MachineryDirective”EN
303-5forboilers.
Inthecaseoftestsforanymarketsurveillanceorinspectionsbythirdparties,pleaseconsiderthefollowingwarnings:
• Toreachthedeclaredperformancelevels,theproductmustperformanoperatingcycleofatleast15-20hoursbeforehand.
• Settheaveragedraughtofthecombustionfumesasspeciedinthe“technicalproductfeatures”table
• ThetypeofpelletsusedmustcomplywiththecurrentENISO17225-2classA1regulation.Firpelletsareusuallyusedforcertication.
• Theamountofthermalenergycanvaryaccordingtothelengthand caloricvalueofthefuel.Thismayrequiresomeadjustments
(accessedfromtheusermenu)tocomplywiththehourlyconsumptionspeciedinthe“technicalproductfeatures”table.Usingclass
A1pelletsguaranteesacaloricvaluethatislikelytobeclosetothatusedintheproductcertication;thesizeofthepelletgrainscan
signicantlyaecthourlyfuelloadingandconsequentlyperformance;itisthereforesuggestedtousepelletswitha6mmdiameter
andanaveragelengthofaround24mm(avoidpelletsthataretoolongorexcessivelycrushed).
• Withwood-burningappliances,thefuelmustcomplywiththecurrentENISO17225-5classA1regulation.Checkthecorrectmoisture
ofthefuel,asitmustbewithintherangeof12-20%(itisbestifthemoistureiscloseto12%,asisnormallyusedincertication).As
thefuelmoistureincreases,dierentcombustionairsettingsarerequired,whichareimplementedfromthecombustionairregister,
therebymodifyingthemixtureofprimaryandsecondaryair
• Itisimportanttochecktheoperationofdevicesthatcanaectperformance(forexampleairfansorelectricsafetydevices)incase
ofdamageduetohandling.
• Nominalperformancehasbeenobtainedbysettingthemaximumamepowerandroomventilationinmanual mode.
Performanceatreducedpowerwasachievedatminimumameandventilationpower(P1andV1)inmanualmode.
Theotherconditionscorrespondtointermediateventilationandpower.
• If a“verication”mode is provided in the menu, set this function during the readings to ensure that no temperature modulation
occursduetoanincorrectsettingoftheoperatingparameters.
• Lastly,strictlycomplywiththesamplingpointsspeciedintheregulationsintermsofemissionsaswellastemperature

Information for management of waste electrical and electronic equipment containing batteries and
accumulators
Thissymbolappearsontheproduct,onthebatteries,ontheaccumulatorsorontheirpackagingorontheirdocumentation;itindicates
thattheproductandthebatteriesortheaccumulatorsincludedmustnotbecollected,recycledordisposedofwithhouseholdwasteat
theendoftheirservicelife.
Improper management of waste electrical and electronic equipment, batteries or accumulators can cause the hazardous substances
containedwithintoleakout.Inordertoavoidharmingtheenvironmentorhealth,theuserisrequiredtoseparatethisequipment,and/
orthebatteriesoraccumulatorsincluded,fromothertypesofwasteanddeliverthem tothelocalcollectioncentre.Thedistributorcan
be asked to collect the waste electrical and electronic equipment under the conditions and according to the procedures laid down by
LegislativeDecree49/2014.
Separate collection and correct treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators contribute to
conservingnaturalresources,respectfortheenvironmentandensuretheprotectionofhealth.

Our solid bio-combustible products, (hereinafter called“Products”) are designed and manufactured in compliance with one of the
followingEuropeanstandardharmonisedtoRegulation(UE)no.305/2011forconstructionproducts:

EN 13240:“Roomheatersredbysolidfuel.”
EN 13229:“Insetappliancesincludingopenresredbysolidfuels”
EN 12815:“Residentialcookersredbysolidfuel”
TheproductsalsocomplywiththeessentialrequirementsofDirective2009/125/EC (Eco Design) and,whereapplicable,Directives:
2014/35/EU (LVD-LowVoltagedirective)
2014/30/EU (EMC-ElectromagneticCompatibilitydirective)
2014/53/EU (RED–RadioEquipmentdirective)
2011/65/EU (ROhS)
Havingspeciedtheabove,wehighlightandreportthat:
• This manual and technical data sheet, also available on our website, bearallofthespecicindicationsandnecessaryand
essentialinformationtochoosetheproduct,toinstallitcorrectlyandtoproperlysizethesmokeexpulsionsystem;
• theProductsmustbeinstalled, controlled and serviced byaqualiedoperator,accordingtotheinstructionsinthismanualand
incompliancewiththelawsandinstallationandmaintenancestandardsinforceinindividualcountries,soastoprovideanecient

operatingconditionoftheproduct.Wefurthermorepointoutthattheseoperatingconditionsincreasetheriskofprematurewearof
theproduct,especiallythosepartsexposedtothedirectheatofthere(e.g.combustionchamber),theoriginalconditionofwhich
canundergomodicationsanddeteriorationwhich,amongotherthings,couldgeneratenoiseduringoperationoftheunitdueto
mechanicalexpansion.
Themanufacturerwillnotbeheldliableiftheaboveinformationisignored.

The instructions in this chapter refer explicitly to the Italian installation regulation UNI 10683. In any case,
always observe the regulations in force in the country of installation.
PELLETS
The pellet is obtained from natural dried wood sawdust (without paint). The compactness of the material is guaranteed by the lignin
containedinthewooditself,withoutglueorbinders.
Themarketoersdierenttypesofpelletswithcharacteristicsthatvaryaccordingtothewoodmixtures.Themostcommondiameteron
themarketis6mm(although8mmdiameterisalsoavailable)withalength,onaverage,between3and40mm.Agoodqualitypellet
hasadensityofbetween600and750ormorekg/cubicmetresandamoisturecontentthataccountsfor5to8%ofitsweight.
Pellets have technical advantages besides being an ecological fuel, as the wood residue is used completely, thereby achieving cleaner
combustionthanthatoffossilfuels.
Whilegood-qualitywoodhasacaloricvalueof4.4kW/kg(15%moisture,afterabout18monthsofseasoning),thatofpelletsisaround
4.9kW/kg.Toensuregoodcombustion,thepelletsmustbestoredinadryplaceandprotectedfromdirt.Pelletsareusuallysuppliedin15
kgbags,therefore,storingthemisveryconvenient.
Goodqualitypelletsguaranteegoodcombustion,therebydecreasingharmfulemissionsintotheatmosphere.
The poorer the quality of the fuel, the more often the internal parts of the brazier and combustion chamber need to
be cleaned.
The main quality certications for pellets currently available on the European market guarantee that the fuel complies with class A1/
A2accordingtoISO17225-2.Thesecerticationsinclude,forexample,ENPlus,DINplus,Ö-NormM7135,andspecicallyassurethatthe
followingcharacteristicsarecompliedwith:
• caloricvalue:4.6-5.3kWh/kg.
• Watercontent:≤10%oftheweight.
• Percentageofash:max1.2%oftheweight(A1lessthan0.7%).
• Diameter:6±1/8±1mm.
• Length:3-40mm.
• Content:100%untreatedwoodwithouttheadditionofbindingagents.
The company recommends using certied fuel for its products (ENPlus A1, DINplus, Ö-Norm M7135).
The use of pellets that do not comply with the characteristics specied previously may compromise the operation of
your product and therefore invalidate the warranty and product liability.

FOREWORD
The heating system (generator + combustion air supply + combustion product expulsion system + any hydraulic/aeraulic
system) must be installed in compliance with the laws and regulations in force1, and carried out by a qualied technician,
who must issue a declaration of conformity of the system to the system manager and shall undertake full responsibility
for nal installation and consequent good operation of the product.
Themanufacturerdeclines allresponsibilityin theeventofinstallations thatdonotcomply withthe lawsandregulationsinforceand
inappropriateuseoftheappliance.
Inparticularonemustensurethat:
• theenvironmentissuitableforinstallingtheappliance(oorload-bearingcapacity,presenceorpossibilityofcreatinganadequate
electrical/hydrauic/aeraulicsystemwhenrequired,volumecompatiblewiththeappliancecharacteristics,etc.);
• theapplianceisconnectedtoasmokeexpulsionsystemcorrectlysizedaccordingtoEN13384-1,whichisresistanttosootreand
whichcomplieswiththedistancesprescribedbythecombustiblematerialsindicatedontheplatedata;
• thereisasuitablecombustionairowtotheappliance;
• othercombustionappliancesorextractiondevicesinstalleddonotcauseanegativepressureofmorethan4Paintheroomwhere
theproduct isinstalled comparedtotheoutside (onlysealed appliancesarealloweda maximumof15Paofnegativepressurein
theroom).

In particular, it is recommended to strictly observe the safety distances from combustible materials to avoid serious harm
to people and to the integrity of the home.
Installationoftheappliancemustensureeasyaccesstoservicetheapplianceitself,thesmokechannelsandtheue.
Alwaysmaintainadequatedistanceandprotectioninordertopreventtheproductfromcomingintocontactwithwater.
It is forbidden to install the stove in rooms with a re hazard.
With the exception of sealed installations, it is also forbidden for liquid fuel appliances with continuous or intermittent
operation that draw the combustion air from the room they are installed in or B-type gas heating appliances, with or
without the production of domestic hot water, to coexist in the same room or in interconnecting rooms.
Sealed installation means that the product is certied as sealed and its installation (ducting of the combustion air
and connection to the chimney) is airtight with respect to the installation environment.
Asealedinstallationdoesnotconsumetheroom’soxygenbutdrawsalltheairfromtheouterenvironment(ifsuitablyducted)andmakes
itpossible toinstallthe product,therefore, itcan beinstalled inall housesthatrequireahigh degreeof insulationsuchas“passive”or
“highenergyeciency”houses.Thankstothistechnologythereisnoriskofsmokeemissionsintheroom,hencenoairinletsandrelevant
ventilationgrillesarerequiredintheinstallationpremises.
Consequently, therewillbe nomoredraughtsof coldairin theroom,which wouldotherwise makeitless comfortableand reducethe
overalleciency ofthesystem.Thesealed stovemayevenbeinstalled ina sealedinstallationthat iscompatiblewith thepresenceof
forcedventilationorinpremisesthatmighthavenegativepressurewithrespecttotheoutside.

Iftheoorismadeofcombustiblematerial,useaprotectionmadeofnon-combustiblematerial(steel,glass...)thatalsoprotectsthefront
fromanyfallingcombustedmaterialduringcleaningoperations.

Installthestovealsodetachedfromanynon-combustiblewalls/surfaces,observingaminimumclearanceof200mm(back)and200mm
(side)toalloweectiveaerationoftheapplianceandagooddistributionofheatintheroom.

Inanycase,ensureadequatedistancetofacilitateaccessduringcleaningandextraordinarymaintenance.Ifthisisnotpossible,itmust
stillbepossibletodistancetheproductfromadjacentwalls/elements.
Thisoperation1mustbeperformedbyatechnicianqualiedtodisconnectthecombustionproductexpulsionductsandtheirsubsequent
restoration.
For generators connected to the hydraulic system, a connection must be provided between the system itself and the product so that,
during extraordinary maintenance, carried out by a qualied technician, it is possible to move the generator 1by at least 50 cm from
adjacentwallswithoutemptyingthesystem(e.g.byusingadoubleshut-ogateorsuitableexibleconnection).

Air inlet
Itismandatorytoprovideanadequateexternalairinletthatsuppliesthecombustionairrequiredfortheproducttoworkproperly.The
ow of air between the outside and the installation room can take place with a free air inlet or by channelling the air directly to the
outside3.
Thefreeairinletmust:
• bemadeatoorlevel
• alwaysbeprotectedwithanoutergrilleandinsuchawaythatitcannotbeobstructedbyanyobject
• haveaminimumtotalfreeareaof80cm2(netofthegrille)
Thepresenceofothersuctiondevices(e.g.:vmc,electricfanforstaleair extraction,kitchenhood,otherstoves, etc.),inthesameroom
could cause negative pressure in the room. In this case, with the exception of sealed installations, one must verify that, with all the
equipmenton, nomorethan 4Paof negative pressureiscreatedinsidethe installationroomwith respectto theoutside.If necessary,
increasetheairinletsection.

Preparing the smoke expulsion system
The combustion product expulsion system is a particularly important element for the proper operation of the appliance and must be
correctlysizedaccordingtoEN13384-1.
Itscreation/adaptation/vericationmust alwaysbecarriedoutbya legallyqualiedoperatorandmustcomplywith theregulationsin
forceinthecountrywheretheapplianceisinstalled.
TheManufacturerdeclinesallliabilityformalfunctionscausedbyabadlysizedandnon-compliantsmokeexpulsionsystem.
Smoke duct (smoke tting)
Thesmokeductisthepipethatconnectstheappliancetotheue.
Thissmokettingmustcomplyinparticularwiththefollowingrequirements:
• complywithproductstandardEN1856-2;
• its cross-section must be of constant diameter and no less than that of the appliance outlet, from the rebox outlet up to the
connectionintheue;
• thehorizontalsectionmustbeasshortaspossibleandextendnomorethan4metres;
• thehorizontalsectionsmusthaveaminimumupwardslopeof3%;
• changesofdirectionmusthaveananglenogreaterthan90°andbeeasytoinspect
• thenumberofchangesofdirection,includingthatforentryintotheue,andexclusionoftheTintheeventofasideorrearoutlet,
mustnotexceed3;
• itmustbeinsulatedifitpassesoutsidetheinstallationroom
• itmustnotinanycasecrossroomsinwhichitisforbiddentoinstallcombustionappliances.
• theuseofexiblemetalandbrecementoraluminiumhosesisforbidden;
Inanycase,smokeductsmustbesealedagainstcombustionproductsandanycondensation.Forthisreason,itis recommendedtouse
pipeswithsiliconegasketsorsimilarsealingdevicesthatwithstandtheoperatingtemperaturesoftheappliance(e.g.T200P1)andthat
byremovingthegaskets,arestillT400N1Gcertied.
Flue (chimney or piped duct)
Whencreatingtheue,inparticularcomplywiththefollowingrequirements:
• complywiththeapplicableproductstandard(EN1856,EN1857EN1457,EN1806,EN13063..);
• bemadewithsuitablematerialstoensureresistancetonormalmechanical,chemical,thermalstressesandhaveadequatethermal
insulationinordertolimittheformationofcondensate;
• haveapredominantlyverticalcongurationandbefreeofchokepointsalongitsentirelength;
• becorrectlyspacedbyairgapsandisolatedfromcombustiblematerials;
• the ue inside the house must still be insulated and can be inserted in an air shaft provided it complies with the regulations for
piping;
• thesmokeductmustbeconnectedtotheuebymeansofaTeettingwithaninspectablecollectionchamberforthecollectionof
sootandanycondensate.
• wherethesizingprovidesforwetoperation,asuitablecondensatecollectionandsiphondischargesystemmustbesetup.
We recommend checking the data plates of the ue for the safety distances that must be observed in the presence of
combustible materials and, if necessary, the type of insulating material to be used.
It is forbidden to connect the stove to a collective or shared ue (*) with other combustion appliances or with hood
outlets.
It is forbidden to use the direct drain on the wall or towards indoor spaces and any other form of drain not provided
for by the regulation in force in the country of installation.

Chimneypot
Thechimneypot,meaningtheendpartoftheue,mustmeetthefollowingcharacteristics:
• thesmokeoutletsectionmustbeatleastdoubletheinternalsectionofthechimney;
• preventthepenetrationofrainorsnow;
• ensuretheoutletofsmokeevenintheeventofwind(windproofchimneypot);
• theheightofoutowmustbebeyondthereuxarea(*)(refertonationalregulationstoidentifythereuxarea);
• alwaysbebuiltatadistancefromantennasordishes,andneverbeusedasasupport.
(*) unless there are specic national derogations (clearly specied in the corresponding instruction manual in English) which under
appropriate conditions allow it; in this case, strictly follow the product/installation requirements of the relative regulations/technical
