The MedPro Defense Assura Electrostatic Sprayer has been designed to be safe during proper
operation. Certain safety precautions should be taken.
Please read the following before operating.
FAILURE TO PROPERLY FOLLOW THESE INTRUCTIONS MAY LEAD TO A FIRE, EXPLOSION, OR
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING – When using battery powered devices, please follow these basic precautions:
Read all instructions before using the sprayer.
Supervision is recommended to reduce the risk of injury.
Electrical Safety
To avoid electrical shock do not touch or insert any objects into the nozzle.
Do not use the sprayer near any bystanders.
Do not use sprayer near children.
Do not touch or come in contact with moving parts.
Do not put sprayer tip in water or other liquid.
Do not place or store sprayer where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Do not operate cordless sprayer in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases, or dust. Cordless sprayers create sparks, which may ignite the dust or fumes.
Do not use any charger other than the one supplied by the manufacturer to charge the device.

WARNING: This machine contains an electrostatic device that may interfere with sensitive
medical devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, or similar devices. DO NOT operate this
machine or stand within 10 feet if you use such medical devices. Contact your physician prior
to operation if you are unsure if this machine will interfere with your medical device.
WARNING: Always have the sprayer serviced by a MedPro Defense qualified representative.
Do not attempt to service the sprayer or access its internal components.

Material Run Out Time (Sec)
1) Unscrew the disinfectant container from the sprayer.
2) Pour MedPro Defense approved disinfectant into container, do not to exceed 800ml.
3) Screw the disinfectant container back on.

4) Put on the electrostatic bracelet and then plug the other end into the connector.
When the bracelet is properly connected and functioning, the electrostatic mode is then enabled
automatically. A red indicator light will be lit on the left side of the sprayer when pulling the trigger.
5) Press trigger to begin disinfecting.
NOTE: If the electrostatic bracelet is not connected and engaged, the sprayer will still
function but the discharge will not have an electrostatic charge.
6) After use: Clean the sprayer thoroughly after each use. To clean the sprayer, use soap, water and a
damp cloth to wipe clean. Disconnect the battery from the sprayer for storage to reduce the risk of
accidental spraying.

VIII Warning!
Never point the sprayer at another person or animal. In the event of an injury,
seek immediate medical attention.
Do not use any other solution other than MedPro Defense disinfectants approved for use in
commercial sprayers.
You must clean the sprayer thoroughly after each use.
Do not use a sprayer that is damaged in any way.
Do not alter the sprayer by adding or removing parts.

Do not restrict the sprayer pump.
Do not touch or modify the sprayer nozzle.
Do not allow untrained individuals to operate the sprayer, unattended.
Do not stand in water or hold over water while operating the sprayer.
Do not use outdoors in the rain.
Do not use sprayer if the trigger does not turn it on or off. A sprayer that cannot be controlled with
the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect battery from the sprayer before making any adjustments, refilling the tank or storing
the sprayer. This will reduce the risk of the sprayer accidentally powering on.
Store the sprayer out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Electrostatic sprayers are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
