Please read this manual carefully before installing your equipment and retain it for future reference.
Model: GE0410 & GE0610 & GE0810
This manual contains important instructions for the installation and maintenance of the GE series
ESS. GE series ESS are designed for meet all Chinese and International safety standards.However,
like all electrical and electronic equipment, safety precations must be observed and followed during
installation and operation of the GE series equipment to reduce the risk of personal injury and to
ensure a safe installation.
Installation, service, and maintenance of GE series equipment must only be performed by qualified
person who are licensed and/or satisfy state and local jurisdiction regulations.
Before starting installation of GE series equipment, please read through the entire manual and note
all precautionary statements.

Confirm the installation materials

Confirm the bottom slave GL48100C address is 1000 (ON-OFF-OFF-OFF)
Install two GL48100C wall-mounting brackets on top of it.
Move the bottom GL48100C to the wall, check the distance between the wall and bottom GL48100C
is 4cm. Use a marker pen to mark the four mounting-hole positions. Cover this GL48100C by a fabric
to avoid any drilling dust. Use a hammer-drill to drill the four holes.Please use 9mm drilling bit.

Connect the BPN & BPP & BNC & BAT- & wake-up cable. Then put them to the back of bottom
GL48100C. Connect the bottom GL48100C communication back-up cable to RS485 port. Keep
another end empty for future service purpose.
Confirm the top master GL48100C address is 0000 (OFFF-OFF-OFF-OFF)
Install two GL48100C wall-mounting brackets on top of it.

Move the top GL48100C on top of bottom GL48100C, check the distance between the wall and
bottom GL48100C is 4cm. Use a marker pen to mark the four mounting-hole positions.
Cover two GL48100C by a fabric to avoid any drilling dust. Use a hammer-drill to drill the four holes.
Please refer the left diagram to connect the top
master GL48100C cables.Please keep the
communcation back-up cable in the gap between
top & bottom GL48100C.

Refer this diagram to confirm the power module wall-mounting bracket’s two drilling holes. Use a
marker pen to mark the 2 mounting-hole positions. Cover the two GL48100C by a fabric to avoid any
drilling dust. Use a hammer-drill to drill two holes.Install the power module wall-mounting bracket to
the wall.
Use a measuring tape along the two
side of the GE0810/GE0610, draw
two straight lines perpendicular to
the ground 1575mm.
draw two straight lines parallel to
the ground 42mm. Now the drilling
positions are confirmed.

Insert the two power module wall-mounting hanging brackets into the power module’s back.
Lift up the power module and put it on top of
the master GL48100C.Tighten the two screws
of the wall-hanging & mounting brackets.

The power module is heavy. Please be
careful when you lift it up.

Please make sure all screws are well
tightened. All cables are well connected
into their ports. This is crucial for whole
system’s performance.

Pull the two circuit breakers up and press the power button down to power on GE0410/GE0610/
GE0810.
Check the two GL48100C SOC indicators, there
should be no red alarm. The GL48100C should
have around 50% electricity remaining.
Check the six power module indicators,ONLY
NETWORK indicator should blink red.

Power off the GE0810/GE0610.
Install the GL48100C support frame and three front cover by order. Install the middle cover at last.
