Note: To load more pairs of bags, repeat steps 1 and 2. A batch can be run with 1 to 4 tests loaded, but the
pairs must be loaded in order, starting with Pair #1.

●Scan the barcode of the Gray Post Ingestion Breath Sample Bag.
●On the top panel of the device, insert the Gray Post Ingestion Breath Sample Bag into the lower port for Pair #1.
If the matching LED is lit green, the bag was inserted correctly and the image of the bag on the screen will
change to gray with the barcode number listed below.
●Ensure both LEDs are lit after properly inserting the bags in their corresponding sample ports on top panel of
the device.
●Make sure instrument status is “Ready” before loading a batch.
●On the screen, a flashing cursor on Pair #1 indicates the first patient sample is ready to be scanned.
●Scan the barcode of the Blue Baseline Breath Sample Bag.
●On the top panel of the device, insert the Blue Baseline Breath Sample Bag into the upper port for
Pair #1.
●If the matching LED is lit green, the bag was inserted correctly and the image of the bag on the screen will
change to blue with the barcode number listed below.

●Press Start
●The Status changes to “Running” and the barcodes become hidden. Pair #1 is analyzed first and an indicator
spins until the batch is completed.
●After Pair #1 is analyzed, the result is displayed, and Pair #2 analysis begins. The remaining pairs of bags are
analyzed the same way.

●To print control barcode labels, press the barcode printer icon at the bottom left corner of the screen before
pressing Continue.
●Choose the tests you want to use as controls and place one label on each bag. Be sure the labels correspond
with the correct test according to the pair number.
●Replace the bag caps and store for future use as controls.
●After the last pair has been analyzed the screen will display “Remove bags and press Continue”. Once this is
completed, the system will automatically prepare for the next batch.
