
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS UFO TEMPORARY - FORD TRANSIT
• Picture 1 Unscrew and remove the torx screw that fixes the rear door lock, right side (see point P1).
• Picture 2 See the performed operation.
• Picture 3 Screw the supplied stud A5 into the door lock to prevent that, after unscrewing the fasteners,
the lock could go out of position from the fixing arrangement. Then unscrew and remove the two torx
screws that fix the lock (see point P2).
• Picture 4 See the performed operation.
• Picture 5 Place the plate A1 in the housing of the stud A5 in correspondence with the fixing holes of the
lock (see picture).
• Picture 6 Fix the plate with the two supplied torx pins A6 and leave them not completely tightened for
final adjustment (see picture). Then unscrew the stud.
• Picture 7 See the performed operation.
• Picture 8 Screw the supplied A6 torx pin into the bracket hole (see picture). Then tighten the three torx
screws of the lock.
• Picture 9 Unscrew the two torx screws that fix the hook on the rear door, left side (see point P3).
• Picture 10 See the performed operation.
• Picture 11 Place the supplied A2 plate in correspondence with the hook fixing holes. Check when fixing
the plate, that the gasket does not remain pressed between the door and the plate edges (see point P4).
• Picture 12 Check that the holes in plate A2 matched with the interaxis distance of the hook fixing holes
(see point P5).
• Picture 13 Fix the hook on the plate using the original pins, leaving them not completely tightened for
final adjustment (see point P6).
• Picture 14 Bring near the doors and make sure that the two plates are aligned (see point P7). Finally,
tighten the screws of the hook on the left door.
• Picture 15 see the completed assembly of the Temporary on the rear doors.
• Picture 16 Unscrew and remove the torx screw that fixes the right sliding door lock (see point P8).
• Picture 17 See the performed operation.
• Picture 18 Screw the supplied stud A5 into the sliding door lock to prevent that, after unscrewing the
fasteners, the lock could go out of position from the fixing arrangement. Then unscrew and remove the
two torx screws that fix the lock (see point P9).
• Picture 19 See the performed operation.
• Picture 20 Place the plate A3 in the housing of the stud A5 in correspondence with the fixing holes of the
lock (see picture).
• Picture 21 Fix the plate with the two supplied torx pins A6 and leave them not completely tightened for
final adjustment (see picture). Then unscrew the stud.
• Picture 22 See the operation.
• Picture 23 Screw the supplied A6 torx screw into the hooks of the plate (see picture). Finally tighten the
three screws torx of the lock.
• Picture 24 Unscrew and remove the two torx screws of the bumper (see point P10).
• Picture 25 See the performed operation. Finally remove the rivet from side panel of the sliding door to
prevent it from bumping under the fixing plate A7.
• Picture 26 See the performed operation.
• Picture 27 Replace the bumper with the the supplied A7 plate with the A9 pins. Then fix the bamper on
the A7 plate with the A8 pins (see picture). Place the felt A10 (see position on the picture).
• Picture 28 Unscrew the torx screws that fix the hook on the pillar (see point P12).
• Picture 29 See the performed operation.
• Picture 30 Overlap the hook to the plate. Fix it with the original screws, leaving them not completely
tightened for final adjustment (see point P13).
• Picture 31 Close the tailgate and check that the two plates are aligned (see point P14). Finally, tighten
the screws of the hook on the pillar.
