1.0 Introduction
The HDMI™ to HDMI™ + Audio converter allows you to extract audio signal from any HDMI™ source.
Ideal for splitting the audio out of a HDMI™ device to a digital surround sound system, or to analog
speaker system. Another use is to extract audio when connecting to a display monitor without
built-in speakers.

6.0 Connection and Operation
Note:
1) When input with LPCM 5.1CH Surround Sound Signal and the switch button isswitched to 2CH
audio, the converter will output 2CH audio for Toslink, 3.5mm audio and HDMI ports.
2) When input with 5.1CH Surround Sound Signal and the switch button isswitched to 5.1CH audio,
the converter will output 5.1CH audio for Toslink and HDMI ports, 3.5mm audio port will be non-
usable.
3) When input with 2CH audio, all ports will output 2CH audio.
4) When the button isswitched toPASS audio, the output audio channel will bedetermined bythe
supported audio channel ofHDMI Display.
5) The output ofthe sound will bedetermined based onthe audio format supported bythe sound
system
