Setting up your Zebra LP2824

Plug in the Adaptor cable to the Zebra Printer.
1. Plug the printer`s A1436 BT dongle into your PAT TESTER either the
MI 3311 Gamma Pat or the MI 3309 Delta Pat.
2. Turn the PAT TESTER ON.
It is recommended to
reset the printer`s
A1436 BT dongle
before proceeding
with further steps.
A1436 BT dongle
can be reset by
holding the Reset for
at least 10 seconds
as shown on the
right picture.
3. Use the UP / DOWN keys to select SETUP.
4. Enter SETUP menu using TEST button and move down to
COMMUNICATION.

5. Enter to COMMUNICATION menu (TEST button).
6. Select COM PORT and set to BT DONGLE using TEST button.
7. Select PRINTER and set to ZEBRA BT using TEST button.
8. Move down to INIT. BT DONGLE (PRN) and press TEST button.
(Make sure that printer`s BT Dongle is plugged to the instrument).
9. Plug instrument`s BT Dongle to the instrument and initialized printer`s
BT Dongle to the Zebra printer.

BT dongle can be
reset by holding the
Reset for at least 10
seconds as shown on
the right picture.
10.Select INIT. BT DONGLE option and press TEST button.
11.Select PRN NAME and press TEST button. Make sure that Zebra BT
printer is ON and printer`s BT Dongle is connected.
12.A list of available BT devices will be displayed. Select ZebraPRN and
press TEST button to confirm.

13.If everything is set right, COMMUNICATION screen should look exactly
like figure bellow.
14.You are now ready to use Zebra LP2824 printer.
