Originating from the Japanese tea ceremony, which overtime found its way to the north
Japanese shermen utilizing this method to keep food hot while out at sea for long periods.
The evolution of the Robatayaki has brought it into the modern kitchen, where chefs pre-
pare the food and display their showmanship in front of diners allowing them to take part in
the entire cooking experience.
The Mibrasa® Robatayaki is manufactured with steels of the latest technology following the
most rigorous quality controls. Like all Mibrasa®units, they comply to the strict standards
& regulations set by internationally recognised certications of quality.
Our Robatayakis
A multi-tier open charcoal grill equipped with accessories to perform a range of cooking tech-
niques using grills, Teppanyaki hot plates or skewers. Robata grilling lends itself to an array of
foods from meat, sh, seafood and vegetables, imparting light smoky aromas and avours we
seek in grill cooking.

7. Maintenance and safety standards
7.1. Daily cleaning
Do not use chemical products or water to clean the inside of the Robatayaki.
Grills: Clean using the grill brush before and after each use.
Ash collector:
Open the ash collector, use the ash shovel by Mibrasa
®
to remove the ash and
transfer to a metal container with a tight-tted lid. We recommend completely removing the
ash collector from the Robatayaki once a week to facilitate cleaning. Once the ashes have
completely cooled down they can be disposed of or used as fertilizer.
WARNING Do not dispose the ashes in a ammable-container or heat-deformable container.
7.2. Special care
Exhaust hood: It is very important to keep the exhaust hood lters clean to avoid a build
up of soot, fat and creosote1,which could result in a possible re.
Mibrasa®is not responsible for any damages occurred caused by wrongful use, when the in-
stallation instructions have not been followed or wrongful maintenance of the exhaust hood.
1 Creosote – Formation and need for removal. When wood is burned slowly, it produces tar and other organic vapors
that combine with expelled moisture to form creosote. The creosote vapors condense in a relatively cool oven ue
and exhaust hood of a slow burning re. As a result, creosote residue accumulates on the ue lining and exhaust
hood. When ignited, this creosote makes an extremely hot re. The oven ue should be inspected at least twice a
year to determine when creosote buildup has occurred. When creosote has accumulated, it should be removed to
reduce risk of re.

7.3. Safety standards
WARNINGS
• WARNING Do not pack required air spaces with insulation or other materials.
• Only use charcoal in the Mibrasa® Robatayaki.
• The rst time the Robatayaki is used do not cook food for at least one hour after lighting.
• Proceed with reasonable care when operating a Mibrasa® Robatayaki. Never leave it
unattended when lit.
• CAUTION Do not overload/re. Consult the charcoal loads in the chart in point 5. When
ames spill out, you are over-ring.
• Disposal of ashes – Ashes should be placed in a metal container with a tight-tting lid.
The closed container of ashes should be placed on a non-combustible oor or on the
ground, well away from all combustible materials, pending nal disposal. When the ash-
es are disposed by burial in soil or otherwise locally dispersed, they should be retained
in the closed container until all cinders have thoroughly cooled.
• Do not attempt to pour water over the hot coals.
• Do not clean the Robatayaki when it is in operation or st hot.
• Do not use chemical products to clean the exterior of the Robatayaki when in use or hot.
DANGERS
• When this Robatayaki is not properly installed, a re may result. To reduce the risk of
re, follow the installation instructions.
• Keep children and pets away from the oven and ammable products. Accessible parts
of the Robatayaki may be very hot.
• Never use gasoline, gasoline-type lantern fuel, kerosene, charcoal lighter uid, or
similar liquids to start or ‘freshen up’ a re in this grill. Keep all such liquids well away
from the grill when in use.
• In the case of installing the Robatayaki in an outdoor setting, do not cover it with any
type of protective cover or inammable material when it is in operation or hot.
• Review the restrictions of point 4.1 on minimum distances from combustible materials.

8. General conditions
8.1. Warranty
• All Mibrasa® Robatayaki have a 2-year warranty against any manufacturing defect.
• The customer will be responsible for the installation, ne-tuning and maintenance of
the goods.
• The warranty is void of:
(I) damage caused by misuse or poor product installation,
(II) where the buyer or third party has started repairs, modications or adjustments
without the prior consent of Mibrasa®,
(III) those defects not immediately notied within the warranty period stated above,
(IV) those defects or damage due to negligence not attributable to Mibrasa®, or an
accident, misuse, improper installation, mishandling or abnormal conditions of
temperature, humidity or dirt,
(VI) that have become damaged through no fault of Mibrasa®.
8.2. Returns
• All goods must be returned in the original condition.
• All returns must be notied in writing, and must be conrmed by our sales department.
• All returns must reach Mibrasa®prepaid. Returned material must enclose the invoice
and delivery note number.
• Returns of goods will only be accepted in its original packaging, unused and in re-sellable
condition. Returned goods that are used, obsolete or worn out will not be considered under
warranty and a credit note will not be issued.
• For all returned goods, there will be a 10% fee of the refund amount to cover deprecia-
tion, demerit and administrative tasks.
8.3. Property Reserve
• Mibrasa®retains title to the goods to the total amount of the price integrity.
• Mibrasa®reserves the right to change their products and prices without notice.

L’origine du Robatayaki vient des anciens pêcheurs du nord du Japon, qui inventèrent cet
appareil pour cuisiner et lutter contre le froid durant leurs longues traversées. Son adapta-
tion à la cuisine moderne fait de lui un élément de cuisson très attractif où le chef cuisine
face aux convives comme un véritable show.
Le Robatayaki Mibrasa®est fabriqué avec des aciers de dernière technologie et suivant des
contrôles rigoureux de qualité, comme tous les équipements Mibrasa® , qui répondent aux
exigences des normes de sécurité internationales.
Nos Robatayaki
Inspirés par l’ancienne technique de cuisine japonaise Robatayaki, souvent abrégée et con-
nue sous le nom de “Robata”, nous avons créé un grill ouvert alimenté au charbon avec
différents niveaux de cuisson et divers accessoires pour élaborer tous types d’aliments
comme la viande, du poisson ou les légumes, cuisinés sous forme de brochettes directe-
ment sur la braise, la grille ou la plaque Teppanyaki.
Le Robatayaki Mibrasa®RM SE incorpore un système d’élévation dessiné et breveté par
Mibrasa®qui permet d’adapter à souhait la distance entre la grille et la braise. Le cuisinier
peut ainsi contrôler la cuisson des aliments avec beaucoup plus d’efcacité.
