Operation Guide
Carefully read this manual in full before using this electric
blanket
•Location and Use
Use the blanket as an under blanket only. This blanket is
designed for domestic use only. This blanket is not intended for
medical use in hospitals.

•Fitting
The Wool Electric Blanket has a deep 45cm wall, fitted with
robust elastic, which helps to keep the blanket securely fixed in
place during the night, plus, this design feature makes it easier
for you to fit and remove from your bed.
Remove any promotional material and all packaging from the
electric blanket.
Ensure the size of the blanket is suitable for the size of the bed.
(A queen blanket should never be used on a king/double/single
bed)
Follow the instructions below for fitting; it is important that you
DO NOT tuck in the wires of the electric blanket.
1. Lay the electric blanket on top of your mattress, so
that the 45cm elastic wall is visible and the controllers
are underneath the blanket, and fed through the fitted
wall at the pillow end of your bed. Ensure the blanket
does not hang over the sides of the bed and the
heating wires are kept clear of the pillow section.
2. Smooth out any folds or creases, and then secure the
fitted elastic wall to each of the four corners and the
sides of the mattress. Pull on the edges of the blanket
to ensure that it sits flat and level on the mattress.
3. Once the electric blanket has been correctly fitted to
your bed, you can make your bed as normal.
NOTE: DO NOT COVER THE CONTROLLER; ALWAYS
ENSURE THAT IT IS UNCOVERED.
•Operation
Dual controls are available for the Queen and King sized electric
blankets. This allows you to control the temperature on each
side of the bed and provide individual comfort.
The blanket can be set to work from 1 to 12 Hours and from
16ºC to 60ºC.
Note! The timer has no 10 or 11 hour setting and operates from
1 to 9 and then 12 (H) setting only.
Plug the supply cord and plug into a suitable power outlet and
switch on.
1. Switch the blanket power on by pressing the ON/OFF
switch to the ON (I) position.

2. The temperature setting will be displayed on the
screen to the left.
3. The timer setting will be displayed on the screen to
the right.
4. Adjust the temperature setting by pressing the
temperature button. 1 being the lowest and 9 being
the highest.
5. Press the timer button to adjust the timer settings.
The timer will jump from 9 hours to H setting (12
hours). The blanket will heat for the selected time
period.
•Specific Electric Blanket Warnings
Ensure that you know how the electric blanket functions and
how to operate it.
Maintain the electric blanket in accordance with the instructions
to ensure that it functions properly.
Keep this manual with the electric blanket. If the electric blanket
is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be
supplied with it.
The safety instructions do not by themselves eliminate any
danger completely and proper accident prevention measures
must always be used.
Warning! No liability can be accepted for any damage caused
by non -compliance with these instructions or any other
improper use or mishandling.
Warning! Do not use this electric blanket if it has been
damaged in any way, if it is wet or moist or if the supply cord is
damaged. Return it immediately to the retailer. Electric blankets
should be checked annually for electrical safety in order to limit
the risk of electric shock or fire.
Warning! The blanket should not be used on an adjustable bed.
Warning Do not use the electric blanket folded. Do not use the
electric blanket rucked. Avoid creasing the blanket. Do not
insert pins into the electric blanket. Do not use this electric
blanket if it is wet or has suffered water splashes.
Warning Do not use this electric blanket with an infant or child,
or any other person insensitive to heat. Do not use with a
helpless or incapacitated person or any person suffering from
medical illness such as high blood circulation, diabetes or high
skin sensitivity.
Warning Avoid extended use of this electric blanket at a high
setting. This may result in skin burns.
Warning Avoid creasing the blanket. Examine the blanket
frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs
or if the appliance has been misused, return it to the supplier
prior to any further use.
Warning This electric blanket is not intended for use in
hospitals.
Warning Do not use this electric blanket on or under any
waterbed or mechanically adjustable type of bed such as a bunk
or sofa bed. Check to ensure that the controller and supply cord
cannot become trapped in any bed or bedding. Keep controller
outside of the bedding, as much is possible.
Warning! The cord and control must be outside the bedding at
all times and away from other heat sources such as heating and
lamps.
Warning! Do not use folded, rucked, creased or damp.
Warning! Do not sleep with the controller set to HIGH. Use
HIGH setting only to pre heat the bed then reduce the heat
setting to minimum LOW setting overnight or preferably
switched off for safety.
Warning! Remember to switch the blanket controller to “OFF” at
the end of use and disconnect from the mains supply, do not
leave on indefinitely. There may be a risk of fire.
Warning! For added safety it is recommended that this blanket
be used with a residual current safety device (safety switch) with
a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
Warning! The appliance must be returned to the manufacturer
or his agent if the fuse/thermal link is ruptured. No serviceable
parts.
Important Safety Instructions
Warning! Children
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning safe use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Young children must be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Safely
dispose of any plastic bags or other packaging that may present
a hazard to young children of suffocation or choke hazard.
Children
This blanket is not to be used by young children unless the
controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian or unless the
child has been adequately instructed on how to operate the
controls safely.
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or
infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised by
a responsible person to ensure that they can use the appliance

safely. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
Warning! Unattended Appliances
Do not leave any appliance unattended when in use or
connected to the mains power or near children. Always unplug
any appliance when not in use for any length of time.
Safety
For household indoor use only, do not use outdoors. Not for
commercial use.
This appliance must not be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote control system.
Warning! Potential injury from misuse
Power cord
Do not abuse or damage the supply cord. If for any reason the
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid
hazard. A replaceable cord must be replaced with an authorised
replacement from an authorized service agent.
Warning! When using electric appliances always observe
safety regulations where applicable to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock and personal injury
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage
on the rating plate.
Supply
This electric blanket must be connected to a suitable 230-240 V
~ 50Hz power supply. If using an extension cord, ensure that
the extension cord is of a suitable 10-amp power rating. Fully
unwind the supply cord when in use as a coiled cord may
overheat. Warning! Always unplug from the mains supply when
not in use.
Supply cord and plug
If the supply cord or controller is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
Store
Warning! Before storage of this appliance allow it to cool down
before folding.
When not in use store your blanket and instruction manual in a
safe and dry place. Roll or gently fold the blanket. Do not
crease.
Store in a suitable protective bag for protection. Do not crease
the blanket by placing heavy items on the blanket when storing.
Before re-use after storage it is recommended that the blanket
is checked by a suitably qualified person to eliminate the risk of
fire or electric shock through a damaged blanket.
Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage.
If there are such signs or if the appliance has been misused
return it to the supplier prior to any further use for checking

Refer all servicing to qualified personal. This appliance has no
user servicing parts or requirements. Return the appliance to
the retailer if it is damaged in any way or not operating properly.
