2. Preperation
We recommend cleaning and disinfecting all components before initial use as described in section
„Cleaning and disinfection“.
1. Make sure that the power switch is switched off
(power switch in the 0 position).
2. Plug the power plug into a power outlet.
3. Connect the air tube to the nebuliser kit (A) and the device (B).
Please make sure that the tube is securely attached to both valves.
4. Remove the top of the nebuliser kit. Unscrew the cap of the nebuliser
kit by turning it in the direction of the arrow (D) and lift it off (E).

The liquid must not exceed the maximum filling level.
(min. 2 ml; max. 12 ml)
6. Screw the top of the nebuliser kit back to the medication tank.
Make sure that the nebuliser kit is kept upright after it has been filled with the medical liquid.

1. kit upright as otherwise the medical 2. to the nebuliser kit.
1. liquid may spill.
Sit upright and relax. Do not lie
down for inhalation.

Lower respiratory tract (Bronchia)
Here we recommend the use of the mouthpiece.
When you inhale the medicine through the mouthpiece the particles are taken directly to the lower
respiratory tract. Of course you can use the face mask as well, but in this case the particles do not
reach the lower respiratory tract directly, but rather just the bronchus. Therapy is not as effective
as when using the mouthpiece.
Use of the mouthpiece:
Take the mouthpiece between your lips and breathe in through your mouth, inhaling the medication.
Breathe out normally through the mouthpiece.
3. Turn the mains switch on the compressor unit to 1. The compressor
3. starts up, the nebulization process starts. The inhalation time depends
3. on the medication quantity. Always observe the medical information
3. provided by the package insert of the medication or ask your doctor or
3. pharmacist.
Central respiratory tracts (Chest/lung tract)
Here we recommend the use of the face mask as it reliably takes the medication to the bronchus.
Connect the mask to the nebuliser kit.
For donning the mask hold it between your thumb and index finger and place it over your mouth and
nose. Now pull the elastic strap of the mask over your head to fix the mask. When donning the
mask make sure that the medication tank is kept upright to prevent spilling of the liquid
Use of the face mask:
Don the mask so that it covers your nose and mouth and breathe in, inhaling the medication. Breathe
out normally through the mask.
3. Turn on the power switch of the compressor.
Upper respiratory tract (nose/throat or throat/pharynx)
For treating throat and nose we recommend the use of the nose attachment.
However, for treating rather the throat and pharynx you should use the mask.
Connect the nose attachment or mask to the nebuliser kit.
Use of the nose attachment:
Hold the nosepiece to your nose and breathe in, inhaling the medication. Breathe out normally
through your mouth.
3. Turn on the power switch of the compressor.

Switch the device off at the end of your therapy. Please check that the air tube does not
hold any moisture. If condensate has formed in the air tube, remove just the nebulizer kit
and switch the device on again. Leave it switched on and operating until the tube is dry on
the inside. If you store the tube with condensate or moisture inside, bacteria may
proliferate and cause an infection.

4. Malfunction, remedial action
The device does not start.
•Ensure that the power plug is properly connected to the power outlet (plugged in).
•Ensure that the On/Off switch is in position "1".
•The device may have switched off due to overheating. Wait for the device to cool off and switch it
on again.
The nebularisation output of the device is insufficient (nebularisation rate too low or none at all).
•Make sure that the air tube is properly connected at both ends.
•The air tube must not be damaged, compressed, bent, dirty or blocked or clogged. If necessary,
replace the air tube.
•Make sure that the nebuliser kit is properly assembled.
•Make sure that the correct quantity of inhalation solution is filled in.
•Make sure that all components are well cleaned.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
Thoroughly clean all accessories after each treatment in order to remove any medication residues and
potential dirt/contamination. The compressor and the air tube must only be cleaned on the outside
using a clean and moist cloth. We recommend to disinfect the nebuliser at least once a day.
•Always scrub your hands thoroughly before cleaning and disinfecting the accessories.
•Never expose the compressor unit to water or heat.
•If several persons use one device, each of these persons must have their own complete kit. Change
it before the treatment of a new person or replace it if it is dirty/contaminated.
Cleaning:
•Clean all nebuliser accessories (except for the air tube) for approx. 5 minutes under warm tap water
and add a bit of dishwashing liquid (max. 60 °C).
•Thoroughly rinse all components. Make sure that all deposits are removed; leave all parts to dry
completely.
•If some parts are very dirty and soiled a clean brush could be used as well.
Disinfection:
•Always disinfect the fragmented nebuliser and used components (except the air tube) after regular
cleaning. Important because only clean materials can be disinfected effectively.
•All nebuliser accessories (except for the air tube) can be cleaned using chemical disinfectants.
Please observe the instructions of the disinfectant manufacturer.
In boiling hot water:
Put the component parts of the nebuliser (except for the air tube, the masks and the compressor unit)
at least 15 minutes in boiling hot water. Use a clean pot and fill it with enough water. Plastic material
could melt while touching the hot ground of the pot.
Sterilisation:
•All nebuliser accessories (except for the air tube, the masks and the compressor unit) can be
sterilised using hot steam: up to 121 °C (20 min.) or up to 134 °C (7 min.) EN554/ISO1134.
•If available you are also able to use a thermic, usual in trade disinfection tool for baby bottles.
•After sterilisation leave all accessories to cool down to ambient temperature. They can be used
again only after having cooled down. Do not repeat the sterilisation process while the accessories
are still warm. You can order all replacement parts and accessories from your local pharmacy.
Do not repeat the sterilisation process while the accessories are still warm. You can order all
replacement parts and accessories from your local pharmacy.

Replacement of filter
•We recommend the regular replacement of the atomiser unit, the mouthpiece, the nose
attachment and the masks due to wear.
•Check the filter for contamination on a regular basis and replace it if necessary. A replacement filter
is supplied along with the device.
•To replace the filter open the air filter compartment on the top of the unit (identified with "Filter").
