Derbreitere Steckkontakt oder der zusätzliche
Erdungskontakt dient Ihrer Sicherheit. Falls das
mitgelieferte Steckerformat nicht zu Ihrer Steckdose
passt, wenden Sie sich bitte an einen Elektriker, damit die
Steckdose entsprechend ausgetauscht wird.
10. Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es vor
Tritten und scharfen Kanten geschützt ist und nicht
beschädigt werden kann. Achten Sie bitte insbesondere
im Bereich der Stecker,Verlängerungskabel und an
der Stelle, an der das Netzkabel das Gerät verlässt,
aufausreichendenSchutz.
11. Das Gerät muss jederzeit mit intaktem Schutzleiter
an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sein.

The DM12 and DM16 are classic analogue consoles with plenty of routing options,
musical EQ and the smooth, professional sound pioneered by DDA´s sister
company, Midas.
These consoles oer plenty of versatility for both studio and live applications,
and with proper care and maintenance, you can expect your DDA console to
perform faithfully for many years to come.

About this manual
This is the operation manual for the DM16 and DM12 analogue mixing consoles.
This manual is intended to help get your unit installed and in operation as quickly
as possible by giving you unpacking, installation, connection, setting up and
operating instructions. To help familiarise you with the DM16 and DM12, there is
a description of the controls, along with easy-to-follow user instructions.
2. Getting Started
This section shows you how to unpack, install, connect up, switch on and
congure the DM16/DM12 analogue mixing console.
This equipment is supplied by a mains voltage that can
cause electric shock injury.
Before installing, setting up or operating this equipment, make sure
that you have read and fully understand all of this section and the
“Important safety instructions” at the front of this manual. Refer to
additional safety information on the top cover of the unit.
Unpacking
Carefully unpack your DM16/DM12 analogue mixing console. Then, inspect the
console carefully for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit
and notify the courier immediately if you discover any.
Check the contents of your DM16/DM12 equipment package. If there are any
parts missing, incorrect or faulty, please contact your local distributor or DDA.
Please retain the original packing in case you should need to return the
equipment to the manufacturer or supplier, or transport or ship the unit later.
Installation
The position of the console will vary from venue to venue. When installing the
console, take the following into consideration:
•• Before installing and operating this Class 1 equipment, make sure it is
correctly connected to the protective earth conductor of the mains voltage
supply socket outlet through the mains lead.
•• When positioning the console for FOH (Front Of House) use it is worth
placing the console in a position where the sound system used can be heard
properly from the mix position. Try to avoid placing the console behind
pillars or large objects, or mixing from a level above the speaker position (for
example, from a balcony).
•• The console should be located in a convenient space commensurate with the
use to which the console is being put.
•• Ideally a cool area is preferred, away from power distribution equipment or
other potential sources of interference.
•• Do not install the equipment in places of poor ventilation.
•• Do not install this equipment in a location subjected to excessive heat,
dust or mechanical vibration. Allow for adequate ventilation around
the equipment, making sure that its fans and vents are not obstructed.
Whenever possible, keep the equipment out of direct sunlight.
•• Do not place the equipment in an unstable condition where it might
accidentally fall over.
•• Provision should be made for some at surface surrounding the console to
prevent people using the console as a table top.
Power
The internal power supply is of the switch mode type that automatically senses
the incoming mains voltage and will work where the nominal voltage is in the
range 100 VAC to 240 VAC.
The correct leads for connection in the area to which the unit was shipped are
supplied with the unit. The equipment should only be plugged into the mains
outlets using the supplied leads.
Make sure the plug tted on the supplied mains cable is securely tted to the
mains IEC connector on the unit. When tting or removing a plug, always hold
the plug itself and never use the cable, as this may damage the cable. Never
insert or remove an electric plug with wet hands.
Handling the equipment
When lifting or moving the equipment, always take its size and weight into
consideration. If necessary, use suitable lifting equipment or transporting gear,
or sucient additional personnel.
Completely isolate the equipment electrically and disconnect all cables from the
equipment before moving it.
Do not insert your ngers or hands in any gaps or openings on the equipment, for
example, vents.
Electric elds
In accordance with Part 15 of the FCC Rules & Regulations, “… changes or
modications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance
could void the user´s authority to operate the equipment.”
Should this product be used in an electromagnetic eld that is amplitude
modulated by an audio frequency signal (20 Hz to 20 kHz), the signal to noise
ratio may be degraded. Degradation of up to 60 dB at a frequency corresponding
to the modulation signal may be experienced under extreme conditions (3 V/m,
90% modulation).

3. Top Panel (1) MIC input connects microphones and other balanced signals using
XLR connectors.
(2) LINE input uses a ¼" TRS plug to connect either balanced or line-level
unbalanced signals.
(3) INSERT jack uses a ¼" TRS plug to bring external eects processing
(typically compression) into the channel’s signal path. This jack requires
specialised insert cables that split into two plugs (either ¼" TS or XLR) to
access the external unit’s in and out connections.
(4) GAIN knob adjusts the sensitivity of the MIC and/or LINE inputs.
(5) TREBLE knob adjusts the high frequencies.
(6) MID and FREQ knobs adjust midrange frequencies. Adjust the FREQ knob to
select the specic frequency adjusted by the MID knob.
(7) BASS knob adjusts the low frequencies.
(8) AUX 1 and AUX 2 knobs controls the amount of signal sent from each
channel to the AUX OUT jacks for monitoring or external eects processing.
Use the AUX MASTERS buttons to control whether the AUX channels send a
pre-fader signal (PRE) or a post-fader signal (POST).
(9) PAN knobs control the left-right stereo placement for each channel.
(10) PFL (Pre Fader Listen) button, when pressed, solos the channel and
sends the input signal to the MASTER METERS section for more precise
gain-setting. In PFL mode, the soloed signal routes to the MONITOR OUT
and PHONES outputs, and the PFL LED in the MASTER METERS section will
light up.
(11) PEAK LED lights when the channel signal overloads.
(12) MUTE button mutes the channel.
(13) CHANNEL FADERS control the nal level for each channel within the
overall mix.
(14) BAL knob controls the relative left-right balance for stereo signals coming in
through the STEREO 1 and STEREO 2 inputs.
(15) STEREO 1 and STEREO 2 inputs can be used to route left-right stereo
signals into the mix, such as stereo returns from external eects processors.
For mono signals, use the L (MONO) input of each pair of stereo inputs.
(16) AUX OUT jacks can be used to route AUX mixes out to external eects
processors or to stage monitors. For send-and-return eects processing, use
the STEREO 1 and STEREO 2 inputs to route the eected “wet” signals back
into the overall mix.
(17) MONITOR OUT jacks use ¼" TRS plugs to route a copy of the nal mix out
to local or studio monitors. Control the MONITOR OUT level by using the
LOCAL knob in the LOCAL MONITOR section. In PFL (Pre Fader Listen) mode,
the soloed PFL signal will override and replace the main mix signal in the
MONITOR OUT output.
(18) MASTER LEFT and MASTER RIGHT jacks use XLR connectors to send the nal
stereo mix out to monitors or the main house mix (live sound).
(19) MAIN OUT INSERT jacks use a ¼" TRS plugs to apply external eects
processing to the nal mix before the signal goes out through the MASTER
outputs (e.g., to compress the entire nal mix). This jack requires specialised
insert cables that split into two plugs (either ¼" TS or XLR) to access the
external processor’s in and out jacks.
(20) 2 TRACK uses RCA jacks to route an additional line-level stereo signal into
the main mix (MIX button) and/or the MONITOR OUT mix (MONITOR button).
Control the level of the 2 TRACK signal by using the volume control on your
stereo sound source.
(21) RECORD OUT uses RCA jacks to send a line-level copy of the nal mix signal
out to external recording devices.
(22) PHONES jack connects headphones using a ¼" TRS plug. Control the output
level by using the PHONES knob in the LOCAL MONITOR section. The PHONES
source signal comes from the main mix, except in PFL mode, when the
soloed PFL signal will override and replace the main mix signal.
(23) +48 V LED lights up to indicate that phantom power has been activated.
(24) PHANTOM POWER button turns phantom power on and o.
(25) LOCAL knob controls the output level for the MONITOR OUT jacks.
(26) PHONES knob controls the output level for the PHONES jack.
(27) AUX MASTERS buttons control the pre-fader (PRE) and post-fader (POST)
settings for the AUX 1 and AUX 2 knobs.
(28) MASTER METERS display levels for the main mix, as well as soloed channels
with the PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) function activated for detailed gain-setting.
The POW LED lights to indicate that the unit has been powered up. The PFL
LED lights up to indicate that the meter is being used for PFL gain setting.
(29) 2 TRACK MONITOR button routes the stereo 2 TRACK signal into the
MONITOR OUT mix.
(30) 2 TRACK MIX button routes the stereo 2 TRACK signal into the main mix.
(31) MIX faders adjust the overall output of the mixer at the MASTER LEFT and
MASTER RIGHT jacks.
4. Rear Panel
(32) AC IN accepts the included power cable for connection to a mains outlet.
(33) POWER ON switch turns the mixer on and o.

5. Connectors
To ensure the correct and reliable operation of the equipment, only high quality
balanced, screened, twisted pair audio cable should be used. XLR connector
shells should be of metal construction so that they provide a screen when
connected to the console/snake and, where appropriate, they should have Pin 1
connected to the cable screen.
1. Line output audio connector. Female XLR plug and male XLR chassis
connector with the following pinouts: 1 = ground; 2 = hot; and 3 = cold.
2. Mic/line input audio connector. Male XLR plug and female XLR chassis
connector with the following pinouts: 1 = ground; 2 = hot; and 3 = cold.
3. RCA connectors (2 track/record out).Male RCA plug and female RCA
chassis connector with the following pinouts: 1 = ground; 2 = signal.
4. ¼" TRS jack plug (inserts). Male ¼" TRS plug and female TRS chassis
connector with the following pinouts: 1 (tip) = send; 2 (ring) = return;
3 (sleeve) = ground.
5. ¼" TRS jack plug (input, output, phones). Male ¼" TRS plug and
female TRS chassis connector with the following pinouts: 1 (tip) = hot;
2 (ring) = cold; 3 (sleeve) = ground.

6. Operation
Basic Operation
1. Make sure the power to all devices is turned o!
2. Connect all appropriate power and audio cables to the mixer.
3. Set the controls with all knobs centered and all faders down/o.
4. Turn the mixer on.
5. Set the GAIN for each channel. (See the Gain Setting section for details.)
6. With the MAIN MIX faders and LOCAL MONITOR knobs all the way down, turn
on your PA system or monitors.
7. Slowly raise the MAIN MIX faders or LOCAL MONITOR knob to the
desired level.
8. Adjust the relative level of each channel by raising each CHANNEL FADER.
9. Adjust the left-right position of a channel in the stereo eld if necessary by
turning the channel´s PAN or BAL knob.
10. For live applications, adjust the overall output from the mixer to the power
amp or powered speakers by raising the MIX faders. If the red +10 or +16
LEDs on the MASTER METERS light, lower the MIX faders.
11. Use the AUX 1 and AUX 2 knobs to send the channel signals out to an eects
processor or stage monitor connected to the AUX OUT jacks. If used for
eects, route the signal back from the processor to the STEREO 1 or STEREO
2 inputs.
Gain Setting
1. Press the Channel 1 PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) button to solo the channel for
gain setting using the MASTER METERS. The PFL LED in the MASTER METERS
section will light up.
2. Sing, speak or play at a normal level through the microphone or instrument
connected to Channel 1.
3. While singing or playing, turn Channel 1´s GAIN control. The MASTER METERS
will display the signal level. Set the GAIN control so that the loudest peaks
reach 0 on the MASTER METERS.
4. Press the Channel 1 PFL button again to deactivate Pre-Fade Listen mode for
that channel.
5. Repeat Steps 1-4 for any other channels that will be used.

Installazione

forniti con l´unità. L´apparecchiatura deve essere collegata alle prese di corrente
solo utilizzando i cavi forniti.
Assicurarsi che la spina montata sul cavo di alimentazione in dotazione sia
saldamente ssata al connettore IEC di rete sull´unità. Quando si inserisce o si
rimuove una spina, tenere sempre la spina stessa e non utilizzare mai il cavo,
poiché ciò potrebbe danneggiare il cavo. Non inserire o rimuovere mai una spina
elettrica con le mani bagnate.
Manipolazione dell´attrezzatura
Quando si solleva o si sposta l´attrezzatura, tenere sempre in considerazione
le sue dimensioni e il suo peso. Se necessario, utilizzare un´attrezzatura
di sollevamento o attrezzatura di trasporto adeguata o personale
aggiuntivo suciente.
Isolare completamente l´apparecchiatura elettricamente e scollegare tutti i cavi
dall´apparecchiatura prima di spostarla.
Non inserire le dita o le mani negli spazi o nelle aperture dell´apparecchiatura, ad
esempio nelle prese d´aria.
Campi elettrici
In conformità con la Parte 15 delle norme e dei regolamenti FCC, "...
cambiamenti o modiche non espressamente approvati dalla parte
responsabile della conformità potrebbero invalidare l´autorità dell´utente a
utilizzare l´apparecchiatura."
Se questo prodotto viene utilizzato in un campo elettromagnetico modulato
in ampiezza da un segnale di frequenza audio (da 20 Hz a 20 kHz), il rapporto
segnale / rumore potrebbe essere degradato. In condizioni estreme (3 V / m,
modulazione del 90%) si può vericare una degradazione no a 60 dB a una
frequenza corrispondente al segnale di modulazione.
3. Pannello superiore
(1) MICl´ingresso collega microfoni e altri segnali bilanciati utilizzando
connettori XLR.
(2) LINEA l´ingresso utilizza una presa TRS da ¼" per collegare segnali bilanciati
o sbilanciati a livello di linea.
(3) INSERIRE jack utilizza un connettore TRS da ¼" per portare l´elaborazione
degli eetti esterni (tipicamente compressione) nel percorso del segnale del
canale. Questo jack richiede cavi di inserimento specializzati che si dividono
in due connettori (TS da ¼" o XLR) per accedere all´ingresso e all´ingresso
dell´unità esterna connessioni.
(4) GUADAGNO la manopola regola la sensibilità degli ingressi MIC e / o LINE.
(5) TREBLE la manopola regola le alte frequenze.
(6) MIDe le manopole FREQ regolano le frequenze medie. Regolare la manopola
FREQ per selezionare la frequenza specica regolata dalla manopola MID.
(7) BASSO la manopola regola le basse frequenze.
(8) AUX 1e le manopole AUX 2 controllano la quantità di segnale inviato da
ciascun canale alle prese AUX OUT per il monitoraggio o l´elaborazione degli
eetti esterni. Utilizzare i pulsanti AUX MASTERS per controllare se i canali
AUX inviano un segnale pre-fader (PRE) o un segnale post-fader (POST).

ogni canale.
(10) PFLIl pulsante (Pre Fader Listen), quando premuto, assolo il canale e invia il
segnale in ingresso alla sezione MASTER METERS per un´impostazione più
precisa del guadagno. In modalità PFL, il segnale in Solo viene inviato alle uscite
MONITOR OUT e PHONES e il LED PFL nella sezione MASTER METERS si accende.
(11) LED PEAK si accende quando il segnale del canale è in sovraccarico.
(12) MUTE il pulsante disattiva il canale.
(13) FADER DI CANALE controllare il livello nale per ogni canale all´interno del
mix complessivo.
(14) BAL la manopola controlla il bilanciamento relativo sinistra-destra per i
segnali stereo in arrivo dagli ingressi STEREO 1 e STEREO 2.
(15) STEREO 1e gli ingressi STEREO 2 possono essere utilizzati per indirizzare i
segnali stereo sinistra-destra nel mix, come i ritorni stereo da processori di
eetti esterni. Per i segnali mono, utilizzare l´ingresso L (MONO) di ciascuna
coppia di ingressi stereo.
(16) AUX OUTi jack possono essere usati per indirizzare i mix AUX verso
processori di eetti esterni o monitor da palco. Per l´elaborazione
degli eetti send-and-return, usa gli ingressi STEREO 1 e STEREO 2 per
reindirizzare i segnali “wet” eettuati nel mix generale.
(17) MONITOR OUT i jack utilizzano connettori TRS da ¼" per indirizzare una
copia del mix nale in uscita ai monitor locali o in studio. Controlla il livello
MONITOR OUT utilizzando la manopola LOCAL nella sezione LOCAL MONITOR.
In modalità PFL (Pre Fader Listen), il segnale PFL in solo sovrascriverà e
sostituirà il segnale del mix principale nell´uscita MONITOR OUT.
(18) MASTER A SINISTRA e i jack MASTER RIGHT utilizzano connettori XLR per
inviare il mix stereo nale ai monitor o al mix house principale (suono dal vivo).
(19) MAIN OUT INSERT i jack utilizzano connettori TRS da ¼" per applicare
l´elaborazione degli eetti esterni al mix nale prima che il segnale esca
dalle uscite MASTER (ad esempio, per comprimere l´intero mix nale).
Questo jack richiede cavi di inserimento specializzati che si dividono in
due connettori (¼" TS o XLR) per accedere ai jack di ingresso e uscita del
processore esterno.

5. Connettori
Per garantire il funzionamento corretto e adabile dell´apparecchiatura, è
necessario utilizzare solo un cavo audio a doppino intrecciato schermato e
bilanciato di alta qualità. I gusci dei connettori XLR devono essere di metallo in
modo da fornire uno schermo quando sono collegati alla console / al serpente e,
dove appropriato, dovrebbero avere il Pin 1 collegato allo schermo del cavo.
1. Connettore audio di uscita di linea. Spina XLR femmina e connettore
chassis XLR maschio con le seguenti piedinature: 1 = massa; 2 = caldo;
e 3 = freddo.

6. Operazione
Operazione base
1. Assicurati che l´alimentazione a tutti i dispositivi sia spenta!
2. Collegare tutti i cavi di alimentazione e audio appropriati al mixer.
3. Impostare i controlli con tutte le manopole centrate e tutti i fader
abbassati / disattivati.
4. Accendi il mixer.
5. Imposta il GAIN per ogni canale. (Vedere la sezione Impostazione del
guadagno per i dettagli.)
6. Con i fader MAIN MIX e le manopole LOCAL MONITOR completamente
abbassati, accendi il sistema PA oi monitor.
7. Alzate lentamente i fader MAIN MIX o la manopola LOCAL MONITOR al
livello desiderato.
8. Regolare il livello relativo di ogni canale alzando ogni CHANNEL FADER.
9. Se necessario, regolare la posizione sinistra-destra di un canale nel campo
stereo ruotando la manopola PAN o BAL del canale.
10. Per le applicazioni dal vivo, regola l´uscita complessiva dal mixer
all´amplicatore di potenza o agli altoparlanti amplicati alzando i fader
MIX. Se i LED rossi +10 o +16 sui MASTER METERS si accendono, abbassare i
fader MIX.
11. Utilizzare le manopole AUX 1 e AUX 2 per inviare i segnali del canale a un
processore di eetti o monitor da palco collegato alle prese AUX OUT. Se
utilizzato per gli eetti, reindirizza il segnale dal processore agli ingressi
STEREO 1 o STEREO 2.
Guadagna impostazione
1. Premere il pulsante PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) del canale 1 per mettere in solo il
canale per l´impostazione del guadagno utilizzando i MISURATORI MASTER.
Il LED PFL nella sezione MASTER METERS si accenderà.
2. Canta, parla o suona a un livello normale attraverso il microfono o lo
strumento collegato al Canale 1.
3. Mentre canti o suoni, ruota il controllo GAIN del canale 1. I MISURATORI
MASTER visualizzeranno il livello del segnale. Regola il controllo GAIN in
modo che i picchi più forti raggiungano lo 0 sui MASTER METERS.
4. Premere nuovamente il pulsante PFL del canale 1 per disattivare la modalità
di ascolto pre-dissolvenza per quel canale.
5. Ripetere i passaggi 1-4 per tutti gli altri canali che verranno utilizzati.

Ceci est le manuel d´utilisation des consoles de mixage analogiques DM16 et
DM12. Ce manuel est destiné à vous aider à installer et à utiliser votre appareil
le plus rapidement possible en vous donnant des instructions de déballage,
d´installation, de connexion, de conguration et d´utilisation. Pour vous aider
à vous familiariser avec le DM16 et le DM12, vous trouverez une description des
commandes, ainsi que des instructions d´utilisation faciles à suivre.
2. Commencer
Cette section vous montre comment déballer, installer, connecter, allumer et
congurer la console de mixage analogique DM16 / DM12.
Cet équipement est alimenté par une tension secteur qui
peut provoquer des chocs électriques.
Avant d´installer, de congurer ou d´utiliser cet équipement, assurez-
vous d´avoir lu et compris entièrement cette section et les «Consignes
de sécurité importantes» au début de ce manuel. Reportez-vous aux
informations de sécurité supplémentaires sur le capot supérieur
de l´unité.
Déballage
Déballez soigneusement votre console de mixage analogique DM16 /
DM12. Ensuite, inspectez soigneusement la console pour déceler tout
signe de dommage qui aurait pu survenir pendant le transport et informez
immédiatement le transporteur si vous en découvrez.
Vériez le contenu de votre équipement DM16 / DM12. S´il y a des pièces
manquantes, incorrectes ou défectueuses, veuillez contacter votre distributeur
local ou DDA.
Veuillez conserver l´emballage d´origine au cas où vous auriez besoin de renvoyer
l´équipement au fabricant ou au fournisseur, ou de transporter ou d´expédier
l´appareil plus tard.
Installation
La position de la console variera d´un lieu à l´autre. Lors de l´installation de la
console, tenez compte des éléments suivants:
•• Avant d´installer et d´utiliser cet équipement de classe 1, assurez-vous qu´il
est correctement connecté au conducteur de terre de protection de la prise
d´alimentation secteur via le cordon d´alimentation.
•• Lors du positionnement de la console pour une utilisation FOH (Front Of
House), il vaut la peine de placer la console dans une position où le système
audio utilisé peut être entendu correctement depuis la position de mixage.
Essayez d´éviter de placer la console derrière des piliers ou de gros objets, ou
de mélanger à partir d´un niveau au-dessus de la position de l´enceinte (par
exemple, depuis un balcon).
•• La console doit être située dans un espace pratique en rapport avec
l´utilisation à laquelle la console est faite.
•• Idéalement, un endroit frais est préférable, loin des équipements de
distribution électrique ou d´autres sources potentielles d´interférence.
•• N´installez pas l´équipement dans des endroits mal ventilés.
•• N´installez pas cet équipement dans un endroit soumis à une chaleur
excessive, à de la poussière ou à des vibrations mécaniques. Prévoyez une
ventilation adéquate autour de l´équipement, en vous assurant que ses
ventilateurs et évents ne sont pas obstrués. Dans la mesure du possible,
gardez l´équipement hors de la lumière directe du soleil.
•• Ne placez pas l´équipement dans un état instable où il pourrait tomber
accidentellement.
•• Des dispositions doivent être prises pour une surface plane entourant la
console pour empêcher les personnes d´utiliser la console comme plateau de
table.
Puissance
L´alimentation interne est du type à découpage qui détecte automatiquement la
tension secteur entrante et fonctionnera là où la tension nominale est comprise
entre 100 Vca et 240 Vca.
Les ls appropriés pour la connexion dans la zone à laquelle l´unité a été
expédiée sont fournis avec l´unité. L´équipement doit être branché uniquement
sur les prises secteur à l´aide des câbles fournis.
Assurez-vous que la che installée sur le câble secteur fourni est solidement xée
au connecteur secteur IEC de l´unité. Lors de la mise en place ou du retrait d´une
che, tenez toujours la che elle-même et n´utilisez jamais le câble, car cela
pourrait endommager le câble. Ne jamais insérer ou retirer une che électrique
avec les mains mouillées.
Manipulation de l´équipement
Lorsque vous soulevez ou déplacez l´équipement, tenez toujours compte de
sa taille et de son poids. Si nécessaire, utilisez un équipement de levage ou un
équipement de transport approprié ou un personnel supplémentaire susant.
Isolez complètement l´équipement électriquement et débranchez tous les câbles
de l´équipement avant de le déplacer.
N´insérez pas vos doigts ou vos mains dans les fentes ou ouvertures de
l´équipement, par exemple les évents.
Champs électriques
Conformément à la partie 15 des règles et règlements de la FCC, «… les
changements ou modications non expressément approuvés par la partie
responsable de la conformité peuvent annuler le droit de l´utilisateur à faire
fonctionner l´équipement.»
Si ce produit est utilisé dans un champ électromagnétique modulé en amplitude
par un signal de fréquence audio (20 Hz à 20 kHz), le rapport signal / bruit
peut être dégradé. Une dégradation allant jusqu´à 60 dB à une fréquence
correspondant au signal de modulation peut être ressentie dans des conditions

3. Panneau du haut
(1) MIC L´entrée connecte des microphones et d´autres signaux symétriques à
l´aide de connecteurs XLR.
(2) LIGNE L´entrée utilise une che TRS ¼" pour connecter des signaux
symétriques ou asymétriques de niveau ligne.
(3) INSÉRER utilise une che TRS ¼" pour amener le traitement des eets externes
(généralement la compression) dans le chemin du signal du canal. Cette prise
nécessite des câbles d´insertion spécialisés qui se divisent en deux ches (¼" TS
ou XLR) pour accéder à l´entrée de l´unité externe et sur les connexions.
(4) GAIN Le bouton règle la sensibilité des entrées MIC et / ou LINE.
(5) TRIPLER Le bouton règle les hautes fréquences.
(6) MILIEUet les boutons FREQ ajustent les fréquences moyennes. Réglez le
bouton FREQ pour sélectionner la fréquence spécique ajustée par le bouton
MID.
(7) BASSE bouton règle les basses fréquences.
(8) AUX 1 et les boutons AUX 2 contrôlent la quantité de signal envoyé de
chaque canal aux prises AUX OUT pour l´écoute ou le traitement des eets
externes. Utilisez les boutons AUX MASTERS pour contrôler si les canaux AUX
envoient un signal pré-fader (PRE) ou un signal post-fader (POST).
(9) LA POÊLE les boutons contrôlent le placement stéréo gauche-droite de
chaque canal.
(10) PFLLe bouton (Pre Fader Listen), lorsqu´il est enfoncé, solos le canal et envoie
le signal d´entrée à la section MASTER METERS pour un réglage de gain
plus précis. En mode PFL, le signal mis en solo est acheminé vers les sorties
MONITOR OUT et PHONES, et la LED PFL de la section MASTER METERS s´allume.
(11) LED PEAK s´allume lorsque le signal du canal est surchargé.
(12) MUET Le bouton coupe le canal.
(13) FADERSDE CANALcontrôlerle niveau nalde chaquecanal dans le mixage général.
(14) BAL Le bouton contrôle la balance relative gauche-droite pour les signaux
stéréo provenant des entrées STEREO 1 et STEREO 2.
(15) STÉRÉO 1et les entrées STEREO 2 peuvent être utilisées pour acheminer les
signaux stéréo gauche-droite dans le mixage, tels que les retours stéréo
de processeurs d´eets externes. Pour les signaux mono, utilisez l´entrée L
(MONO) de chaque paire d´entrées stéréo.
(16) AUX OUT Les prises peuvent être utilisées pour acheminer les mixages AUX
vers des processeurs d´eets externes ou vers des moniteurs de scène. Pour
le traitement des eets d´envoi et de retour, utilisez les entrées STEREO 1 et
STEREO 2 pour acheminer les signaux «humides» vers le mixage général.
(17) MONITOR OUT Les prises utilisent des prises TRS ¼" pour acheminer une copie
du mixage nal vers des moniteurs locaux ou de studio. Contrôlez le niveau
MONITOR OUT à l´aide du bouton LOCAL de la section LOCAL MONITOR. En
mode PFL (Pre Fader Listen), le signal PFL mis en solo remplacera et remplacera
le signal de mixage principal dans la sortie MONITOR OUT.
(18) MAÎTRE GAUCHE et les prises MASTER RIGHT utilisent des connecteurs XLR
pour envoyer le mixage stéréo nal aux moniteurs ou au mixage maison
principal (son en direct).
(19) INSERT PRINCIPAL Les prises utilisent des ches TRS ¼" pour appliquer le
traitement des eets externes au mixage nal avant que le signal ne sorte
par les sorties MASTER (par exemple, pour compresser tout le mixage nal).
Cette prise nécessite des câbles d´insertion spécialisés qui se divisent en
deux ches (soit ¼" TS ou XLR) pour accéder aux prises d´entrée et de sortie
du processeur externe.
(20) 2 PIST Eutilise des prises RCA pour acheminer un signal stéréo de niveau
ligne supplémentaire vers le mixage principal (bouton MIX) et / ou le mixage
MONITOR OUT (bouton MONITOR). Contrôlez le niveau du signal 2 TRACK en
utilisant la commande de volume de votre source sonore stéréo.
(21) ENREGISTRER utilise des prises RCA pour envoyer une copie de niveau ligne
du signal de mixage nal vers des appareils d´enregistrement externes.
(22) TÉLÉPHONE (S permet de connecter un casque à l´aide d´une che TRS ¼" .
Contrôlez le niveau de sortie à l´aide du bouton PHONES de la section LOCAL
MONITOR. Le signal source PHONES provient du mixage principal, sauf en mode
PFL, lorsque le signal PFL mis en solo remplacera signal de mixage principal.
(23) +48 V LED s´allume pour indiquer que l´alimentation fantôme a été activée.
(24) PUISSANCE FANTÔME Le bouton active et désactive l´alimentation fantôme.
(25) LOCAL commande le niveau de sortie des prises MONITOR OUT.
(26) TÉLÉPHONE (S Le bouton contrôle le niveau de sortie de la prise PHONES.
(27) MAÎTRES AUX Les boutons contrôlent les réglages pré-fader (PRE) et post-
fader (POST) pour les boutons AUX 1 et AUX 2.

5. Connecteurs
Pour garantir un fonctionnement correct et able de l´équipement, seul un câble
audio à paire torsadée, blindé et symétrique de haute qualité doit être utilisé. Les
coques de connecteur XLR doivent être de construction métallique an de fournir
un écran lorsqu´elles sont connectées à la console / snake et, le cas échéant, elles
doivent avoir la broche 1 connectée à l´écran du câble.
1. Connecteur audio de sortie de ligne. Fiche XLR femelle et connecteur châssis
XLR mâle avec les brochages suivants: 1 = masse; 2 = chaud; et 3 = froid.
2. Connecteur audio d´entrée micro / ligne. Fiche XLR mâle et connecteur
châssis XLR femelle avec les brochages suivants: 1 = masse; 2 = chaud;
et 3 = froid.
3. ConnecteursRCA(2pistes / sortie d´enregistrement). Fiche RCA mâle et
connecteur châssis RCA femelle avec les brochages suivants: 1 = masse; 2 = signal.

6. Opération
Opération de base
1. Assurez-vous que tous les appareils sont hors tension!
2. Connectez tous les câbles d´alimentation et audio appropriés à la console
de mixage.
3. Réglez les commandes avec tous les boutons centrés et tous les faders
baissés / désactivés.
4. Allumez le mélangeur.
5. Réglez le GAIN pour chaque canal. (Voir la section Réglage du gain pour
plus de détails.)
6. Avec les faders MAIN MIX et les boutons LOCAL MONITOR tout en bas,
allumez votre système de sonorisation ou vos moniteurs.
7. Montez lentement les faders MAIN MIX ou le bouton LOCAL MONITOR au
niveau souhaité.
8. Réglez le niveau relatif de chaque canal en augmentant chaque CHANNEL FADER.
9. Ajustez la position gauche-droite d´un canal dans le champ stéréo si
nécessaire en tournant le bouton PAN ou BAL du canal.
10. Pour les applications en direct, ajustez la sortie globale de la console
de mixage vers l´ampli de puissance ou les haut-parleurs ampliés en
augmentant les faders MIX. Si les LED rouges +10 ou +16 du MASTER
METERS s´allument, baissez les faders MIX.
11. Utilisez les boutons AUX 1 et AUX 2 pour envoyer les signaux de canal à un
processeur d´eets ou à un moniteur de scène connecté aux prises AUX
OUT. S´il est utilisé pour les eets, renvoyez le signal du processeur vers les
entrées STEREO 1 ou STEREO 2.
Réglage du gain
1. Appuyez sur le bouton PFL (écoute pré-fader) du canal 1 pour mettre en solo
le canal pour le réglage du gain à l´aide des MASTER METERS. La LED PFL de
la section MASTER METERS s´allumera.
2. Chantez, parlez ou jouez à un niveau normal via le microphone ou
l´instrument connecté au canal 1.
3. Tout en chantant ou en jouant, tournez la commande GAIN du canal 1. Les
MASTER METERS acheront le niveau du signal. Réglez la commande GAIN
de sorte que les pics les plus forts atteignent 0 sur les MASTER METERS.
4. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton PFL du canal 1 pour désactiver le mode
d´écoute pré-fondu pour ce canal.
5. Répétez les étapes 1 à 4 pour tous les autres canaux qui seront utilisés.

2. Anfangen

Auspacken
Packen Sie Ihr analoges DM16 / DM12-Mischpult vorsichtig aus. Überprüfen

Transports aufgetreten sein könnten, und benachrichtigen Sie den Kurier
unverzüglich, wenn Sie welche entdecken.

Installation
Die Position der Konsole variiert von Veranstaltungsort zu Veranstaltungsort.
Beachten Sie bei der Installation der Konsole Folgendes:
•• Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Installation und dem Betrieb dieses Geräts der
Klasse 1, dass es über das Netzkabel korrekt an den Schutzerdungsleiter der
Steckdose angeschlossen ist.
•• Wenn Sie die Konsole für die Verwendung mit FOH (Front Of House)
positionieren, sollten Sie die Konsole so positionieren, dass das verwendete
Soundsystem von der Mischposition aus richtig gehört werden kann.
Vermeiden Sie es, die Konsole hinter Säulen oder großen Gegenständen zu
platzieren oder von einer Ebene über der Lautsprecherposition (z. B. von
einem Balkon aus) zu mischen.
•• Die Konsole sollte sich an einem geeigneten Ort benden, der dem
Verwendungszweck der Konsole entspricht.
•• Idealerweise wird ein kühler Bereich bevorzugt, der von
Stromverteilungsgeräten oder anderen potenziellen Störquellen entfernt ist.
•• Installieren Sie das Gerät nicht an Orten mit schlechter Belüftung.
•• Installieren Sie dieses Gerät nicht an Orten, die übermäßiger Hitze,

Leistung
Die interne Stromversorgung ist vom Typ Schaltmodus, der die eingehende
Netzspannung automatisch erfasst und dort funktioniert, wo die Nennspannung
im Bereich von 100 VAC bis 240 VAC liegt.
Die richtigen Kabel für den Anschluss in dem Bereich, in den das Gerät
geliefert wurde, werden mit dem Gerät geliefert. Das Gerät darf nur mit den
mitgelieferten Kabeln an die Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der am mitgelieferten Netzkabel angebrachte Stecker fest
mit dem IEC-Netzanschluss am Gerät verbunden ist. Halten Sie beim Anbringen
oder Entfernen eines Steckers immer den Stecker selbst und verwenden Sie
niemals das Kabel, da dies das Kabel beschädigen kann. Stecken oder entfernen
Sie niemals einen elektrischen Stecker mit nassen Händen.
Umgang mit der Ausrüstung
Berücksichtigen Sie beim Heben oder Bewegen des Geräts immer dessen
Größe und Gewicht. Verwenden Sie gegebenenfalls geeignete Hebezeuge oder
Transportmittel oder ausreichend zusätzliches Personal.
Trennen Sie das Gerät vollständig elektrisch und trennen Sie alle Kabel vom
Gerät, bevor Sie es bewegen.
Führen Sie Ihre Finger oder Hände nicht in Lücken oder Önungen am Gerät ein,
z. B. in Lüftungsschlitze.
Elektrische Felder
In Übereinstimmung mit Teil 15 der FCC-Regeln und -Regeln können „…
Änderungen oder Modikationen, die nicht ausdrücklich von der für die
Einhaltung verantwortlichen Partei genehmigt wurden, die Berechtigung des
Benutzers zum Betrieb des Geräts ungültig machen.“
Sollte dieses Produkt in einem elektromagnetischen Feld verwendet werden,
das durch ein Audiofrequenzsignal (20 Hz bis 20 kHz) amplitudenmoduliert
wird, kann sich das Signal-Rausch-Verhältnis verschlechtern. Unter extremen
Bedingungen (3 V / m, 90% Modulation) kann eine Verschlechterung von bis zu
60 dB bei einer dem Modulationssignal entsprechenden Frequenz auftreten.
3. Oberes Bedienfeld
(1) MIC Der Eingang verbindet Mikrofone und andere symmetrische Signale
über XLR-Anschlüsse.
(2) LINIE Der Eingang verwendet einen ¼" TRS-Stecker, um entweder
symmetrische oder unsymmetrische Signale mit Line-Pegel anzuschließen.
(3) EINFÜGEN Die Buchse verwendet einen ¼" TRS-Stecker, um die Verarbeitung
externer Eekte (normalerweise Komprimierung) in den Signalpfad des
Kanals zu bringen. Diese Buchse erfordert spezielle Einsteckkabel, die in

AUX OUT-Buchsen zur Überwachung oder Verarbeitung externer Eekte gesendet

Verstärkung an den Abschnitt MASTER METERS gesendet. Im PFL-Modus
wird das Solo-Signal zu den Ausgängen MONITOR OUT und PHONES geleitet,
und die PFL-LED im Abschnitt MASTER METERS leuchtet auf.
(11) PEAK LED leuchtet, wenn das Kanalsignal überlastet ist.
(12) STUMM Taste schaltet den Kanal stumm.
(13) CHANNEL FADERS Steuern Sie den endgültigen Pegel für jeden Kanal
innerhalb des Gesamtmix.
(14) BAL Der Regler steuert die relative Links-Rechts-Balance für Stereosignale,
die über die Eingänge STEREO 1 und STEREO 2 eingehen.

(18) MEISTER LINKS und MASTER RIGHT-Buchsen verwenden XLR-Anschlüsse,
um den endgültigen Stereomix an Monitore oder den Haupthaus-Mix (Live-
Sound) zu senden.
(19) MAIN OUT INSERT Buchsen verwenden einen ¼" TRS-Stecker, um
die Verarbeitung der externen Eekte auf die endgültige Mischung
anzuwenden, bevor das Signal über die MASTER-Ausgänge ausgegeben
wird (z. B. um die gesamte endgültige Mischung zu komprimieren).
Für diese Buchse sind spezielle Einsteckkabel erforderlich, die in zwei
Stecker aufgeteilt sind (entweder ¼" TS oder XLR), um auf die Ein- und
Ausgangsbuchsen des externen Prozessors zuzugreifen.

5. Anschlüsse

6. Betrieb
Grundbetrieb
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Geräte ausgeschaltet sind!
2. Schließen Sie alle geeigneten Strom- und Audiokabel an den Mixer an.
3. Stellen Sie die Regler so ein, dass alle Regler zentriert und alle Fader
herunter / aus sind.
4. Schalten Sie den Mixer ein.

6. Schalten Sie Ihr PA-System oder Ihre Monitore mit den MAIN MIX-Fadern und
den LOCAL MONITOR-Reglern ganz nach unten ein.
7. Heben Sie die MAIN MIX-Fader oder den LOCAL MONITOR-Regler langsam auf
den gewünschten Wert an.
8. Stellen Sie den relativen Pegel jedes Kanals ein, indem Sie jeden CHANNEL
FADER anheben.
9. Passen Sie bei Bedarf die Links-Rechts-Position eines Kanals im Stereofeld
an, indem Sie den PAN- oder BAL-Knopf des Kanals drehen.
10. Passen Sie für Live-Anwendungen die Gesamtleistung des Mischpults an die
Endstufe oder die Aktivlautsprecher an, indem Sie die MIX-Fader anheben.
Wenn die roten +10 oder +16 LEDs am MASTER METERS leuchten, senken Sie
die MIX-Fader.
11. Verwenden Sie die AUX 1- und AUX 2-Regler, um die Kanalsignale an einen

Poder
A fonte de alimentação interna é do tipo switch mode que detecta
automaticamente a tensão da rede elétrica de entrada e funcionará quando a

Os cabos corretos para conexão na área para a qual a unidade foi enviada são
fornecidos com a unidade. O equipamento só deve ser conectado à rede elétrica
usando os cabos fornecidos.

encaixado no conector de alimentação IEC da unidade. Ao colocar ou remover
um plugue, sempre segure o próprio plugue e nunca use o cabo, pois isso

Manuseando o equipamento

Campos elétricos

3. Painel superior

5. Conectores

6. Operation
Basic Operation
1. Make sure the power to all devices is turned o!
2. Connect all appropriate power and audio cables to the mixer.
3. Set the controls with all knobs centered and all faders down/o.
4. Turn the mixer on.
5. Set the GAIN for each channel. (See the Gain Setting section for details.)
6. With the MAIN MIX faders and LOCAL MONITOR knobs all the way down, turn
on your PA system or monitors.
7. Slowly raise the MAIN MIX faders or LOCAL MONITOR knob to the
desired level.
8. Adjust the relative level of each channel by raising each CHANNEL FADER.
9. Adjust the left-right position of a channel in the stereo eld if necessary by
turning the channel´s PAN or BAL knob.
10. For live applications, adjust the overall output from the mixer to the power
amp or powered speakers by raising the MIX faders. If the red +10 or +16
LEDs on the MASTER METERS light, lower the MIX faders.
11. Use the AUX 1 and AUX 2 knobs to send the channel signals out to an eects
processor or stage monitor connected to the AUX OUT jacks. If used for
eects, route the signal back from the processor to the STEREO 1 or STEREO
2 inputs.
Gain Setting
1. Press the Channel 1 PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) button to solo the channel for
gain setting using the MASTER METERS. The PFL LED in the MASTER METERS
section will light up.
2. Sing, speak or play at a normal level through the microphone or instrument
connected to Channel 1.
3. While singing or playing, turn Channel 1´s GAIN control. The MASTER METERS
will display the signal level. Set the GAIN control so that the loudest peaks
reach 0 on the MASTER METERS.
4. Press the Channel 1 PFL button again to deactivate Pre-Fade Listen mode for
that channel.
5. Repeat Steps 1-4 for any other channels that will be used.

Installazione
La posizione della console varierà da sede a sede. Quando si installa la console,
tenere in considerazione quanto segue:
•• Prima di installare e utilizzare questa apparecchiatura di Classe 1, assicurarsi
che sia collegata correttamente al conduttore di terra protettivo della presa
di alimentazione della tensione di rete tramite il cavo di alimentazione.

5. Connettori
Per garantire il funzionamento corretto e adabile dell´apparecchiatura, è
necessario utilizzare solo un cavo audio a doppino intrecciato schermato e
bilanciato di alta qualità. I gusci dei connettori XLR devono essere di metallo in

6. Operazione
Operazione base
1. Assicurati che l´alimentazione a tutti i dispositivi sia spenta!
2. Collegare tutti i cavi di alimentazione e audio appropriati al mixer.
3. Impostare i controlli con tutte le manopole centrate e tutti i fader
abbassati / disattivati.
4. Accendi il mixer.
5. Imposta il GAIN per ogni canale. (Vedere la sezione Impostazione del
guadagno per i dettagli.)
6. Con i fader MAIN MIX e le manopole LOCAL MONITOR completamente
abbassati, accendi il sistema PA oi monitor.
7. Alzate lentamente i fader MAIN MIX o la manopola LOCAL MONITOR al
livello desiderato.
8. Regolare il livello relativo di ogni canale alzando ogni CHANNEL FADER.
9. Se necessario, regolare la posizione sinistra-destra di un canale nel campo
stereo ruotando la manopola PAN o BAL del canale.
10. Per le applicazioni dal vivo, regola l´uscita complessiva dal mixer
all´amplicatore di potenza o agli altoparlanti amplicati alzando i fader
MIX. Se i LED rossi +10 o +16 sui MASTER METERS si accendono, abbassare i
fader MIX.
11. Utilizzare le manopole AUX 1 e AUX 2 per inviare i segnali del canale a un
processore di eetti o monitor da palco collegato alle prese AUX OUT. Se
utilizzato per gli eetti, reindirizza il segnale dal processore agli ingressi
STEREO 1 o STEREO 2.
Guadagna impostazione
1. Premere il pulsante PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) del canale 1 per mettere in solo il
canale per l´impostazione del guadagno utilizzando i MISURATORI MASTER.
Il LED PFL nella sezione MASTER METERS si accenderà.
2. Canta, parla o suona a un livello normale attraverso il microfono o lo
strumento collegato al Canale 1.
3. Mentre canti o suoni, ruota il controllo GAIN del canale 1. I MISURATORI
MASTER visualizzeranno il livello del segnale. Regola il controllo GAIN in
modo che i picchi più forti raggiungano lo 0 sui MASTER METERS.
4. Premere nuovamente il pulsante PFL del canale 1 per disattivare la modalità
di ascolto pre-dissolvenza per quel canale.
5. Ripetere i passaggi 1-4 per tutti gli altri canali che verranno utilizzati.

Over deze handleiding
Dit is de bedieningshandleiding voor de DM16 en DM12 analoge mengpanelen.
Deze handleiding is bedoeld om u te helpen uw apparaat zo snel mogelijk te
installeren en in bedrijf te stellen door u instructies te geven voor het uitpakken,
installeren, aansluiten, opstellen en bedienen. Om u vertrouwd te maken
met de DM16 en DM12, is er een beschrijving van de bedieningselementen en
gemakkelijk te volgen gebruikersinstructies.
2. Ermee beginnen
In dit gedeelte wordt uitgelegd hoe u het DM16 / DM12 analoge mengpaneel
uitpakt, installeert, aansluit, aanzet en congureert.
Deze apparatuur wordt gevoed door een netspanning die
elektrische schokken kan veroorzaken.
Voordat u deze apparatuur installeert, opstelt of bedient,
moet u ervoor zorgen dat u dit gedeelte en de "Belangrijke
veiligheidsinstructies" vooraan in deze handleiding hebt gelezen en
volledig begrijpt. Raadpleeg aanvullende veiligheidsinformatie op de
bovenklep van het apparaat.
Uitpakken
Pak uw DM16 / DM12 analoge mengtafel voorzichtig uit. Inspecteer de console
vervolgens zorgvuldig op tekenen van schade die tijdens het transport kunnen
zijn opgetreden en stel de koerier onmiddellijk op de hoogte als u die ontdekt.
Controleer de inhoud van uw DM16 / DM12 uitrustingspakket. Als er onderdelen
ontbreken, onjuist of defect zijn, neem dan contact op met uw lokale distributeur
of DDA.
Bewaar de originele verpakking voor het geval u de apparatuur naar de
fabrikant of leverancier moet retourneren, of het apparaat later moet vervoeren
of verzenden.
Installatie
De positie van de console varieert van locatie tot locatie. Houd bij het installeren
van de console rekening met het volgende:
•• Voordat u dit Klasse 1-apparaat installeert en bedient, moet u ervoor zorgen
dat het correct is aangesloten op de beschermende aardgeleider van het
stopcontact via het netsnoer.
•• Bij het plaatsen van de console voor FOH (Front Of House) gebruik is het de
moeite waard om de console in een positie te plaatsen waar het gebruikte
geluidssysteem goed hoorbaar is vanuit de mixpositie. Probeer de console
niet achter pilaren of grote objecten te plaatsen, of te mixen vanaf een
niveau boven de luidsprekerpositie (bijvoorbeeld vanaf een balkon).
•• De console moet in een geschikte ruimte worden geplaatst die past bij het
gebruik waarvoor de console wordt gebruikt.
•• Idealiter heeft een koele ruimte de voorkeur, uit de buurt van
stroomverdeelapparatuur of andere potentiële storingsbronnen.
•• Installeer de apparatuur niet op plaatsen met slechte ventilatie.
•• Installeer deze apparatuur niet op een locatie die wordt blootgesteld aan
overmatige hitte, stof of mechanische trillingen. Zorg voor voldoende
ventilatie rond de apparatuur en zorg ervoor dat de ventilatoren en
ventilatieopeningen niet worden geblokkeerd. Houd de apparatuur indien
mogelijk uit direct zonlicht.
•• Plaats de apparatuur niet in een onstabiele toestand waar deze per ongeluk
kan omvallen.
•• Er moeten voorzieningen worden getroen voor een vlakke ondergrond
rond de console om te voorkomen dat mensen de console als
tafelblad gebruiken.
Kracht
De interne voeding is van het type met schakelmodus dat automatisch de
binnenkomende netspanning detecteert en werkt waar de nominale spanning
tussen 100 VAC en 240 VAC ligt.
De juiste kabels voor aansluiting in het gebied waarnaar het apparaat is
verzonden, worden bij het apparaat geleverd. De apparatuur mag alleen op het
stopcontact worden aangesloten met behulp van de meegeleverde kabels.
Zorg ervoor dat de stekker van het meegeleverde netsnoer stevig in de IEC-
netspanningsconnector op het apparaat zit. Houd bij het plaatsen of verwijderen
van een stekker altijd de stekker zelf vast en gebruik nooit het snoer, dit kan het
snoer beschadigen. Steek of verwijder nooit een stekker met natte handen.
Omgaan met de apparatuur
Houd bij het optillen of verplaatsen van de apparatuur altijd rekening met de
afmetingen en het gewicht. Gebruik indien nodig geschikte hijsmiddelen of
transportmiddelen, of voldoende aanvullend personeel.
Isoleer de apparatuur volledig elektrisch en koppel alle kabels los van de
apparatuur voordat u deze verplaatst.
Steek uw vingers of handen niet in openingen of openingen van de apparatuur,
bijvoorbeeld ventilatieopeningen.
Elektrische velden
In overeenstemming met deel 15 van de FCC-regels en voorschriften, "... kunnen
wijzigingen of aanpassingen die niet uitdrukkelijk zijn goedgekeurd door de
partij die verantwoordelijk is voor de naleving, de bevoegdheid van de gebruiker
om de apparatuur te bedienen ongeldig maken."
Als dit product wordt gebruikt in een elektromagnetisch veld dat in amplitude
wordt gemoduleerd door een audiofrequentiesignaal (20 Hz tot 20 kHz), kan de
signaal-ruisverhouding verslechteren. Onder extreme omstandigheden (3 V /
m, 90% modulatie) kan verslechtering tot 60 dB optreden bij een frequentie die
overeenkomt met het modulatiesignaal.
3. Bovenpaneel
(1) MIC ingang verbindt microfoons en andere gebalanceerde signalen met
behulp van XLR-connectoren.
(2) LIJN ingang gebruikt een ¼" TRS-stekker om gebalanceerde of
ongebalanceerde signalen op lijnniveau aan te sluiten.
(3) INVOEGEN aansluiting gebruikt een ¼" TRS-plug om externe eectverwerking
(meestal compressie) in het signaalpad van het kanaal te brengen. Deze
aansluiting vereist speciale invoerkabels die in twee pluggen zijn opgesplitst
(ofwel ¼" TS of XLR) om toegang te krijgen tot de in- en uit verbindingen.
(4) KRIJGEN regelaar past de gevoeligheid van de MIC- en / of
LINE-ingangen aan.
(5) TREBLE knop past de hoge frequenties aan.
(6) MID en FREQ-knoppen passen de middenfrequenties aan. Pas de FREQ-
knop aan om de specieke frequentie te selecteren die is aangepast met de
MID-knop.
(7) BAS knop past de lage frequenties aan.
(8) AUX 1 en AUX 2-knoppen regelen de hoeveelheid signaal die van elk kanaal
naar de AUX OUT-aansluitingen wordt gestuurd voor auisteren of externe
eectenverwerking. Gebruik de AUX MASTERS-knoppen om te bepalen
of de AUX-kanalen een pre-fadersignaal (PRE) of een post-fadersignaal
(POST) verzenden.
(9) PAN knoppen regelen de links-rechts stereoplaatsing voor elk kanaal.
(10) PFL (Pre Fader Listen) -knop, indien ingedrukt, soleert het kanaal en stuurt
het ingangssignaal naar de MASTER METERS-sectie voor een nauwkeurigere
gain-instelling. In de PFL-modus wordt het solo-signaal naar de MONITOR
OUT- en PHONES-uitgangen geleid, en de PFL-LED in de MASTER METERS-
sectie licht op.
(11) PIEK-LED licht op wanneer het kanaalsignaal overbelast raakt.
(12) DEMPEN knop dempt het kanaal.
(13) KANAAL FADERS controle over het laatste niveau voor elk kanaal binnen de
algehele mix.
(14) BAL knop regelt de relatieve links-rechts balans voor stereosignalen die
binnenkomen via de STEREO 1- en STEREO 2-ingangen.
(15) STEREO 1 en STEREO 2-ingangen kunnen worden gebruikt om links-rechts
stereosignalen naar de mix te leiden, zoals stereoretouren van externe
eectprocessors. Gebruik voor monosignalen de L (MONO) -ingang van elk
paar stereo-ingangen.
(16) AUX UIT jacks kunnen worden gebruikt om AUX-mixen naar externe
eectprocessors of naar podiummonitors te sturen. Gebruik voor de
verwerking van send-and-return-eecten de STEREO 1- en STEREO
2-ingangen om de geëecteerde “natte” signalen terug te leiden naar de
algehele mix.
(17) MONITOR UIT-aansluitingen gebruiken ¼" TRS-pluggen om een kopie
van de uiteindelijke mix naar lokale of studiomonitors te sturen. Regel
het MONITOR OUT-niveau met de LOCAL-knop in de LOCAL MONITOR-
sectie. In PFL-modus (Pre Fader Listen) kan het solo PFL-signaal zal het
hoofdmixsignaal in de MONITOR OUT-uitgang negeren en vervangen.
(18) MEESTER LINKS en MASTER RIGHT-aansluitingen gebruiken XLR-
aansluitingen om de uiteindelijke stereomix naar monitoren of de
hoofdhuismix (live geluid) te sturen.
(19) HOOFD UIT INSERT jacks gebruiken ¼" TRS-pluggen om externe
eectverwerking toe te passen op de eindmix voordat het signaal naar de
MASTER-uitgangen gaat (bijv. om de hele eindmix te comprimeren). Deze jack
vereist speciale insert-kabels die opgesplitst zijn in twee pluggen (ofwel
¼" TS of XLR) voor toegang tot de in- en uitgangen van de externe processor.
(20) 2 TRACK gebruikt RCA-aansluitingen om een extra stereosignaal op
lijnniveau naar de hoofdmix (MIX-knop) en / of de MONITOR OUT-mix
(MONITOR-knop) te leiden. Regel het niveau van het 2 TRACK-signaal met de
volumeregeling op uw stereogeluidsbron.
(21) OPNEMEN gebruikt RCA-aansluitingen om een kopie op lijnniveau van het
eindmixsignaal naar externe opnameapparaten te sturen.
(22) TELEFOONS aansluiting voor een hoofdtelefoon met een ¼" TRS-plug.
Regel het uitgangsniveau met behulp van de PHONES-knop in de LOCAL
MONITOR-sectie. Het PHONES-bronsignaal komt van de hoofdmix, behalve
in de PFL-modus, wanneer het solo-PFL-signaal de main mix signaal.
(23) +48 V LED licht op om aan te geven dat fantoomvoeding is geactiveerd.
(24) FANTOOMVERMOGEN knop schakelt fantoomvoeding in en uit.
(25) LOKAAL knop regelt het uitgangsniveau voor de MONITOR
OUT-aansluitingen.
(26) TELEFOONS knop regelt het uitgangsniveau voor de PHONES-aansluiting.
(27) AUX-MASTERS knoppen bedienen de pre-fader (PRE) en post-fader (POST)
instellingen voor de AUX 1- en AUX 2-knoppen.
(28) HOOFD METERS displayniveaus voor de hoofdmix, evenals solo-kanalen
met de PFL-functie (Pre-Fader Listen) geactiveerd voor gedetailleerde
gain-instelling. De POW-led gaat branden om aan te geven dat het apparaat
is ingeschakeld. De PFL-LED licht op om aan te geven dat de meter wordt
gebruikt voor het instellen van de PFL-versterking.
(29) 2 TRACK-MONITOR-knop leidt het stereo 2 TRACK-signaal naar de MONITOR
OUT-mix.
(30) 2 TRACK MIX-knop leidt het stereo 2 TRACK-signaal naar de hoofdmix.
(31) MENGEN faders passen de algehele output van de mixer aan op de MASTER
LEFT en MASTER RIGHT jacks.
4. Rear Panel
(32) AC IN accepteert de meegeleverde voedingskabel voor aansluiting op een
stopcontact.
(33) STROOM AAN schakelaar zet de mixer aan en uit.
(34) SERIENUMMER voor garantieregistratie.
