HOW TO USE YOUR CAMERA
Turn on / o
Turn on: press and hold the Power Button for 2
seconds, the LED indicator will turn red. The cam-
era defaults to video mode when turned on.
Turn o: press and hold the power Button for 2
seconds.
Modes
Midland H7 has 4 dierent operative modes: Vid-
eo, Slow Motion, Picture and Play back.To switch
to dierent modes you have to press Shoot But-
ton for 1,5 seconds:

Take a Video
By default, the camera is on video mode when it is
turned on.
Press Shoot Button once to start recording.
Press Shoot Button again to stop recording, the
video clip will be saved automatically.
Slow Motion
Slow motion is an eect in lm-making whereby

time appears to be slowed down. It achieved
when each lm frame is captured at a rate much
faster than it will be played back.
Press Shoot Button for 1.5 seconds to switch from
Video mode to Slow Motion mode.
Press Shoot Button once to start recording on
Slow Motion mode.
Press Shoot Button once to stop recording.
Shooting Single Picture
Press and hold Shoot Button for 1.5 seconds to
switch from Slow Motion mode to Picture Mode.
Press Shoot Button once to shoot a single picture.
Playback mode
Press and hold the Shoot Button for 1.5 seconds
to switch from Picture Mode to Playback Mode.
On this mode you can review all your captured
videos and photos.
Use WiFi Button to scroll, Shoot Button to enter
and play, Power Button to enter to protect/delete
le menu.
Press and hold Shoot Button for 1.5 seconds to
swift to Video Mode.

Charging the camera
Connect the camera to the PC via USB cable. The
red indicator will be on, charging is in process.
When the battery is fully charged, the red indica-
tor will turn o. It takes around 2.5 hours to fully
charge the battery.
Insert the TF Card
Insert a Micro SD card into the card slot according
to the direction shown on the camera.
>We suggest using ≥CLASS 6 (High speed) Micro
SD card for smoothly shooting purpose. Lower
CLASS of Micro SD Card may cause video
jammed.
>There is only one correct direction to insert the
Micro SD card into the slot. Do not force the
card into the card slot, as it may damage both
the camera and the Micro SD card.
>A new Micro SD card should be formatted with
the camera before using.
How to use waterproof case
The camera can support underwater 30 meters if
mounted in the waterproof case.

a. Open the waterproof case latch;
b. insert the camera properly;
c. close the waterproof case buckle.
After the use, please carefully clean the case with
clean water and dry with a dry cloth.
SETTING YOUR CAMERA
Video mode setting
When the camera is on Video Mode, press the
Power Button once (release immediately, if it is
held too long, the camera will switch o), then
enter the Video Setting menu. Use the Wi-Fi But-
ton to scroll, Shoot Button to conrm, Power But-
ton to back to last menu.
Resolution: 4k@10fps, 2.7k@15fps, 1080p@60fps,
1080p@30fps, 720p@120fps, 720p@60fps are for
your choice.
Video looping: the video will be separated into
dierent les by the Time Length.
>Selected “O”: the video will be separated into
dierent les by 30-minutes.
>Selected“1 Min”: the video will be separated in-
to dierent les by 1-minute.

>Selected“3 Min”: the video will be separated in-
to dierent les by 3-minutes.
>Selected“5 Min”: the video will be separated in-
to dierent les by 5-minutes.
For example, if you select “5 Min”, time length, a
20 Minutes video will be separated into 4 Video
Clips (5 Minutes each Clip).
White balance: the default set is auto, you can ad-
just the mode as concrete lighting condition.
Microphone:
>Select“On”, shoot video with sound.
>Select“O”, shoot video without sound.
Date Stamp: you can set time and date stamp on
video or not.
Picture mode setting
When the camera is on Picture Mode, press the
Power Button once (release immediately, if it is
held too long, the camera will switch o), then
enter the Picture Setting Menu. Use the Wi-Fi But-
ton to scroll, Shoot Button to conrm, Power But-
ton to back to last menu.
Resolution: 3m, 5m, 8m, 12m. The higher resolu-
tion, the better image quality.
Quality: the higher quality setting, the better

photo image quality.
Metering: dierent options to determine the ex-
posure.
White balance: the default setting is Auto, you can
adjust the mode as concrete lighting condition.
ISO: to determine how sensitive the camera sen-
sor is.
Exposure: light exposure, the higher exposure
the faster image speed, high exposure suit to dark
environment.
Self Timer: if on, the user can auto image capture
every 2 or 10 seconds.
Date Stamp: you can set time and date stamp on
photo or not.
Set-up more
When the camera is on Photo or Video Mode,
press Power Button once, then press and hold
Shoot Button for 1.5 seconds and enter the Set-
up More menu. Use the Wi-Fi Button to scroll,
Shoot Button to conrm, Power Button to back to
last menu.
Screen Saver: select 1, 3, 5 min option, the cam-
era LCD screen will be o if no operation after 1, 3,
5 min.

Auto power o: select 1,3, 5 min option, the cam-
era will be o if no operation after 1, 3, 5 min.
Date & Time: the default format is YY/DD/MM.
You can set the date and time, time sequence by
yourself.
Language: there are 8 languages for your select,
including English, French, Spanish, Italian, etc.
Power Frequency: select correct light frequency
to avoid strobing.
Screen rotation: when selected, the monitor im-
age will turn upside down.
Time lapse: when played at normal speed, time
appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing.
System: you can check the system, TF card info,
and reset it to factory default setting.
Wi-Fi Password: set the Wi-Fi password by your-
self. The original Wi-Fi password is “1234567890”.
Wi-Fi SSID: set theWi-Fi ID by yourself. The default
SSID is“WiFi_Cam_000”.
Format: you can format the TF card on camera.

WI-FI SET-UP
Note: make sure your camera is full of power be-
fore using the Wi-Fi function.
a. Download the App“iSport Cam”to your smart-
phone or tablet from Google play store or Ap-
ple App store;
b. turn on the camera, then press the Wi-Fi But-
ton to enter into the Wi-Fi mode;
c. go to Wi-Fi setting of your smart-phone or tablet,
then you can see“WiFi_Cam_000”in your list;
d. input password “1234567890” to connect the
camera with your smartphone or tablet;
e. open the App“iSport Cam”.

Note: before using the remote control, please char-
ge it’s battery.

Picture key: Press once to take a single picture.
Video key: Press once to start recording a video,
press again to stop.
Power o key: Press and hold for 4 seconds to
turn o the camera.
Indicator function:
>Left indicator:
>When Wi-Fi is connected, icker with blue.
>Middle indicator:
>When paired nished, light with blue;
>when during charging, light with red;
>during charging when camera is on, light
with purple.
>Right indicator:
>When video recording, icker with green;
>when picture captured, icker once for each
single picture.
ATTENTION:
the remote control is not waterproof
Pairing your camera and remote control
a.Press and hold the Picture & Video keys for 3
seconds, then release;
b.turn the camera on;
c. when the camera enters into the real live inter-
face, and the middle blue indicator lights up,
the pairing is nished.

Note: Only need to pair once, afterwords the
camera will recognize automatically;
Wi–Fi function & remote controller can not be
used simultaneously.
PC CAMERA (WEBCAM)
The Camera can be used as a PC camera (webcam).
a. Connect camera and PC via a USB cable;
b. turn the camera on;
c. when the camera monitor shows “MSDC” icon,
press the Shoot Button to switch to “PC CAM”
mode.
CONNECT WITH TV
You can playback captured videos and pictures
on TV via a HDMI cable.
a. Connect the camera to TV via a HDMI cable;
b. power the camera on;
c. the TV screen will show the active scene. You
can shoot the picture or video same with the
operation of camera. Also you can playback
them on the TV;

d. press and hold Power Button for 2 seconds to
turn o the camera.
TRANSFERRING FILES TO PC
You can transfer captured videos and pictures to PC.
a. Connect camera and PC via a USB cable;
b. turn the camera on;
c. when the camera monitor shows “MSDC” icon,
it means your camera can be used as a “USB
Disk”. If shows “PC CAM”, press the Shoot But-
ton to switch to MSDC mode;
d. select the les you want to transfer to your
computer.
RESET THE CAMERA
The “Reset” button is near to the USB and TF card
interface.
When the camera does not work properly or is
jammed, you might use pin to press the Reset
Button for 2 seconds to reset the camera, so that
you can restart the camera for proper shooting.

FAQ
Q: The camera cannot turn on. Why?
A: Check if the battery is running at. If so, charge
the battery via USB cable or AC adaptor rst.
Q: The camera freezes. What should I do?
A: Use a pin to press the reset button near to USB
interface for 2 seconds, then restart the cam-
era.
Q: The video and photos are blurred. Why?
A: The lens may be dirty, please clean the lens.
Q: The camera cannot connect with PC. Why?
A: Try another USB cable or computer USB port.
Q: The camera will auto turn o. Why?
A: Check if auto power o in the general setting is
on. If so, turn it o.
B. Check if the battery is running at. If so, charge
the battery rst.
Note: when camera freezes, you can press the Re-
set Button to turn o.

The warranty does not limit the user’s statutory
rights under aplicable National laws relating to
the sale of consumer products.
During the warranty period, any fault attributable to
defects in materials, design or workmanship will be
repaired in a reasonable period of time free of any
charge for repair. In the event repair is not possible,
we should provide the user with a similar or better
featured device or accessory. The warranty period
starts at the time of product’s original purchase by
the rst end-user.
The warrany period lasts:
• 24 months for the device or main unit.
• 6 months for accessories (batterys, chargers,
antennas, headhones, cables).
Any claim for defective product must be noticed
within a reasonable period of time from when the
defect was rst observed and, in any case, after the
expiration of the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover:
• The product deterioration by normal use.
• Defects caused by misuse with, or connection to,
any accessory or software not genuine Midland.
LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty is not enforceable:
• If the product has been dismantled, modied or
repaired by anyone other than the authorized
service centre or if it’s repaired using unautho-
rized spare parts.
• If the product has been exposed to environ-
mental conditions for which it has not been de-
signed.
• In case of corrosion, oxidation or spill battery
uid.
• If the serial number has been removed, erased,
altered or is illegible.
Nobody will be indemnied for the inactivity pe-
riod of the device nor can expect refund or claim
for direct or circumstantial damages due to an in-
appropriate use of the device.
