The appliance must be installed by
a suitably qualified and competent
person in strict accordance with
current national and local safety
regulations.
~Before installation, check the
appliance for visible signs of damage.
~Before connecting the appliance,
make sure that the connection data on
the data plate (voltage and frequency)
match the mains electricity supply.
Consult a qualified electrician if in any
doubt.
~The electrical safety of this
appliance can only be guaranteed
when continuity is complete between it
and an effective earthing system which
complies with current local and national
safety regulations. It is most important
that this basic safety requirement is
present and regularly tested, and
where there is any doubt, the
household wiring system should be
inspected by a qualified electrician.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable
for the consequences of an inadequate
earthing system (e.g. electric shock).
~The appliance must be positioned
so that you can see the contents of a
cooking container placed on the top
runner. Otherwise you may risk
scalding or burning yourself with hot
water and food when taking containers
out of the oven.
Keep these instructions in a safe place
and pass them on to any future user.
All dimensions in this instruction booklet
are given in mm.

Cut-outs for venting the steam combi oven
To ensure that the steam combi oven has adequate ventilation, the following
cut-outs measuring 500 x 40 mm must be made:
ain the top of the housing unit
bin the interim shelf above the building-in niche
The furniture housing unit must not have a back panel fitted behind the building-in
niche.

Installation in a base unit
If the steam combi oven is being installed underneath a hob, please follow the
instructions for building in the hob and also take the building-in height for the
hob into account.

Cut-outs for venting the steam combi oven
To ensure that the steam combi oven has adequate ventilation, the following
cut-outs measuring 500 x 40 mm must be made:
ain the base of the building-in niche
bin the floor of the cupboard space below the building-in niche
The furniture housing unit must not have a back panel fitted behind the building-in
niche.

Installing the appliance
^Push the appliance into the recess and align it.
The appliance must be positioned level, with a maximum
tolerance of 2°, to allow the steam generator to operate
correctly.
^Secure the appliance by screwing the two wood screws 3.5
x 25 mm (supplied) into the vertical strips on either side of
the appliance (see illustration).

Plumbing in the appliance
aStopcock
bInlet hose, L = 1500 mm
cDrain hose, L = 3000 mm
dThe top end of the drain hose must not be higher than 500 mm where it
connects to the odour trap.
eImportant: If an oven is being installed underneath the steam combi oven, the
inlet and drain hose for the steam oven must not be positioned behind the oven
in shaded area e.

To accommodate the water hoses and to ensure that the steam combi oven has
adequate ventilation, the following cut-outs measuring 500 x 40 mm must be
made:
ain the top of the housing unit (for ventilation)
bin the interim shelf above the building-in niche (for ventilation)
cin the base of the building-in niche (for the water hoses)
din the floor of the housing unit (for the water hoses)
The furniture housing unit must not have a back panel fitted behind the building-in
niche.

Installation in a base unit
If the steam combi oven is being installed underneath a hob, please follow the
instructions for building in the hob and also take the building-in height for the
hob into account.
