Replace with 4 – AA 1.5 Volt
Automatic Standby Mode
When there is no transmission from the Handset to the
Receiver for 6-hours, the fireplace goes to Pilot or
Standby.

Manual Ignition (Lost Remote)
Steps for Manual Ignition
Remove Window and Locate Pilot
1. Set ON/OFF Switch to ON
2. Turn MAN/ON Knob to MAN
3. Adjust Flame Knob to Lowest Setting
4. Push Down Core with Pen or Similar Object
5. Light Pilot with Match and Hold Core Down for 10 sec.
6. Replace Window and return MAN/ON Knob to ON
7. Turn Flame Up or Down with Flame Knob

BEFORE OPERATING smell all around the appliance area for gas
Be sure to smell next to the floor because
some gas is heavier than air and will settle on the floor.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
Do not try to light any appliance.
Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone.
Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
Do not store or use gasoline of other flammable vapors and liquids
in the vicinity of this control or other appliances.

Set Timer – 2 Events / Day
Press and Hold the
Set Button until the
Time flashes. Use
High (hour) and Low Flame
(minutes) button to set time.
Press Set button to
Step through the
Modes to TIMER
Press and Hold the
Set Button until Timer
appears in lower right
Briefly hit set button to move to next setting.
Hold Set button again until the time flashes.
Repeat until all times are set.
To have one heating cycle, both P2 must be
set for the P1 cycle
Note: For 1 Event
Set both P2 for
Same as P1 off
