Getting started
1. On your device, go to the App Store/Google Play Store and search for ‘Milestone HQ’
2. Install and open the Milestone HQ app
3. Once open, a message will appear saying ‘Please enter My Profi le to set your personal
info prior to use’
4. Press ‘Settings’ at the bottom followed by ‘My Profi le’
5. Enter your details then press the back arrow at the top-left of the screen
6. Press on ‘Workout Goal’ and set your daily step goal followed by pressing the back arrow
7. Press on ‘Activity’ at the bottom
Charging the battery
The Gravitate has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Firstly remove the USB cover (3).
Then connect one end of the USB charge cable to the USB connector (4) on the Gravitate
and connect the other end to your PC or USB mains adaptor. The battery will start charging.
• It takes up to 3 hours to fully charge the battery
• Whilst charging, the display (2) will show a battery with scrolling bars
• When fully charged, the display (2) will show a battery with 3 solid bars
Note: We recommend charging the battery for at least 5 hours for the fi rst charge.

8. Turn the Gravitate on by pressing and holding the FB (1) for 6 seconds
9. Once switched on, press (don’t hold) the FB (1), quickly followed by pressing the Milestone
symbol in the top-left corner (in History / Activity)
10. The Gravitate will connect and synchronise the time, date, settings and any steps that
it has picked up
11. The Gravitate will disconnect, disable Bluetooth and be ready for use

Changing modes
The Gravitate has 2 diff erent working modes, Day and Sleep. To change these modes:
1. Double press the FB (1)
2. The modes will change to ‘STEP’ (Day) or ‘SLEP’ (Sleep) modes
3. Once you have selected Step (Day) or Sleep mode, wait for the
display to turn off to select it
Using the Gravitate
Clamp the Gravitate onto your wrist. The Gravitate will count each step you take and from that
calculate the distance travelled, calories burned and how close you are to reaching your daily goal.
If you don’t plan on using the Gravitate for a period of time, press and hold the FB (1) for
6 seconds to turn the Gravitate off . To turn back on, press and hold the FB (1) for 6 seconds

3rd press: Distance travelled (km – this cannot be changed to miles even if changed in the app)
4th press: Calories burned
5th press: Daily goal percentage
6th press: Battery remaining
All presses of the FB (1) must be made whilst the display is on to cycle through the diff erent
screens. Do not double press the FB (1) as this will change modes (explained in ‘Changing modes’).
Display functions
Step (Day) mode
You can scroll through the display options on the Gravitate by pressing (don’t hold) the FB (1).
It operates as follows:
1st press: Time
2nd press: Steps taken
Note: If the display (2) turns off after seeing the Distance screen for instance, the next press
of the FB (1) will bring up Distance again. The Gravitate will not default to the Time screen.

Sleep mode
In Sleep mode, a single press of the FB (1) will show the time. There are no other menus to scroll
through. All data that is logged in Sleep mode can only be viewed when synced to your device.

App functions
History
In the ‘History’ menu, you can view more detail of your activity and sleep statistics.
Press ‘History’ to view the data. Whilst in the ‘History’ screen, you can:
• See your activity data on the top graph and your sleep data on the bottom graph
• Press and slide your fi nger on the graphs to view more specifi c details
• Change between Today/Week/Month/Year at the bottom of the screen
• Change the dates to view at the top of the screen by pressing the arrows
