The versatile MD-4 built with the most advanced On-The-Go (OTG) technology for the best adaptability
of Pen-Drives (USB-Drives) in market. The device reads MP3/WMA file stored in devices such as
Pen-drives / MP3 / CD / MD player, through USB interface or Audio terminal. Plugging the device to the
car-cigarette socket and tuning in your car stereo FM channel. You can enjoy your favorite songs via
down-loaded digital music while driving.

OPERATING NOTE
Please turn off the power when you don’t use it
When you want to plug-in or remove your Pen-Drive from this device, please turn-on or turn off first,

because the rash current may will damage your Pen-Drive
Please don’t plug-in your Pen-Drive violent
Please don’t turn around the player violent
All violent using may will cause hang-up, please re-plug-in the Pen-Drive or reset while hang-up
Please carefully operate the MP3 player when you are driving in order to avoid carelessly accident
Please plug-in the external antenna or retuning the FM channel when noise occurred
There’s severe noise occurred when close by driving near by broadcasting station, please retuning the FM
channel or turn-off the power for a while.

CONTROLS & FUNCTIONS
CHANNEL INDICATORS
An array of 4 LED’s indicates the frequency channel being set for operation
CHANNEL SELECTING KEY
Switching to set a transmitting frequency channel (on the back side)
PLAY-PAUSE KEY w/LED
1. LED lights on when plug into car cigarette charger, indicating the device is powered .
2. Insert your USB drive and MD-4 searching the music automatically.
3. LED blinks at a low rate (about 2.5" interval) when system is ready to play.
4. Pressing PLAY/PAUSE key for starting to play.
POWER/RESET KEY
Press POWER/RESET key twice to correct error
Or restart the system from default setting when system error occurred.
SKIP FORWARD KEY
Press to skip to the next track / song .

SKIP BACKWARD KEY
Press to skip to the previous track / song .
SYSTEM SET-UP
1. Start your car engine
2. Plug MD-4 in the car cigarette charger and make sure of its firm contact, while Power LED lighting.
3. Insert a music-loaded pen-drive to USB interface, or connect to your audio equipment like CD/MD/MP3
player via Aux terminal.
OPERATION
1. Select a transmitting channel.
2. Tune car-stereo FM band to receive the music from MD-4.
3. Repeat the procedure above until the best-reception frequency is found.
4. Adjust volume level of car stereo to your comfort.

USEFUL CLUES
Pen Drive incompatible
If PLAY –KEY LED keeps lit on without blinking after Pen Drive is inserted, it could be
the pen drive is not a compatible type. Please change your Pen Drive to a suitable one.
DISPLAY –KEY LED blinks with no music from car speaker.
This could be the data stored in your Pen-drive is not a MP3/WMA music format. Please check and
make sure the Pen -drive is downloaded with MP3/WMA music format.
CAUTION
Since your Car-MP3 is a delicate device using digital technology like computers, it is recommended that
following cautions are well observed to assure its proper operation:
1. Plug the device only after your car engine started to avoid possible high-current damage.
2. Plug and unplug USB pen drive gently, as rapid actions may cause the device to hang up.
Switch "RESET" key to return its normal operation in case the device hangs up.
3. Connect one source only to the device, pen-drive or audio equipment, although there are two input sockets in
the device. Input two sources simultaneously may cause the device to mal-function .
