Description
Four bike capacity 55kg, foldable, lockable, towable up to
1600kg G.T.W. Designed to fit any 50mm receiver.
IMPORTANT: Always check for 36cm to 41cm of
ground clearance for bikes on the rack. Place
installation instructions in the vehicles glove box after
installation.
Check contents of the box against the parts list to make
sure all components are included.
Tools Required
3/4” open end or socket wrench.
1” open end or socket wrench.
9/16” open end or socket wrench.
Flat blade screwdriver.
Assembly
1. Assemble horizontal bottom tube (1) into receiver hitch
as shown in Fig. 1. Tap nut plate (2) inside horizontal tube.
Align nut with holes in tube. Secure tube in receiver using
bolt hitch pin (3), 5/8” lock washer (4), hair pin (5).
2. Assemble angle plates (6) and rubber stop (7) using
1/2” - 13x3.5 screws (8) , 1/2” flat washers (9), 1/2” - 13 nuts
(10) as shown in Fig. 2. Do not completely tighten nuts at this
time.
3. Slide vertical tube (11) between angle plates as shown in
Fig. 3.
4. Secure vertical tube using 1/2” screws, washer, nut, hitch
pin (12) and hair pin as shown in Fig.4. Torque 1/2’ - 13 nuts
to position that allowed vertical tube to pivot around 1/2”
screw with slight resistance.

5. Wipe troughs of the mounting plate with alcohol to provide
a clean surface for adhesive on rubber strips (13). Remove
protective paper and apply rubber strips (13) on mounting
plate (4) as shown in Fig. 5.
7. Install assembled mounting plates onto top support (16)
using 3/8” - 16x3 screws (17), 3/8” flat washers (18), 3/8” - 16
nuts (19), 3/8” lock washers (24) as shown in Fig. 7
8. Slide assembled top support over vertical tube Fig. 8.
Secure it on the tube with 1/2” - 13x3.5 screw, 1/2” washers,
and 1/2” - 13 nut as shown in Fig. 9. Torque nut until top
support is able to rotate with slight resistance.
9. Lock top support in desired position with hitch pin and lock
pin Fig. 9.
6. Insert rubber straps (15) into openings in mounting plate
Fig. 6. Pull them through until thicker portion of the strap will
stop against bottom of mounting plate.
It is a good idea to apply small amount of lubricant to straps
to make them slide easier. Wipe lubricant off the straps after
installation.

10. Install stabilizers (20) in desired locations as shown in
Fig. 10 using 1/4” - 20x1.5 screws (21), 1/4” flat washers (22),
1/4” - 20 nuts (23).
Loading & Securing Bikes on Carrier
Place bikes in troughs on the mounting plates, alternating
directions of handlebars. Slide bike on mounting plates so
vertical tube of bikes’s frame will fit in stabilizer slot.
It is recommended to place heavier bikes closer to vertical
tube to maximize ground and trailer clearance.
Once bikes in desired position on mounting plate pull rubber
strap over bikes frame and secure to tab on the mounting
plate.
It is recommended to secure straps on tabs of the mounting
plate when they are not in use.
Use large holes in mounting plates for cable locks.
To tilt bike carrier, remover hair pin and hitch pins. Then tilt
carrier away from vehicle. Work same way to fold top support.
After folding top support can be locked in folded position
using same pins. Folding and tilting are shown on the front
page.
DO NOT TILT BIKE CARRIER OR FOLD SUPPORT WITH
BIKES MOUNTED! DO NOT TILT BIKE CARRIER WITH
Towing Instructions
When towing observe the following safety precautions.
1. Do not overload, maximum Camper/Trailer G.T.W.
1600kg, T.W. 160kg (Tow Ball not included)
2. Provide enough clearance between bikes and Camper/
Trailer. If necessary remove or fold trailer accessories
such as jacks, tool boxes to create additional space for
bikes.
Special Installations
For some vehicles special installation is necessary.
To increase clearance between rear bumper and bike carrier,
rotate angle plates (6) so vertical tube will be installed farther
from rear bumper.
