Um sicherzustellen, dass kein Wasser in Deine MIYEN eindringt und ihr Schaden zufügt,
befolge bitte die unten aufgeführten Anweisungen:
• Achte darauf, dass die Krone geschlossen ist, bevor Deine MIYEN in Kontakt mit Was-
ser kommt. Pass bitte darauf auf, dass Du die Krone vollständig festgedreht hast, bevor
Deine MIYEN mit Wasser in Berührung kommt.
• Halte die Krone verschraubt, solange Deine MIYEN sich in Kontakt mit Wasser befin-
det.
• Setze Deine MIYEN nicht extremen Umgebungen aus (z. B. heißem Wasser, Saunen
oder Schwitzstuben).
• Vermeide den Kontakt mit druckvollem Wasser (z. B. Meereswellen oder Wasserfällen).
• Nimm keine Kalendereinstellungen zwischen 18:00 und 6:00 Uhr vor, um Beschädigun-
gen des Kalendermechanismus zu vermeiden.
• Verhindere eine längere Berührung mit Salzwasser. Nach Kontakt mit Salzwasser
spüle Deine MIYEN sanft unter Leitungswasser ab und reibe sie anschließend mit
einem weichen Tuch trocken.
• Sollte das Uhrenglas von innen beschlagen oder Feuchtigkeit bilden, lass Deine MIYEN
sofort von einem Uhrmacher überprüfen. Das Wasser kann zu Korrosion und einem
Schaden der Bauteile im Uhrwerk führen.
WASSERFESTIGKEIT
Die Angabe zur Wasserdichtigkeit ist in das Ziffernblatt und in den Gehäuseboden ein-
graviert. Die Angaben zur Wasserdichtigkeit stellen Richtlinien zur angemessenen Ver-
wendung Deiner MIYEN in Kontakt mit Wasser dar, um Schäden an deren internen Bau-
teilen zu vermeiden. Bitte sieh Dir die Tabelle mit den empfohlenen Benutzungshinweisen
an.

PFLEGEHINWEIS
Um Deiner MIYEN eine möglichst lange Nutzungsdauer zu ermöglichen, beachte bitte
folgende Pflegehinweise:
• Deine MIYEN ist an der Krone verschraubt. Um die Krone zu öffnen, mußt Du diese ent-
gegen des Uhrzeigersinnes aufschrauben.
• Betätige die Krone nur leicht und langsam und ohne starke oder schnelle
Bewegungen.
• Vermeide starke Schläge auf Deine MIYEN (z.B. Herunterfallen oder Anstoßen).
• Vermeide starke elektrische Felder oder statische Elektrizität, welche das
Uhrwerk beeinträchtigen kann.
• Halte Deine MIYEN immer in einem sauberen Zustand. Reinige Deine MIYEN nur mit
einem feuchten, weichen Tuch.
• Vermeide die Benutzung von Seife oder anderen Chemikalien. Diese können die
Dichtelemente Deiner MIYEN beschädigen.
• Wir empfehlen, Deine MIYEN einmal im Jahr von einem Uhrmacher überprüfen zu
lassen, um eine lange Nutzungsdauer ohne Störungen zu gewährleisten.
• Wie bei allen hochwertigen Uhren sind die MIYEN Stahlarmbänder massiv gefertigt
und deshalb miteinander verschraubt. Wir empfehlen, Deine MIYEN von einem
Uhrmacher kürzen zu lassen und ein spontanes Lockern der Schraube durch etwas
Schraubensicherung zu verhindern.
BATTERIE
Die Lebensdauer einer neuen Batterie beträgt in der Regel etwa zwei Jahre. Wir empfeh-
len Dir, den Wechsel einer leeren oder defekten Batterie durch Deinen Uhrmacher vor-
nehmen zu lassen. Bitte stelle der Umwelt zuliebe sicher, dass Altbatterien sowie Uhren
umweltgerecht entsorgt werden. Nutze bitte entsprechende Entsorgungseinrichtungen
dafür.

GARANTIE
Auf Deine MIYEN gewähren wir ab dem Kaufdatum eine Garantie von drei Jahren gemäß
den geltenden Garantiebedingungen. Sie erstreckt sich auf Materialdefekte und Verarbei-
tungsfehler.
Die Garantie gilt für folgende Bauteile: Uhrwerk, Zeiger und Zifferblatt. Sollte eines der
vorstehend genannten Teile innerhalb der Garantiezeit bei normalem Gebrauch Material-
defekte oder Verarbeitungsfehler aufweisen, werden wir Deine MIYEN nach
unserem Ermessen entweder kostenlos reparieren oder gegen eine neue Uhr aus-
tauschen. Als Eigentumsnachweis musst Du die entsprechende Garantiekarte vorlegen.
Die Herstellergarantie bezieht sich nicht auf:
• Batterie, Gehäuse, Uhrglas, Verschluss oder Armband sowie normale
Abnutzungserscheinungen.
• Schäden durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Fahrlässigkeit, Unfall, normale
Abnutzung, unsachgemäße Reparatur, bei Fremdeingriffen, nicht fachgerechtem
Batteriewechsel, Glasbruch oder andere Umstände, die nicht auf Materialdefekte
oder Verarbeitungsfehler zurückzuführen sind.
• Uhren, die nicht bei einem autorisierten Händler gekauft wurden.
Unsere Uhren werden mit größter Präzision gefertigt. Sie besitzen technisch ausgereifte
Uhrenwerke und werden einer strengen Endkontrolle unterzogen. Sollte es doch mal zu
einem Garantiefall kommen, bitten wir Dich, eine Anfrage an [e-mail] zu sen-
den. Bitte füge eine Beschreibung und ein Foto des Mangels bei, sodass unsere Mitarbei-
ter Dir schnellstmöglich helfen können.
MIYEN hat keine festgelegten Reparaturpreise, vielmehr bestimmt der Aufwand den
Preis – soweit die Reparatur nicht unter die Garantie fällt. Sollten die Reparaturkosten
15 Euro übersteigen, erhältst Du einen Kostenvoranschlag und kannst entscheiden, ob
und welche Reparaturen durchgeführt werden sollen.
ENTSORGUNG
Quarzuhren und/oder Batterien dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll! Quarzuhren und Batterien
sind auch bei der Sammelstelle Deiner Gemeinde oder Deines Stadtteils abzugeben.
Deine MIYEN und/oder ihre Batterie kannst Du nach Gebrauch unentgeltlich bei uns
zurückgeben.

To ensure that no water gets into your MIYEN and damages it, please follow the instruc-
tions below:
• Make sure that the crown and pushers are closed before your MIYEN gets in contact
with water. Please make sure that the crown and pushers are fully tightened before the
watch gets in contact with water.
• Keep the crown and pushers screwed down while your MIYEN is in contact with water.
• Do not expose your MIYEN to extreme environments (e.g. hot water, saunas or sweat
rooms).
• Avoid contact with pressurized water (e.g. sea waves or waterfalls).
• Prevent a longer contact with salt water. After contact with salt water rinse your MIYEN
gently under tap water and then rub it dry with a soft cloth.
• If the watch glass should fog up from the inside or form moisture, have your MIYEN
checked immediately by a watchmaker. The water can lead to corrosion and a damage
of the components of the movement.
WATER RESISTANCE
The water resistance information is engraved on the dial and on the case back. The water
resistance information is a guideline for the appropriate use of your MIYEN in contact
with water to avoid damage to its internal components. Please refer to the table with the
recommended instructions for use.

MAINTENANCE NOTICE
In order to allow your MIYEN a long life time, please follow the following care instructions:
• The crown of your MIYEN is screwed. To open the crown, you have to screw it
counterclockwise.
• Operate the crown only gently and slowly and without strong or fast movements.
• Do not make any calendar adjustments between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to avoid
damaging the calendar mechanism.
• Avoid strong strokes to your MIYEN (e.g. falling or bumping).
• Avoid strong electric fields or static electricity that can affect the movement.
• Always keep your MIYEN in a clean condition. Clean the watch only with a wet and
soft towel.
• Avoid using soap or other chemicals. These can damage the sealing elements of your
MIYEN.
• We recommend to have your MIYEN checked once a year by a watchmaker to ensure a
long service life without disturbances.
• As with all high-quality watches, the MIYEN steel straps are solidly manufactured and
therefore screwed together. We recommend having your MIYEN shortened by a
watchmaker and preventing the screws from loosening spontaneously with a little
screw locking.
BATTERY
The lifetime of a new battery is usually about two years. We recommend that you have
an empty or defective battery replaced by your watchmaker. Please ensure that used
batteries and watches are disposed in an environmentally friendly manner. Please use
appropriate disposal facilities for this purpose.

WARRANTY
We offer a three years warranty on your MIYEN starting from the date of purchase in
accordance with the applicable warranty conditions. It includes material defects and
manufacturing faults.
The warranty applies to the following components: Movement, hands and dial. Should
any of the above mentioned parts show material defects or manufacturing faults during
the warranty period under normal use, we will either repair your MIYEN free of charge or
replace it with a new watch at our discretion. As proof of ownership you must present the
appropriate warranty card.
The manufacturer warranty does not apply to:
• Battery, case, crystal, clasp or strap and normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by improper handling, negligence, accident, normal wear and tear,
improper repair, by unauthorized intervention, improper battery replacement,
glass breakage or other circumstances that are not due to defects in material or
workmanship.
• Watches that were not purchased from an authorized dealer.
Our watches are manufactured with the greatest precision. They have technically mature
movements and are subjected to a strict final inspection. Should a warranty claim arise,
please send an inquiry to g[email protected].
Please include a description and a photo of the defect so that our staff can help you as
soon as possible. MIYEN has no fixed repair prices, rather the effort determines the price
- as far as the repair is not covered by the warranty. If the repair costs exceed 15 Euro, you
will receive a cost estimate and can decide if and which repairs should be performed.
DISPOSAL
Quartz watches and/or batteries must not be disposed in the household waste! Quartz
watches and batteries must also be handed in at the collection point of your municipality
or your district. You can return your MIYEN and/or its battery after use free of charge.
