IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS (1/4)
1. To protect against electrical shock, do not submerge the appliance
or allow the power cord to come into contact with water or any other
liquid.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
3. DO NOT allow young children to operate the appliance or use as a
toy. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
4. Never let the appliance operate unattended.
5. Remove the power cord from the electrical outlet when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To
unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the electrical outlet. Never pull
from the power cord.
6. DO NOT abuse the power cord. Never carry the appliance by the
power cord or yank it to disconnect from electrical outlet; instead grasp
the plug and pull to disconnect.
BEFORE USE
Before use, please read this manual carefully.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
This appliance is for household use only. When using electrical
appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
avoid res, electric shocks, burns, or other injuries and damage. Read
these operating and safety instructions carefully.

7. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any
manner.
8. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, a certied service agent or similarly qualied persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
9. DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of table or counter
or touch hot surfaces such as the stove.
10. Always use appliance on a dry, level surface. Sinks, drain boards
or uneven surfaces must be avoided.
11. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as utensils out of jar while
processing to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to
the appliance. A scraper may be used but only when the appliance is
not running.
12. CAUTION: Blade assembly is sharp, handle with care. When
handling the blade assembly, always hold by the base of the blade
assembly.
13. Avoid contact with moving parts.
14. DO NOT attempt to sharpen blades.
15. DO NOT use the appliance if blade assembly is bent or damaged.
16. To reduce risk of injury, never place the blade assembly on the
base without the proper attachment.
17. DO NOT operate this appliance on or near any hot surface (such
as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
18. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by
the manufacturer may cause re, electric shock or personal injury.
19. DO NOT remove the jar from the motor base while the appliance
is running.

20. To reduce the risk if injury, NEVER operate the appliance without
the blade assembly in place; DO NOT try to defeat the interlock
mechanism; make sure that the attachment is properly installed before
operating the appliance.

24. DO NOT operate the appliance empty.
25. If the appliance overheats, a thermal switch will become activated
and shut off the motor. To reset, unplug the appliance and let it cool
down for approximately 30 minutes before using again.
26. THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. Do
not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use. Do not
use outdoors.
27. Appliance accessories are not intended to be used in the
microwave. Do not place the jar or the lid in the microwave as it may
result in damage to the accessories.
28. Check the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the
local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
29. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, not rinse
it under the tap. Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.
30. Unplug the appliance immediately after use.
31. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
32. Always unplug the appliance before you start cleaning the
appliance.
33. Do not use the attachment that other manufacturer produces or
other parts.
34. To avoid occurring danger, please assemble product correctly.
35. Make sure the blade is securely fastened to the accessories before
you assemble them onto the motor unit.

36. Extreme caution is necessary when moving any appliance
containing hot liquids.
37. Do not use the jars in microwave.
38. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the blender as it can be
ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
NOTE: The product and its packaging have been manufactured from
valuable materials that can be recycled. This reduces the amount of
refuse and helps to preserve the environment.
Dispose of the packaging in the proper manner. Make use of the local
facilities provided for collecting paper, cardboard and lightweight
packaging by type.
WARNING: Extension cords are not recommended for use with this
product.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your appliance for the rst time, it is important that you
read and follow the instructions in this use and care booklet, even if you
feel you are familiar with this type of appliance.
Your attention is drawn in particular to the section dealing with the
appliance. Find a safe and convenient place to keep this booklet handy
for future reference. This appliance has been designed to operate from
a standard domestic power outlet. It is not intended for industrial or
commercial use. Carefully unpack the Appliance. Remove all packing
materials and either discard or retain for future use.
Ensure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that
indicated on the rating label of the appliance. Remove the plastic
accessories and wash in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly and
replace. Wipe over the exterior of the Motor Base with a damp sponge
or cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

WHEN USING THE APPLIANCE:
IMPORTANT: Attachments are interchangeable.
CAUTION: Blades are sharp! Use extreme caution when handling the
blade assemblies. Always hold them by the base of the blade assembly.

CAUTION: Never attempt to remove the jar while the appliance is still
running.
WARNING: Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
1. Remove all packaging material and labels from the appliance.
2. Wash the lids, jars and attachments in warm, soapy water with
a soft cloth. Use caution when washing the blade assemblies as the
blades are very sharp.
3. Rinse and dry thoroughly
4. Jars, lids and attachments are all dishwasher safe. It is recommended
that the lids and attachments be placed on the top rack. Ensure that
the attachments are removed from the jars before placing in the
dishwasher.
5. Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth.

Assembly
Removal
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the motor base is plugged in for use.
1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface such as a counter
or table top.
2. Make sure the unit is unplugged.
3. Add ingredients to the jar.
4. Place the blade onto the jar and twist it on tightly until you have a
good seal.(Fig. 1)

5. Turn the jar upside down and place it onto the motor base, aligning
the tabs on the jar with the motor base, aligning the tabs on the jar with
the motor base. Turn it clockwise, the unit is ready for use.(Fig. 3)
6. When you have reached your desired consistency, stop the
appliance by turning the jar counterclockwise(Fig. 4) and pull straight
up to remove.(Fig. 5)
NOTE: Do not overll! To avoid spilling, do not add ingredients past
the “Max” ll line.
7. Turn the jar upright and remove the Blade Assembly by twisting the
blade assembly counterclockwise. Be sure to store the Blade Assembly
attached to an empty jar when not in use.
8. Place the Sip & Seal lid onto the jar, twist to seal and enjoy!
9. Make sure that the motor base is unplugged when not in use.
SAFETY FEATURES
Built-in safety lock
The blender has a built-in safety lock feature, this ensures that you can
only switch on the appliance while the cup and the blade subassembly
are assembled on the motor base securely. If the appliance is correctly
assembled, the built-in safety lock will be unlocked.
IMPORTANT: In the base of each blade’s collar, there is a silicone
gasket seal that creates an airtight t with the jars. After dishwashing
and before each use, always check to make sure the gasket is properly
in place, as the heat from some dishwashers may cause the gasket to
become loose.
WARNING: Do not operate the motor continuously for more than
60 seconds at a time. Allow the motor to rest for 180 seconds before
continuing.
NOTICE: If the blade is not running smoothly, stop the product and add
some liquid, or reduce the ingredients in the cup.
NOTE: To prevent product overheating, dry ingredients must not be
processed for more than 30 seconds at a time.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
HOW TO CLEAN
CAUTION: Make Sure that the motor base is unplugged from the power source
before inserting or removing any attachment and before cleaning.
NOTICE: Wait until the blender has cooled down sufciently before cleaning it.
CAUTION: DO NOT immerse the motor base into water or any liquid, or place
into a dishwasher.
1. Separate/remove all parts from each other.
2. Clean the motor base with a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry
3. Place jars in the dishwasher. Place the lids and attachments on the top rack.
Use caution when handling the blade assemblies as the blades are very sharp.
4. Whenever possible, rinse parts immediately after processing to make cleanup
easier.
5. Store the product in a cool, dry place.
NOTE:
You may also wash the jars by lling the jar to the Max ll line with warm water
and drop of dish washing detergent, placing the blade assembly on the jar and
pulsing a few times. Do not ll the jar more than Max ll line with water because
it will overow. Once clean, remove the jar from the motor base. Rinse the jar,
attachment and lid under running water. Allow all the parts to dry before storing.
Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as
petrol, alcohol or acetone to clean the appliance
All detachable accessories can be cleaned in dishwasher.
Tips:
Use a small brush(not included) to remove particles of food lodged underneath
the blades.
If some leftover particles dry onto the inside of the jar, ll the cup about 2/3 full
with warm water and attach the blade subassembly. Place the jar and blade
subassembly onto the motor base and operate the appliance for about 20-30
seconds to help loosen the stuck ingredients. Repeat the above step but use clean
tap water. Empty blender and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Do not try attempt to remove blades from the Blade subassembly for
cleaning.

HOW TO STORE
1. Store the appliance upright. Do not place anything on top.
2. Store the jars and the rest of the attachments along side the
appliance where they will not be damaged and won’t cause a hazard.
3. Remove and empty the jar and ensure that no food is jamming the
cutting blades.
4. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 30 minutes.
5. Re-install the jar onto the base and re-plug the appliance into the
electric outlet.
6. Proceed to use the appliance as before while making sure not to
exceed the recommended maximum jar capacities.

TROUBLESHOOTING
- Engine does not start or attachment does not rotate.
Make sure the tabs of the cups are in the notches and turned clockwise.
- Food is cut unevenly.
You cut too much food at once or you do not pulse properly. Reduce the
amount of food in the cup.
- Food is cut too ne or too watery.
The food is processed too much. Do not use the appliance for as long
for better results.
- You cannot make snow from ice cubes.
For best results, use ice straight from the freezer. Try to use the device
briey several times instead of one long time.
Make sure the cup is completely dry before adding the ice.
- The cup is leaking.
Make sure that your lid or blade unit is correctly mounted on the baker.
Leakage can occur if it gets out of position while mounting on the cup.
Turn the lid slightly clockwise.
- The device does not switch on.
Make sure the device is connected to the power outlet.
Check that the blade unit is correctly mounted on the cup and has not
moved out of position.
- The device does not switch off.
Unplug the power cord and contact customer service for support.
- The appliance does not mix well.
Pulse the ingredients for best results. Press the cup at short intervals to
blend and cut evenly. With frozen ingredients, pulse repeatedly for 2-5
seconds.
- Lid / knife unit does not connect properly to the cup.
Place the cup on a at surface. Place the lid or blade unit on top of the
cup and position the threads so that the lid / blades are at on the cup.
Turn clockwise so the lid / blades stay ush with the cup until you have
a good seal.

Dispose of the device over a registered waste disposal rm or through
your communal waste disposal facility.

1. Om de kans op een elektrische schok te voorkomen, mag het
apparaat niet worden ondergedompeld en mag de stroomkabel niet in
contact komen met water of andere vloeistoffen.
2. Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (waaronder
kinderen) met beperkte fysieke, sensorische of mentale capaciteiten, of
met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan of
instructies hebben gekregen met betrekking tot het veilig gebruik van
het apparaat door een persoon met verantwoordelijkheid voor hun
veiligheid.
3. Jonge kinderen mogen het apparaat NIET gebruiken, ook niet als
speelgoed. Scherp toezicht is vereist wanneer het apparaat wordt
gebruikt door of in de buurt van kinderen.
4. Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het actief is.
5. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet in gebruik
is, voordat u onderdelen opzet of verwijdert en voordat u het
schoonmaakt. Haal de stekker eruit door de plug uit het stopcontact te
trekken. Trek nooit aan de kabel.
6. Gebruik de kabel ALLEEN zoals bedoeld. Draag het apparaat nooit
aan de kabel en trek niet aan de kabel om de stekker uit het contact te
halen; houd de plug vast en trek om de stekker eruit te halen.

7. Gebruik NOOIT een apparaat met beschadigde kabel of
stekkerplug, nadat het apparaat storingen heeft vertoond, is gevallen of
op een andere manier is beschadigd.
8. Als de kabel is beschadigd, moet deze worden vervangen door
de producent, een gekwaliceerde monteur of een vergelijkbaar
gekwaliceerd persoon om gevaar te voorkomen.
9. Laat de stroomkabel NIET over de rand van de tafel of het
keukenblad hangen of hete oppervlaktes aanraken, zoals het fornuis.
10. Gebruik het apparaat altijd op een droog en vlak oppervlak.
Vermijd gootstenen, droogrekken of oneffen oppervlakken.
11. Houd handen, haar, kleding en keukengerei buiten de beker tijdens
de bewerking om het risico op ernstig letsel aan personen of schade
aan het apparaat te beperken. Een schraper mag alleen worden
gebruikt wanneer het apparaat niet actief is.
12. PAS OP: De messenunit is scherp, gebruik deze voorzichtig. Houd
alleen het voetstuk van de messenunit vast.
13. Vermijd contact met bewegende onderdelen.
14. Probeer de messen NIET te slijpen.
15. Gebruik het apparaat NIET als de messenunit is verbogen of
beschadigd is geraakt.
16. Om het risico op letsel te beperken, mag de messenunit nooit
zonder goede bevestiging op het apparaat worden geplaatst.
17. Bedien dit apparaat NIET op of in de buurt van hete oppervlakten
(zoals een gasfornuis of elektrische kookplaat of in een verwarmde
oven).
18. Het gebruik van opzetstukken of accessoires die niet zijn
aanbevolen of verkocht door de producent kan leiden tot brand,
elektrische schokken of persoonlijk letsel.
19. Haal de beker NIET van de motorvoet terwijl het apparaat actief is.

20. Om het risico op letsel te beperken, mag het apparaat NOOIT worden gebruikt
wanneer de messenunit niet is geplaatst; probeer het vergrendelmechanisme NIET te
omzeilen; zorg dat het opzetstuk correct is gemonteerd voordat u het apparaat gebruikt.
21. Stel de bekers niet bloot aan extreme veranderingen in temperatuur.
22. PAS OP: BEWERK GEEN HEET VOEDSEL OF HETE VLOEISTOFFEN MET DIT
APPARAAT.
23. Vul het apparaat niet te vol.
24. Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder inhoud.
25. Als het apparaat oververhit raakt, activeert er een thermische schakelaar en
schakelt de motor af. Om deze schakelaar te resetten, haalt u de stekker uit het
stopcontact en laat u het apparaat voor ongeveer 30 minuten afkoelen voordat u het
weer gebruikt.
26. DIT PRODUCT IS ALLEEN BEDOELD VOOR HUISHOUDELIJK GEBRUIK. Gebruik dit
product alleen voor het beoogde gebruik. Gebruik het niet buiten.
27. Accessoires van het apparaat zijn niet geschikt voor gebruik in de magnetron.
Plaats de beker of de deksel niet in de magnetron; dit kan de accessoires beschadigen.
28. Controleer of de voltage aangegeven op het apparaat overeenkomt met de lokale
netspanning voordat u het apparaat ermee verbindt.
29. Dompel de motorunit nooit onder water of in een andere vloeistof, spoel het ook
niet af onder de kraan. Gebruik alleen een vochtige doek om de motorunit te reinigen.
30. Haal de stekker van het apparaat meteen uit het stopcontact na gebruik.
31. Houd het apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen.
32. Haal altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt.
33. Gebruik alleen de opzetstukken of andere onderdelen die door de producent zijn
gemaakt.
34. Zet het product correct in elkaar om gevaar te voorkomen.
35. Zorg dat de messen goed vastzitten aan het opzetstuk voordat u deze op de
motorunit plaatst.

36. Wees uiterst voorzichtig bij het bewegen van een apparaat met
hete vloeistoffen.
37. Plaats de bekers niet in de magnetron.
38. Wees voorzichtig met het gieten van hete vloeistoffen in de
blender; de vloeistof kan uit het apparaat worden geworpen doordat
het plotseling begint te stomen.
OPMERKING: Het product en het verpakkingsmateriaal is gemaakt
van waardevolle materialen die kunnen worden gerecycled. Dit
vermindert de hoeveelheid afval en helpt het milieu te behouden.
Gooi de verpakking op de juiste manier weg. Maak gebruik van
plaatselijke diensten voor het verzamelen van papier, karton en
lichtgewichtverpakkingen.
WAARSCHUWING: Het gebruik van verlengsnoeren in combinatie
met dit product wordt afgeraden.

OPMERKING: Opzetstukken zijn verwisselbaar.

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
Voordat u uw apparaat de eerste keer gebruikt, is het van belang dat u
de instructies in dit gebruiks- en onderhoudsboekje leest en opvolgt, zelf
als u al bekend bent met dit type apparaat.
We vragen u met name te letten op de sectie over het apparaat.
Plaats dit boekje op een veilige en handige plek, zodat u het in de
toekomst kunt raadplegen. Dit apparaat is ontworpen voor gebruik
met een standaard huishoudelijk stopcontact. Het is niet bedoeld voor
industrieel of commercieel gebruik. Haal het apparaat voorzichtig uit
de verpakking. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal en gooi deze op
de juiste manier weg, of bewaar het voor toekomstig gebruik.
Zorg dat de voltage van uw lokale stroomnetwerk hetzelfde is als de
voltage op het typeplaatje van het apparaat. Verwijder de plastic
accessoires en was deze in warm zeepsop. Droog ze grondig af en zet
ze weer op het apparaat. Veeg de buitenkant van de motorvoet af met
een vochtige spons of doek. Gebruik geen schurende middelen.
HOUD DEZE BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN IN
ACHT WANNEER U HET APPARAAT GEBRUIKT:
BELANGRIJK: Opzetstukken zijn verwisselbaar.
PAS OP: Messen zijn scherp! Wees uiterst voorzichtig wanneer u een
messenunit gebruikt. Houd de messenunit altijd vast bij de basis.
BELANGRIJK: Laat het apparaat nooit draaien zonder inhoud.
PAS OP: Probeer nooit de beker te verwijderen terwijl het apparaat
nog actief is.
WAARSCHUWING: Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht achter
wanneer het actief is.
1. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal en alle labels van het
apparaat.
2. Was de deksels, bekers en opzetstukken in warm zeepsop met een
zachte doek. Wees voorzichtig bij het wassen van de messenunit,
omdat de messen zeer scherp zijn.
3. Spoel af en droog grondig af.
4. De bekers, deksel en opzetstukken zijn allemaal geschikt voor de
vaatwasser. We raden u aan om de deksels en opzetstukken in het
bovenste rek te plaatsen. Haal de opzetstukken uit de bekers voordat u
deze in de vaatwasser plaatst.
5. Veeg de motorvoet schoon met een vochtige doek.

Montage
Demontage
BELANGRIJK: Zorg dat de motorvoet is verbonden met het
stopcontact voor gebruik.
1. Plaats de motorvoet op een schoon, droog en vlak oppervlak, zoals
een keukenblad of tafelblad.
2. Controleer dat het apparaat niet is verbonden met het stopcontact.
3. Voeg ingrediënten toe in de beker.
4. Plaats de messen in de beker en draai ze strak tot deze goed sluiten.
(Fig. 1)

5. Keer de beker ondersteboven en plaats deze op de motorvoet;
let er hierbij op dat de lipjes op de beker op één lijn komen met de
motorvoet. Draai met de klok mee; het apparaat is nu klaar voor
gebruik. (Fig. 3)
6. Wanneer u de gewenste consistentie heeft bereikt, stopt u het
apparaat door de beker tegen de klok in te draaien (Fig. 4) en til de
beker recht naar boven om deze te verwijderen. (Fig. 5)
LET OP: Vul niet te vol! Om verspilling te voorkomen, dient u niet tot
boven de lijn “Max” te vullen.
7. Draai de beker weer rechtop en verwijder de messenunit door deze
tegen de klok in te draaien. Bewaar de messenunit gemonteerd op een

8. Plaats de Sip & Seal deksel op de beker, draai deze vast en
genieten maar!
9. Zorg dat de stekker van de motorvoet uit het stopcontact is als u
deze niet gebruikt.
VEILIGHEIDSFUNCTIES
Ingebouwd veiligheidsslot
De blender heeft een ingebouwd veiligheidsslot, waardoor u het
apparaat alleen kan aanzetten wanneer u de beker en de messenunit
correct op de motorvoet heeft geplaatst. Als u het apparaat correct
in elkaar heeft gezet, ontgrendelt het ingebouwde veiligheidsslot
automatisch.
BELANGRIJK: In de rand van ieder mesje zit een siliconen
afdichtingsmiddel dat een luchtdichte afsluiting creëert met de
bekers. Controleer na het schoonmaken en voor ieder gebruik altijd
of de afdichting nog goed op zijn plaats zit; de warmte in sommige
vaatwassers kan ervoor zorgen dat de afdichting losraakt.
WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik de motor niet langer dan 60 seconden
zonder pauze. Indien dit gebeurt, moet de motor 180 seconden
afkoelen voordat u het apparaat weer kunt gebruiken.
OPMERKING: Als de messenunit niet soepel draait, stop de
handeling dan en voeg wat vloeistof toe of verminder de hoeveelheid
ingrediënten in de beker.
OPMERKING: Om oververhitting te voorkomen, mogen droge
ingrediënten niet langer dan 30 seconden aaneengesloten worden
bewerkt.
