Transport
This appliance should not be put reverse or lying down during transport. The gap between the appliance and
ground must be equal or more that 4 degree put the appliance vertically for 2 hours before first operation.
Disposal
Please ensure the old or redundant appliance and equipment are disposed safely and legally. We recommend
to remove the door first for safety.
Unpacking
Remove all external and internal packaging and accessories, ensure the material is disposed safely.
Ventilation
Ensure the room for this appliance has adequate ventilation because this appliance generates a considerable
amount of heat. Installing this appliance in small-unventilated room in warm weather will cause the room
temperature to excessive. This will cause overheating on the compressor, possibly damage the coil, and make
the appliance consumes more energy.
Electricity Connection
Please use the professional plug with a grounding function to ensure safety. If you find any damage of plug
and power cord, it is recommended to contact MODENA Call Center to replace the parts. If the appliance is
tipped over or reverse, please do not turn on the switch immediately. Put the product vertically for 2 hours,
then turn on the switch.
Avoid direct sunlight or close to a direct source of heat
Avoid the appliance from direct sunlight or close to source of heat such as cooker, oven or radiator.
Place the appliance in a flat and stable area
Place the appliance on a flat and stable area to support the weight of the appliance.
Water Connection
Connect the water inlet to a clean water source. Make sure the water is safe and drinkable.
Connect the water drainage pipe to water outlet connector.
1. At the first operation or after a period of inactivity, please discard the first two batches of ice.
2. Press the power switch to the ON position. The Switch light illuminates and the appliance starts to work. The first
5 minutes is used for the self-inspection of the appliance. Then it will begin the ice making process.
3. As soon as the ice storage cabinet is full, the “ICE FULL” indicator on the display panel will illuminate and the

appliance will stop automatically. Production resumes once ice has been removed form the cabinet.
4. If water supply is insufficient, the “WATER LOW” indicator will illuminate and the ice production stops.
5. If any error or failure occurs, the “FAULT” indicator will illuminate and the ice production stops.
6. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from power supply (Pull the power plug) when it is not in use.
7. Do not turn on the appliance immediately after it stops automatically (caused by insufficient water supply, full ice
storage cabinet, current interruption). Wait for apprroximately 3-5 minutes before restart it to avoid damages of
the compressor.
8. If the appliance is not used for a longer period of time, drain the water from water cabinet by the drain screw at
the back of the appliance (for the model which has no drain screw, wipe dry the water cabinet using a dry cloth.
1. Always switch off and disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
2. Warm soap solution is recommended for cleaning. Cleaning agents may leave harmful residues.
3. Do not wash the appliance, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
4. Regularly check the water outlet and inlet to make sure there are no leaks.
5. If the product will be unused for a long period, wipe the ice storage cabinet with clean cloth.
6. Turn off the power and disconnect the power plug when the product is not used.
7. When plugging or uplugging, the plug should be held by hand and the wires should not be dragged heavily.
8. If product is damaged or malfunction, please contact MODENA Call Center.

Ice storage capacity depends on the water temperature and condition, and ambient temperature. The capacity
listed is tested using 10°C water temperature and 15°C ambient temperature. For water and ambient temperature
above the liisted will make the ice storage capacity be lower based on the differences.
