3.0 Product maintenance
3.1 Restarting the unit
Unless a fault occurs and you have spoken to Customer Support, please avoid shutting down
the battery. If you have been advised to switch o your device, please follow the below steps.
1. Turn the isolator switch that connects the battery to
the mains in the house from the ON to the OFF position.
If your battery was installed with a red and yellow isolator
switch like the one shown on the right, this will involve
turning the red switch anti-clockwise from ON to OFF.
2. Once the switch is o, you should expect the screen
to go black.
Before restarting the unit, please leave the isolator switch in
the OFF position for 30 seconds. Then turn the isolator switch
back to ON. Once the product restarts the screen should turn
back on.
3.2 How to know the battery is working as expected
One simple way of understanding if your battery is working as expected is by looking at the
Moixa Dashboard. The Moixa Dashboard shows you real-time information about your solar
panel & battery system, therefore you should expect to see the amount of energy stored in your
battery increasing and decreasing throughout the day. If you are unsure if your battery is working
correctly, please contact Customer Support.
Through the Moixa GridShare Software (which makes your battery smart) our Moixa team is
also alerted when your battery is not working as expected. If your device is agged as working
incorrectly, our Support Team will remotely monitor your device and then try to resolve the issue
remotely. If we are not able to x the issue remotely, we may need to come and make some
changes to your battery. In this scenario, we will reach out to you and arrange for one of our
Moixa Accredited Installers to visit and resolve the issue.
