DE – Gebrauchsanleitung für AX - Filter Art. 9600 Wichtige Hinweise für den
Anwender ACHTUNG Diese Anleitung ist nur in Verbindung mit den entspre-
chenden Anleitungen zu Filtern und Maskenkörpern der Moldex Serie 7000
und Serie 9000 gültig. Die Nichtbeachtung dieser Hinweise zur Benutzung
des Produktes und das Nichttragen des Atemschutzes im schadstoffbelasteten
Bereich kann die Gesundheit des Benutzers beeinträchtigen und zu bleibenden
Schäden führen. Gegen verschiedene Niedrigsieder (Gruppe 3+4) bieten AX-
Filter keinen ausreichenden Schutz. Bei Fragen zur Anwendung des AX-Filters
wenden Sie sich bitte an Moldex-Metric. Allgemeines Aufgrund des geringen
Filtergewichtes von unter 150 g pro Filter (Kombination) sind alle Filter sowohl
mit der Vollmaske als auch mit der Halbmaske einsetzbar. Neue Filter in der
Originalverpackung, in nicht schadstoffbelasteter Umgebung, geschützt vor
Sonneneinstrahlung und Hitze aufbewahren. Beschädigte Filter nicht benutzen.

Lebensdauer der AX- Kartuschen AX-Filter sind für den einmaligen Gebrauch be-
stimmt. Bereits benutzte Filter dürfen maximal während einer Arbeitsschicht (inner-
halb von max. 8 Stunden) wiederverwendet werden. Wenn bei der Verwendung
Gerüche von Gasen oder Dämpfen bemerkbar werden, sind die Gasfilter er-
schöpft und müssen ausgetauscht werden (spätestens jedoch nach Ablauf einer
Schicht = maximal 8 Stunden). Die Filter sind immer paarweise auszutauschen.
Das Ablaufdatum (use-by-date) ist zu beachten. Einsatzgebiete für AX-Filter AX-
Filter werden zum Schutz gegen Niedrigsieder (Siedepunkt ≤ 65°C) verwendet.
Niedrig siedende Gase binden generell schlecht an Gasfilter, daraus können
kürzere Einsatzzeiten resultieren. Ein Einsatz gegen Gemische von Niedrigsie-
dern oder gegen Gemische von Niedrigsiedern mit anderen organischen Verbin-
dungen ist grundsätzlich unzulässig, da mit Verdrängungseffekten zu rechnen ist.
AX-Filter können auch als A2-Filter eingesetzt werden. In diesem Fall dürfen sie
aber nicht auch gegen Niedrigsieder zum Einsatz gelangen. Jegliche Gewähr-
leistung entfällt, wenn das Produkt nicht entsprechend den in dieser Anweisung
gegebenen Vorschriften gelagert, verwendet, gepflegt und gewartet oder nicht
gemäß den einschlägigen Bestimmungen eingesetzt wird.

Niedrigsieder werden in folgende 4 Gruppen eingeteilt: Gruppe 1 (Gr.1) -

sige Einsatzkonzentrationen und -zeiten: 100ml/m3 für max. 40 Min., 500ml/
m3 für max. 20 Min. Gruppe 2 (Gr.2) - Niedrigsieder, gegen die Schutz durch
AX-Filter erreichbar ist – maximal zulässige Einsatzkonzentrationen und -zeiten:
1000ml/m3 für max. 60 Min., 5000ml/m3 für max. 20 Min. Gruppe 3 (Gr.3) -
Niedrigsieder, gegen die kein Schutz durch AX-Filter erreichbar ist; sondern
gegen die z.B. durch Typ „B“ oder „K“- Filter Schutz erreichbar ist. Gruppe 4
(Gr.4) - Niedrigsieder, gegen die kein Schutz durch AX-Filter erreichbar ist; die
nicht oder nicht ausreichend an Gasfilter zu binden sind.

for Users CAUTION This manual is only valid in conjunction with the relevant
manuals for the Moldex filters and face pieces of Series 7000 and Series
9000. Failure to comply with these instructions on how to use the product and
failure to wear the respiratory protection in the polluted area may negatively
impact on the health of the user and lead to permanent injury. Against some
low-boiling substances AX-filters offer insufficient protection (Group 3 + 4). If
you have any question about how to use the AX-filter, please contact Moldex-
Metric. Installing/replacing the gas filter cartridges and storage Due to the
low weight of filters (below 150 g per filter) they can both be used either with
full face mask or half mask. Keep unused filters sealed in a dry, uncontami-
nated environment. Protect them against sunlight and sources of heat. Do not

cartridges AX- filters are made for single use only. Filters which are already
opened or in use should be used for a maximum of one single shift (change no
later than after one single shift = maximum 8 hours). If you can smell gases or
vapors when you use the gas filters, they are exhausted and must be replaced
immediately. The filters must always be replaced in pairs. You must adhere to
the use-by-date. Range of application of AX-Filter AX- filters are used to protect
against vapors of low-boiling substances (boiling point ≤ 65°C). Low-boiling
gases generally bind poorly with gas filters, this may result in shorter periods in
service. Please refer to the relevant national regulations for information about
the maximum permissible application concentrations and times for the individ-
ual compounds. Only use with vapors with good warning properties. Do not
use AX- filters against mixtures of low-boiling substances or against mixtures of
low-boiling substances and other organic combinations as these mixtures can
cause an overcrowding effect which could prevent the AX-filter from protecting
against all the substances within the mixture. AX-filters can also be used as
A2-filters, in this case you must not use them against low-boiling substances. All
warranties are void if the product is not stored, used, maintained and serviced
according to the instructions provided here or if the product is not used in ac-
cordance with the relevant regulations.

valable qu’en association avec les notices concernant l’utilisation des filtres et
pièces faciales des séries 7000 et 9000 Moldex. La non-observation des ins-
tructions d’utilisation et le non-respect de l’obligation de port de ces protections
respiratoires en zones polluées peuvent avoir un impact négatif sur la santé de
l’utilisateur et conduire à des dommages irréversibles. Contre certaines subs-
tances ayant un point d’ébullition bas les filtres AX n’offrent pas une protection

à leur faible poids (moins de 150 g par filtre) les filtres peuvent être montés
indifféremment sur le masque complet ou sur le demi-masque. Conservez les
filtres non utilisés dans un environnement sec et non contaminé. Protégez-les
des rayonnements solaires et des sources de chaleur. N’utilisez pas de filtres

de vie des filtres anti-gaz AX Les filtres AX ne doivent être utilisés qu’une seule
fois. Les filtres déjà ouverts ou en cours d’usage ne doivent être utilisés que
pour la durée d’un poste de travail (changez après chaque poste = maximum
8 heures). Si vous percevez une odeur de gaz ou de vapeurs en utilisant les
filtres anti-gaz, cela signifie qu’ils sont saturés et qu’ils doivent être changés
immédiatement. Les filtres doivent toujours être changés par paire. Vous devez
respecter la date limite d’utilisation. Champ d’application des filtres AX Les
filtres sont utilisés contre des vapeurs de substances ayant un point d’ébullition
bas (≤ 65°C). Ces gaz ayant un bas point d’ébullition se fixent généralement
difficilement aux filtres anti-gaz, cela se traduit donc par une courte période
de service des filtres. SVP, se référer aux législations nationales pour toutes
informations sur les concentrations et temps d’exposition maximales autorisées
pour chaque composé. A n’utiliser que contre des vapeurs ayant des proprié-
tés d’alerte. N’utilisez pas les filtres AX contre des mélanges de substances à
faible point d’ébullition ou autres combinai-sons organiques, cela peut engen-
drer un effet de surcharge qui peut empêcher le filtre de protéger de tous les
polluants contenus dans le mélange. Les filtres AX peuvent aussi être utilisés
comme filtres A2, dans ce cas vous ne devez pas les utiliser contre des subs-
tances à faible point d’ébullition. Il y a perte de garantie si le produit n’est
pas stocké, utilisé et entretenu conformément aux instructions fournies ou si le
produit n’est pas utilisé conformément à la législation en vigueur.
