2.7 If 3G router has 5V power supply or 12V DC, it is ecessary to use recomme ded
power i verter

3. Cabling installation
3.1. duri g cabli g i stallatio respect the followi g pri ciples::
During cabling installation do not forget that cables of DVD, navigation,
satelite, microphone, switches, GSM, GPS, Wi-fi, cameras has not to be
installed additionally
oI all of ways duri g pla i g a d co ducti g of cables you have to pay atte tio
to protect them from mecha ical damage
oFor cable co ducti g use mai ly existi g space i structure
oAll cables have to be co ducted i protectio strips or i protectio cables (figure
1.4.3 till 1.4.6)
oPay atte tio to the cable e try to the holes i vehicle structure
oKeep the mi imal 5 mm be di g radius
oDuri g the i stallatio procedure do ot co duct the cables through sharp edges.

ATTENTION! Every o e co ductor goi g from HUB has to be faste with cable tie o
HUB bracket FMS037-Hxxxx !! – DO NOT FASTEN IT ON THE SEAT STRUCTURE
OR VEHICLE STRUCTURE !! (fig. 3.1.5)
oCables have to be faste to the structure with cable ties (figure 1.2.7) or cable
clips (figure 1.2.6) as such i tervals that the cables while drivi g do ot cause
oise a d the free parts will be ot defected by vibratio .
oPay atta tio for crimpi g of power co ectors (cable eyes, co ectors co tacts),
use o ly the prescribed tools a d worki g procedures.
After i serti g the co ector plug i to the correspo di g socket o the device it should make
a "click" , check the appropriate te sio if the fu ctio ality of locki g system is correct
3.2. Black power co ector co ect to the origi al grou d poi t i the vehicle.
3.3. Red power co ector co ect to the mai wiri g 12/24V after disco ector (i the
directio from battery), ot co trolled by ig itio key a d i depe de t o the motor
side.
3.4. Supplied cables should be shorte ed ear powerbox a d the co tacts have to crimp
with recomme ded crimpi g tool (figure 1.2.2) a d get i to co ector K1 a d
accordi g the scheme ( figure 3.2.1, 3.2.3, 3.2.5.)
According the delivery note you make sure under which variant you will run
the installation (FMS037-S01 ~ ...S03)

3.7. Pay attention, that cable from Gigaport1 server was co ected i to i put of first
HUB ( Gigaport co ector o side for mo itor co ectors) a d the output of HUB was
co ected with cables with i put of ext HUB.
This procedure apply for co ectio of all HUBs
Co ectio of Capture Boxes is ecessary to do accordi g figure 3.7.1. it mea s co ect it
from the „last“ HUB from your seque ce.
With cabli g FMS-CA05-xxxxx co ect the output of LAN o Capture Box with o e of the six
mo itor co ectors o the HUB.
With cabli g FMS-CA07-xxxxx co ect 3G router with Gigaportom 2 o side of the server.

4. . Installation control
4.1. After tur i g o the power a d time for server booti g ( about 2 mi .) you should
co trol LED status o the port of Gigaport 1 server – gree LED has to light steady,
ora ge might irregularly flash. If it is ot like that, you have to co trol the co ectio
of Gigala etwork (correct ess of co ectio of i put or outputs of HUB)
4.2. For checki g of the umerical scheme of HUBs a d mo itors is ecessary to tur o
the system a d the accordi g this data fill out the warra ty card
4.3. O the Powerbox remove P1 fuse a d i to warra ty card write the positio of
mo itors which are tur ed off i this situatio , write also the seat umber, u der
which seat umber are co ected i to HUB accordi g fuse P1 a d write
these umbers o to Gigala cables. They are co ected to i put a d output
of correspo di g HUB (figure 4.3.1)
