IoT Air Conditioner Controller (SL11S)
This IoT AC controller is designed to control infrared AC devices specially
(Mini-Split, Windows AC and Portable ACS), it included the touch panel
control and APP control together, User can control the air conditioner
even without WIFI, allowing you to get rid of the traditional AC remote
control.

Quick Start Guide
1. Download ‘MOMAX Smart’ APP
Download “MOMAX Smart” from iOS App Store, Android Google
Play Store or other platforms. Then, enable the Bluetooth function on
your phone.
2. Register
Register an account and log in using your mobile number or email
address.
3. Wireless Pairing
Mobile : Turn on the Bluetooth and connect with 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network
from mobile.
Device : Connect USB power with the product, please make sure the
LED indicator is blinking rapidly. if not, hold the reset button for
about 5s till indicator blink rapidly.
APP : Regular Mode – Click “+”to add new device on APP, then the
app will pop up an icon, click “ Add ” ,and it will be connected
automatically.
Wi-Fi Mode - Click “+”to add new device on APP, and Select “IoT AC
controller ” from APP list, make sure the LED indicator is blinking slowly,
if not, hold the reset button for about 5s till indicator is blinking slowly.
enter Wi-Fi name and password. Connect your mobile to device’s
hotspot: “ SmartLife-XXXX ”, then click to return to App’s interface, it
will connect Wi-Fi automatically.
• This product cannot be paired directly through the Bluetooth list of the mobile
phone.
• The pairing process may take 2 minutes, please do not perform other operation.
4. Successfully connected
Once the connection is completed, you can edit the name of the
product.

1. What A/C can be
controlled by IoT AC
controller?
User can control Air-conditioner with
38KHz Infrared Frequency signal. It
supports most of the A/C model on the
market, for those A/C ‘s brand does not
include in the existing IR code database,
user can implement the “learn” feature
to copy the buttons of the remote control
from different brands. For details, please
refer to user guide.
2. When the temperature
and humidity on the
App is more accurate?
After the first setup, Please wait 30
minutes until the reading to be close to
actual ambient environment. Keep it
away from any heat source.
3. What should i do when
device configuration
process fail?
1) Check whether the product is powered
on or not.
2) Check whether your mobile phone is
connected to 2.4GHz wifi network and
turn on Bluetooth.
3) Check your network connectivity,
make sure the Wi-Fi router is working
properly.
4) Make sure the wifi password is correct.
4. The IR signal can go
through walls or be
used to control devices
in upstairs/downstairs
rooms?
IR (infrared) cannot penetrate walls or
obstacles,It is recommended to ensure
there are no obstacles between the
remote and the device being controlled
when using IR remote control.

5. What should we do
when we can not use
product to control
A/C?
Please check the following:
1) IR remote network is in good condition
Click any key on the remote-control
panel on the app and check whether
the indicator light starts flashing. If it
flashes, it indicates to work properly.
2) There are no obstacles or barriers
between the IR remote and the device.
3) Make sure the desired remote control
of electric device is IR signal controller.
For testing , You can cover the top of
the IR remote with hand or any objects,
then press any keys of the remote
control, if the device does not response,
it is IR based. Otherwise, it is Bluetooth
or RF based remote control.
6. Can we control the A/C
by using touch sensing
panel even the Wifi
signal lost?
After you matched the AC buttons
successfully in app, and its code library
is downloaded, you can still control the
AC by pressing the touch buttons on
the screen when the network Smart AC
Controller connected is offline.
7. Why the temperature
and humidity ‘s reading
to be freeze when
backlight is triggered ?
When the backlight is triggered, the
temp and humidity on the screen will be
locked for 2 mins, if backlight is triggered
again within 2 mins, the temperature
and humidity on the screen will be locked
for no more than 15 mins, the temp and
humidity display will return to normal after
unlocking.
When the backlight is off, the screen
will display real-time temperature and
humidity. if the ambient temperature
change 0.3°C, or the humidity change
>3%, the screen will immediately
synchronize the temperature and
humidity with the APP. Otherwise,
it will take 1 min to synchronize the
temperature and humidity with the APP.

Points for attention
Before using, please read this user manual carefully and keep it for future
reference.
1. Do not dismantle or modify the product.
2. Do not store the product in wet conditions.
3. Do not keep or use the product near heat sources.
4. Please only connect the product with the adaptor provided.

快速入門指南
1. 下載“MOMAX Smart”應用程式

空調？

6. 為什麼觸發背光
時溫度和濕度
讀數會被”凍
結”？
當背光被觸發時，溫度和濕度讀數將被鎖定2分鐘,
如2分鐘內再次觸發屏幕背光，讀數將被鎖定不超過
15分鐘，溫度和濕度顯示恢復正常。
背光關閉時，屏幕會實時顯示溫度和濕度。如果環
境溫度變化 0.3℃，或濕度變化>3%，屏幕會立即
同步溫度和濕度到應用程序。否則，同步到APP過
程需要 1 分鐘時間。
7. Wifi 信號丟失
時，我們可以使
