Steckdosenleiste
Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Diese Steckdosenleiste ist speziell für den Ein-
bau in ein Rack (482mm/19") konzipiert und
dientzurVerteilungderNetzspannungaufbiszu
achtineinemRackeingesetzte Geräte.DieLeis-
tungsaufnahme eines einzelnen Gerätes darf
1380VA (6A) nicht überschreiten und die Leis-
tungsaufnahme aller Geräte zusammen nicht
3680VA (16A).
Die Steckdosenleiste ist mit acht Schuko-
steckdosen ausgestattet. Jede Steckdose lässt
sich einzeln über einen Leucht-Kippschalter auf
der Frontseite ein- und ausschalten.
Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht der Niederspannungs-
richtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden
Punkte:
Achtung! Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährli-
cher Netzspannung (230V~) ver-
sorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb niemals
selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor. Durch
unsachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht
dieGefahreines elektrischen Schla-
ges.Außerdem erlischt beim Öffnen
des Gerätes jeglicher Garantiean-
spruch.
●Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbe-
reich. Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritz-
wasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40°C).
●Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten
Gefäße, z.B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.
●Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb bzw.
ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der
Netzanschlussleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Ver-
dacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Repa-
ratur in eine Fachwerkstatt.
●Eine beschädigte Netzanschlussleitung darf
nurdurch den Herstellerodereine autorisierte
Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden.
●Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der Zulei-
tungausder Steckdose, fassenSieimmeram
Stecker an.
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein
trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall
Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch
angeschlossen, überlastet oder nicht fachge-
recht repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden
keine Haftung übernommen werden.
●Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen
Recyclingbetrieb.
Inbetriebnahme
1) Die Steckdosenleiste in ein Rack einsetzen.
Es wird eine Einbauhöhe von 2 HE benötigt
(HE = Höheneinheit = 44,5mm).
2) Die im Rack eingesetzten Geräte an die
Steckdosen anschließen.
3) Die Steckdosenleiste an eine Steckdose
(230V~/50Hz) anschließen.
4) Mit den Schaltern auf der Frontseite die
benötigten Steckdosen einschalten.

Vorsicht!
Jedes Gerät darf eine Leistung von maximal
1380VA(6A) aufnehmen. Bei einer höheren
Leistungsaufnahme wird die Steckdosen-
leiste überlastet und beschädigt.
Achten Sie auch darauf, dass die Leis-
tungsaufnahme aller angeschlossenen Ge-
räte 3680VA (16A) nicht überschreitet. An-
derenfalls wird die Sicherung des verwen-
deten 230-V-Stromkreises ausgelöst.
Rack Socket Rail
Applications
This socket rail is especially designed for the
installation into a rack (482mm/19") and serves
for distributing the mains voltage to up to eight
units placed into a rack. The power consumption
of each unit must not exceed 1380VA(6A), and
the total power consumption of all units must not
exceed 3680 VA (16A).
The socket rail is equipped with 8 sockets pro-
vided with earthing contact (Schuko). Each
socket can individually be switched on and off via
an illuminated toggle switch on the front panel.

73/23/CEE for electromagnetic compatibility.
Please observe the following items in any case:
●Theunitissuitablefor indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity and heat (admissible am-
bient temperature range 0–40°C).
●Donotplace any vessels filled withliquid,e.g.
drinking glasses, on the unit.
●Do not set the unit into operation, or imme-
diately disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket if:
1. damage can be seen at the unit or mains
cable,
Attention! Theunit is suppliedwithhazardous
mains voltage (230V~). In order to
prevent a shock hazard, do not
open it. Leave servicing to author-
ized, skilled personnel only. Fur-
thermore, any guarantee claim ex-
pires if the unit has been opened.
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit must in any case be repaired by
authorized personnel.

by the manufacturer or authorized personnel.
●Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket, always
seize the plug.
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth. Do not
use any chemicals or water.
●If the unit is used for purposes other than orig-
inally intended, if it is not connected correctly,
overloaded, or not repaired in a qualified way,
there is no liability for possible damage.
●If the unit is to be put out of operation defini-
tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a dis-
posal which is not harmful to the environment.
●Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth, blue = neutral,
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead
of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yel-
low must be connected to the terminal in
the plug which is marked with the letter Eor
by the earth symbol , or coloured green
or green and yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter Nor coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter Lor coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
Setting into Operation
1) Place the socket rail into a rack. An installa-
tion height of 2 rack spaces (1 rack space =
44.5mm) is required.
2) Connect the units placed into the rack to the
sockets.
3) Connect the socket rail to a mains socket
(230V~/50Hz).
4) Switch on the required sockets with the
switches on the front panel.

overloaded and damaged.

tion of all connected units does not exceed
