What MondoBox is:
Mondobox s a rece ver of Internet
telev s on channels. It rece ves TV
channels over the Internet and plays them to your TV set. Any channel
that transm ts over the Internet may be rece ved by MondoBox.
Most Ital an TV stat ons also broadcast on the Internet and your
Mondobox rece ver has been tuned to rece ve these channels spec f cally.
There are no costs assoc ated w th rece v ng these channels as they are
free.
What MondoBox is NOT:
Mondobox rece ves only those channels wh ch have been made ava lable
by the r respect ve owners. We at MondoBox do not transm t these. They
are transm tted over the Internet by the stat on's owners such as RAI or
Med aset TV n Italy. Should the owners of these broadcasts dec de to
stop transm tt ng the r channels over the Internet they have the r ght to
do so. Th s means that these channels would no longer be ava lable to
watch. MondoBox s NOT a satell te rece ver and cannot rece ve
broadcasts of RAI Ital a wh ch s transm tted v a satell te.
P ease Note:
The only other costs you w ll ncur s for Internet use. The amount of
usage depends on your current Internet plan. Please check your serv ce
agreement w th your Internet prov der.

What we provide in the box:

5. One 4K MondoBox.TV rece ver
What is NOT inc uded in the pack:
You w ll need a cable to go from your Internet modem or router, to the
back of the MondoBox rece ver. You may purchase these from many
outlets such as JB H -F , D ck Sm th, or any computer store. Th s cable s
known as a CAT 5 cable and s blue n colour. The length of th s cable w ll
depend on how far your TV set s from your Internet modem. There are
two plugs on a CAT 5 cable. One plug on each end and t doesn't matter
wh ch plug goes where. S mply plug one end of the CAT 5 cable to your
modem or router (that s, your Internet box) and the other end nto the
MondoBox rece ver – there s only one place for th s to plug n to.

P ugging it a in:
1. Unbox the rece ver, the remote control, the power pack the HDMI
cable.
2. F rst, plug n your CAT 5 cable. One end of the cable nto your
modem or router, and then the other end nto the MondoBox
rece ver.
3. Second, f nd the HDMI cable suppl ed w th your MondoBox rece ver.
Plug one end of the HDMI cable nto the MondoBox rece ver and the
other end nto your TV set's HDMI socket. If you do not have a TV
set capable of tak ng a HDMI plug you w ll NOT be able to use the
rece ver.
4. F nally, plug the power pack nto the converter plug and then plug
the converter and the power pack nto your 240V socket.
5. Plug the other end of the power pack cable nto the back of the
MondoBox rece ver (labelled “DC”).
6. Please don't worry about the 3 USB ports and the opt cal AV ports
n the back of the rece ver.

When the un t has been plugged n to the power you should see a red
l ght on the front of the un t. Th s conf rms there s power to the un t.
Please make sure that before your sw tch the rece ver on, that your TV
set has been set to rece ve an nput from the HDMI plug connected to t.
Please refer to the nstruct ons accompany ng your part cular TV set for
more nformat on.
If your TV s correctly connected to HDMI, please po nt the MondoBox
remote control at the rece ver and press the red power button, wh ch s
located at the top left of the remote control. The l ght on the MondoBox
rece ver front panel should turn blue. If all s connected properly you w ll
see the follow ng mage:

To navigate the menu:
The most mportant keys are:
Return key (shaped l ke a U turn arrow)
Up/Down
Left/R ght
OK
“ - “ Volume Down
“ +” Volume Up
To move up and down through the menu:
From the ma n menu, use the down button located
of the wheel around the OK button, to move up
and down through the channel categor es.
For example, move to Med aSet TV. Then Press OK
to select Med aSet TV.
The screen w ll then show the programs ava lable
for you to watch.
Cl ck on a show to start watch ng. To go back,
press the Return Key (the U turn arrow). Th s w ll
take you one step back from where you are,
regardless of wh ch menu tem or program you are
watch ng.
Feel free to exper ment w th your remote control.
Please remember that there may be a delay
between press ng a button and MondoBox carry ng
out what you want t to do. It all depends on the
speed of your Internet connect on.
G ve the rece ver the chance to work by wa t ng a
few seconds after press ng a button. Read the top
left of the screen. MondoBox w ll tell you t's work ng.
When you are watch ng a show and cl ck the return key, the menu w ll be
d splayed wh le you cont nue to watch the current program. Th s allows
you to change channels eas ly.
To switch the system off, s mply use the return key to go back to the
ma n menu. Then, press the red (power) button located at the top left of
the remote control.
