Unser Produkt hat das Werk in sicherheitstechnisch einwandfreiem Zustand verlassen. Um diesen Zustand

1. Transportschäden: Bitte prüfen Sie das Gerät vor Inbetriebnahme auf Transportschäden. Sollten Sie
einen Schaden am Gerät – insbesondere im Bereich der Bedienseite – feststellen, nehmen Sie das
Gerät nicht in Betrieb und kontaktieren Sie Ihren Fachhändler.
2. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung für den späteren Gebrauch sicher auf.

6. Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von Wasser.

8. Achten Sie darauf, bei der Aufstellung und dem Betrieb die Luftauslässe nicht zu verdecken. Durch
Überhitzung kann das Gerät beschädigt werden.
9. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in direkter Nähe von Heizkörpern, Öfen oder sonstigen Wärmequellen.
Achten Sie darauf, das Gerät immer in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wärmequellen zu platzieren.
10. Verwenden Sie zum Betrieb nur die mitgelieferte Anschlussleitung. Die Steckdose muss geerdet sein!
11. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Strom- sowie Signalkabel so verlegt sind, dass Stolperfallen ausgeschlos-
sen sind, das Kabel nicht ungewollt gequetscht wird oder sich die Anschlussstifte - welche im Stecker
sitzen - verbiegen können. Dies könnte Aderbruch oder elektrischen Kurzschluss zur Folge haben.
12. Benutzen Sie ausschließlich die vom Hersteller mitgelieferten oder empfohlenen Zubehörteile.
13. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich die vom Hersteller optional erhältlichen oder empfohlenen Aufstell- oder
Aufhänge Vorrichtungen.
14. Trennen Sie das Gerät bei Sturm, Unwetter oder bei längerer Nichtbenutzung vom Netz.
15. Öffnen Sie das Gerät niemals selbstständig, alle innenliegenden Teile dürfen nur von qualifizierten
Servicetechnikern gewartet werden.
16. Technischer Service ist nur dann vonnöten, wenn das Gerät oder die Anschlussleitung beschädigt
wurde z.B. durch Regen oder Feuchtigkeit, es heruntergefallen oder etwas in das Gerät hineingefallen
ist oder es nicht ordnungsgemäß arbeitet.

17. Stellen Sie das Gerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu begrenzenden Flächen auf. Gute Luftzirkulation
muss gewährleistet sein, deshalb sind Orte wie Bücherregale oder ähnliches nicht für die Aufstellung
geeignet. Durch die korrekte Aufstellung stellen Sie sicher, dass die Abwärme des Gerätes optimal
durch die Raumluft abgeführt wird und somit das Gerät nicht überhitzen kann.
18. Um die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages zu minimieren, setzen Sie das Gerät niemals Regen oder
Dunst aus und betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals in feuchten Räumen. Stellen Sie niemals mit Flüssig-
keiten gefüllte Gefäße (z.B. Vasen) auf, über oder neben das Gerät!
19. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung: Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für den dafür vorgesehenen Anwen-
dungszweck.
20. Brandgefahr! Die bei diesem Gerät verwendeten Materialien sind normal entflammbar. Wird am
Einsatzort die Brandschutzklasse B1 gefordert, so ist das Gerät in regelmäßigen Abständen durch den
Betreiber mit geeigneten Brandschutzmitteln zu behandeln.
21. Kinder und Laien sowie Personen mit mentaler Retardierung von diesem Gerät fernhalten!
Öffnen Sie das Gerät niemals!
Trennen Sie bei jeder Auffälligkeit (z.B. Rauchentwicklung, übermäßige Wärmeent

ANWENDUNGSZWECK
Das Monkey Banana Hapa Mikrofon wurde für Ge-
sangs, Sprach und Instrumental aufnahmen im Ton-
studio oder für Podcasting Anwendungen entwickelt.
BESCHREIBUNG MIKROFON

EINRICHTEN DES MIKROFONS:
Um eine optimale Performance mit dem Monkey Banana Hapa - Mikrofon zu erzielen, bitten wir Sie, folgende
Aufstellungs- und Anschlusshinweise zu beachten:
EINSATZORT UND LAGERUNG:
Elektretmikrofone sind äußerst empfindlich gegenüber Feuchtigkeit. Benutzen oder lagern Sie das
Mikrofon niemals an feuchten Orten!
AUFSTELLEN:
Im Lieferumfang des MONKEY BANANA HAPA befindet sich eine elastische Halterung (Mikrofon Spinne) mit
der sich die Übertragung von Tritt- und Körperschall reduzieren lässt.
Schrauben sie die Halterung auf ein dafür vorgesehenes Mikrofonstativ. Ggfls. ist es nötig ein Reduzierge-
winde in das Insert der Halterung einzubringen (5/8 auf 3/8 „).
Um das Mikrofon in der elastischen Halterung zu fixieren drücken sie die beiden Klammern an der
Halterung zusammen und halten sie diese gedrückt.
Setzen sie nun mit der anderen Hand das Mikrofon in die Mitte des Halterings und lösen sie den Griff an
der Klammer. Nun ist das Mikrofon fixiert.
Das Monkey Banana Logo zeigt ihnen die Einsprechrichtung.
Wählen sie in ihrer Aufnahme oder Podcasting Software das Mikrofon als Eingangsquelle, abhängig von
ihrem Einsatzzweck es kann nötig sein in den Systemeinstellungen ihres Computers die Ton Eingabe
Einstellungen anzupassen, weitere Informationen hierzu finden sie in der Dokumentation des Herstellers.
Sie sollten den Kanalzug an dem das Mikrofon anliegt geschlossen halten oder Mute betätigen, Gain sollte
auf der minimalen Einstellung stehen.
Regeln sie nun den Gain wenn eingesungen/gesprochen wird soweit hoch wie nötig
(vermeiden sie Clipping) um ein gutes Aufnahmesignal zu erzeugen.

entscheiden, ob und welche Teile des Produkts
gewechselt werden oder ob das Produkt ausge-
tauscht wird.
5. Wenn Sie Produkte an Monkey Banana zurück-

10. Monkey Banana behält sich das Recht vor, Ver-
änderungen an der Produktserie ohne vorherige
Bekanntmachung durchzuführen.
Garantieeinschränkungen:
A) Bei unsachgemäßer Verwendung (Fahrlässigkeit,
Zweckentfremdung, unzulässige Verwendung, falsch
anliegende Spannung/Überspannung, Verwendung in
Verbindung mit nicht kompatiblen Produkten)
B) Beschädigtes Mikrofongehäuse aufgrund von
Kratzern, Anwendung nicht zugelassener Reinigungs-
mittel, Schmutz, verformter Mikrofonkorb, abgebroche-
ne Anschlüsse, aufgrund der Nichtbeachtung dieser
Anleitung oder permanenter Überlastung.
C) Sonstige Defekte, verursacht durch Herunterfallen,
falsche Anwendung, Fahrlässigkeit, Brand, Nässe,
Abnutzung, Rost, Ausbleichen des Gehäuses durch
massive Sonneneinstrahlung, Blitzschläge, höhere
Gewalt.
D) Brandspuren auf den Platinen, deren Ursache in
falschem Umgang lag.
E) Schäden am Produkt aufgrund unzureichender
Verpackung, die nicht den Standardbestimmungen für
Produkte dieser Art erfüllen.
F) Schäden, die sich nicht am Produkt selbst befinden
G) Veränderung der Original-Seriennummer
H) sämtliche Zubehörteile, die nicht im Rahmen der
Serviceleistungen dieser Garantie stehen.
I) Defekte Produkte / Bauteile, die von Dritten bereits
repariert, modifiziert oder getauscht wurden. Dies ist
ausschließlich den von Monkey Banana autorisierten

[1] Purpose
The Monkey Banana Hapa Microphone is developed to record
Vocal, Speech and Instruments in music and recording
studios as well for podcasting applications.
MICROPHONE FEATURES
1. Monkey Banana Logo: The Logo indicates the Speech
Direction. Polar Pattern: Cardioid.
2. USB Connection: Connect the Hapa Microphone with
the USB cable with a computer (it is not necessary to
install a driver; the microphone will be recognized by
PC/MAC)

SETTING UP THE MIKROPHONE:
For optimal performance of the Monkey Banana Hapa- Microphone, please read the following advises
prior to installation thoroughly and carefully.
PLACEMENT AND STORAGE:
Condenser microphones are extremely sensitive against humidity,
never store or operate the microphone in humid conditioned environments.
SET UP:
The MONKEY BANANA HAPA contents a shock mount to reduce vibrations and other noise.
Screw the shock mount on a mic stand. Depending on your stand it could be necessary to change the
threat insert from (5/8 auf 3/8 „).
To adjust the Microphone in the shock mount press the two clamps and hold them tight.
Now set the microphone with your other hand inside the center of the microphone holder and release the
pressure on the clamps.
The microphone is now fixed in the shock mount.
Select in your Recording or Podcasting Software the microphone as Input Device.
Depending on your operation it could be necessary to select the correct input settings in the computer
system configurations, follow the instructions of the manufacturer
Monkey Banana Logo: The Logo indicates the Speech Direction - Polar Pattern Cardioid
Keep the channel fader on which the microphone is connected down and gain on lowest level.
Start now increasing Gain during speech as much as necessary to create a useful recording signal
(Avoid Clipping).

cial rules for international mail need a special

2. Monkey Banana reserves the right to decide

be changed or if the product is replaced.
3. If you want to return products to Monkey Banana,
please contact us before you ship it back.
4. Packaging: Please make sure that the product
will be shipped well packaged - preferably in its
original packaging. This minimizes the risk of
damage during transit.
5. In case of dispute regarding the warranty is
governed by German law.
6. Monkey Banana is not liable for loss of earnings
and breaches of duty, which are related to a
defect of our product.

Warranty Limitations:
a) Defects were products / components that have been
repaired by a third party already, modified or replaced.
This is reserved exclusively for authorized service

b) Improper use (negligence, misuse, improper use,
incorrectly applied voltage / overvoltage, use in conjun-
ction with non-compliant products)
c) Damaged Microphone enclosure due to scratches,
use of non-approved cleaning materials/methods, dirt,
deformed Microphone frame, broken connections, , due
not to follow the manual consciously
d) Other defects caused by dropping, misuse, neglect,
fire, moisture, abrasion, rust, fading of the case by
massive solar radiation, lightning strikes and other
force majeure.
e) Scorch marks on the boards, which was caused by
mishandling.
f) Damage to the product due to inadequate packaging
that does not meet the standard requirements for
products of this kind.
g) Damages which are not on the product itself.
h) Altered the original series number label or completely
without series number
I) Any accessories are not in the context of the services
of this warranty.
