This manual is meant as a suppliment to the
Electric Vectaire manual, The contents herein describe the function and
operation of the Solid State Electronic Controls, For information on
Electric Vectaire Oven installation, operation, maintenance, service and parts,
refer to the Electric Vectaire manual part no. 4519-5.
These instructions should be read thoroughly before attempting installation.
Set up and installation should be performed by qualified installation personnel.
Keep area around appliances free and clear from combustibles.

***SPECIAL CAUTION***
DO NOT PLACE HIGH-HEAT PRODUCING EQUIPMENT ADAJACENT TO THE RIGHT SIDE
OF AN "SEK" VECTAIRE CONVECTION OVEN. EXCEEDING 185 DEGREES (F) (85 C)
SURFACE TEMPERATURES CAN CAUSE PREMATURE COMPONENT FAILURE NOT COVERED
UNDER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY.
OPERATION
CONTROLS
STANDARD MODELS (SEK15A AND SEK2=15A-FIGURE 1)
1. "LIGHT-OFF" SWITCH CONTROLS THE OVEN INTERIOR LIGHTS.
2. "FAN-OFF" SWITCH CONTROLS THE FAN OPERATION. IT MUST BE ON FOR
POWER TO BE SUPPLIED TO THE ELEMENTS. WHEN THE DOORS ARE
OPENED, THE FAN WILL STOP.
3. THE "0-1" SWITCH TURNS ON POWER TO THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER
AND ENERGIZES THE DIGITAL DISPLAY.
4. THE CYCLE INDICATOR LIGHT BECOMES ILLUMINATED WHENEVER THE
CONTROL CALLS FOR MORE HEAT AND EXTINGUISHES WHEN THE CONTROL
IS SATISFIED.
5. THE TIME-SET KNOB IS USED TO SET THE AMOUNT OF COOKING TIME
DESIRED.
6. THE TEMPERATURE SET KNOB IS USED TO SET THE DESIRED COOK
TEMPERATURE.
*7. THE COOKING LOAD SWITCH REGULATES THE COOKING SENSETIVITY OF
THE OVEN. IN THE "NORMAL" POSITION THE HEATING ELEMENTS ARE AT
FULL CAPACITY, IN THE "LIGHT" SETTING THE HEATING ELEMENTS ARE
AT REDUCED CAPACITY. USE THE "LIGHT" SETTING FOR LESS DENSE
PRODUCTS, PARTIAL LOADS OR LONG LOW-TEMPERATURE COOK CYCLES.
8. KEY PAD CONTROLS .STANDARD MODELS CONTAIN ONLY TWO KEY-PADS. A
START-CANCEL-TIMER KEY IS USED FOR STARTING THE TIMER AND
CANCELLING THE BEEP ALARM, AND A TEMP-KEY WHICH WILL CAUSE
MEASURED OVEN TEMPERATURE TO APPEAR IN THE DISPLAY WINDOW WHEN
DEPRESSED.
* 480 VOLT UNITS HAVE NO "COOKING LOAD" SWITCH, AND OPERATE WITH
THE HEATING ELEMENTS AT FULL CAPACITY AT ALL TIMES.
PROGRAMMABLE MODELS (IE; SEK15AH AND SEK2-15AH--FIG. 2)
1. KEY-PAD-CONTROLS . PROGRAMMABLE MODELS CONTAIN NINE KEY-PADS.
THE START/TIMER AND TEMP KEYS ARE USED AS DESCRIBED WITH THE
STANDARD MODELS. THE SIX PROGRAM KEYS ARE NUMBERED AND ALLOW
THE USER TO PROGRAM AND STORE SIX INDIVIDUAL COOKING TIMES AND
TEMPERATURES. THE CANCEL KEY IS USED TO CLEAR A PRE-PROGRAMMED
COMMAND ONCE STARTED AND TO CANCEL THE END OF CYCLE BEEP.

COOK-N-HOLD MODELS (IE; SEK15AH AND SEK2=15AH--FIG. 3)
1. KEY PAD CONTROLS . IN ADDITION TO THE KEYS STANDARD WITH THE
PROGRAMMABLE MODE, COOK-N-HOLD MODELS INCLUDE COOK-HI-FAN AND ROAST-LOW-
FAN KEYS WITH WHICH TO CHANGE THE FAN SPEED. THERE IS ALSO A HOLD KEY WHICH
ALLOWS A HOLD TEMPERATURE TO BE MANUALLY SET OR PROGRAMMED INTO MEMORY.
OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
POWER UP (ALL MODELS)
ON INITIAL POWER UP THE TIME DIGITS WILL ALWAYS DISPLAY ZERO WITH COLON.
THE TEMPERATURE DIGITS WILL DISPLAY ZEROS WITH THE DEGREES INDICATOR
LIGHTED. THE "C" ANNUNCIATOR WILL ALSO BE LIT IF THE C OPTION IS
SELECTED. SUBSEQUENT POWER UPS WILL RESULT IN THE TEMPERATURE TIMER DIGITS
DISPLAYING THE PREVIOUS SET TIME AND TEMPERATURE WHEN POWER WAS REMOVED
FROM THE CONTROL.
MANUAL TEMPERATURE SELECTION AND OPERATION (ALL MODELS)
ROTATING THE TEMPERATURE DIAL CLOCKWISE WILL INCREMENT TEMPERATURE DIGITS
IN THE DISPLAY IN 5 F OR 1 C INCREMENTS. THE OVEN WILL START HEATING AS
SOON AS THE SET TEMPERATURE IS HIGHER THAN THE OVEN TEMPERATURE. THE
COOK ANNUNCIATOR WILL COME ON AND THE HIGH SPEED FAN WILL ENERGIZE WHEN THE
TEMPERATURE IS SET TO ANY NON-ZERO VALUE. THE TEMPERATURE DIGITS WILL
DISPLAY THE SET TEMPERATURE FLASHING AT AN APPROXIMATE 1-SECOND RATE
UNTIL THE OVEN REACHES SET TEMPERATURE. UPON REACHING SET TEMPERATURE THESE
DIGITS WILL BECOME STATIC. IF THE SET TEMP IS SET TO THE SAME TEMP
AS THE ACTUAL TEMP OF THE OVEN, THE DISPLAY WILL NOT FLASH.
ASSUMING A NEW SET TEMPERATURE IS ENTERED, WHICH IS LOWER THAN THE PREVIOUS
SETTING, THE NEW SET TEMPERATURE WILL FLASH UNTIL THE OVEN TEMPERATURE
HAS COASTED DOWN TO THIS NEW SETTING AND WILL THEN BECOME STATIC.
MEASURED OVEN TEMPERATURE CAN BE RECALLED BY PRESSING THE TEMP KEY. MEASURED
TEMPERATURE WILL BE DISPLAYED AS LONG AS THE KEY IS PRESSED. UPON RELEASE
THE DISPLAY WILL REVERT TO DISPLAYING THE SET TEMPERATURE.
TO TURN THE OVEN OFF WITHOUT POWERING THE CONTROL DOWN THE
TEMPERATURE DIALS CAN BE ROTATED COUNTER-CLOCKWISE UNTIL ZERO DEGREES ARE
SHOWN IN THE DISPLAY.
MANUAL TIME SELECTION AND OPERATION (ALL MODELS)
ROTATING THE TIMER SWITCH CLOCKWISE WILL INCREMENT THE TIME DIGITS-IN THE
DISPLAY IN THE FOLLOWING MANNERS
-1 MINUTE INCREMENTS UP TO ONE HOUR
-5 MINUTE INCREMENTS UP TO TWO HOURS
-10 MINUTE INCREMENTS UP TO TWELVE HOURS.
THE HR ANNUNCIATOR IS TO BE LIGHTED AT ALL THE TIMES IF THE
MINUTES/HOURS MODE IS SELECTED. THE MAXIMUM TIME ENTRY ALLOWABLE WILL BE
TWENTY-FOUR HOURS. COUNTERCLOCKWISE ROTATION OF THE ROTARY SWITCH WILL
DECREMENT THE COUNTER IN A LIKE MANNER. THE TIMER COUNT DOWN IS STARTED
BY MOMENTARILY PRESSING THE START/TIMER SWITCH. IF THE TIMER IS SET AND NOT
STARTED, THE TIME DIGITS AND THE COLON FLASH AT A ONE-CYCLE PER SECOND RATE.
ONCE STARTED, THE TIMER DIGITS BECOME STATIC BUT THE COLON REMAINS FLASHING.
WHEN THE TIMER REACHES ZERO, A REPEATING BEEP

WILL BEGIN. THE BEEP IS CANCELLED BY PRESSING ANY KEY OR TURNING EITHER ROTARY
DIAL, ALTHOUGH THE START/TIMER OR CANCEL KEYS ARE INTENDED TO BE USED FOR BEEP
CANCELLING.
TIME CAN BE INCREASED OR DECREASED DURING A TIMING CYCLE BY
ROTATING THE TIME KNOB CLOCKWISE OR COUNTERCLOCKWISE RESPECTIVELY UNLESS
THE TIME WAS SET VIA A PROGRAM KEY.
MANUAL COOK AND HOLD (MODELS SEK15AH AND SEK2-15AH)
WHEN COOK AND HOLD ARE BOTH SELECTED, THE CONTROL PERFORMS TWO
STAGES OF COOKING. THIS MODE IS SET BY PUSHING THE COOK KEY, SETTING THE
COOK TIME AND TEMPERATURE WITH THE ROTARY DIALS, PUSHING THE HOLD KEY AND
SETTING THE TEMP WITH THE TEMP ROTARY DIAL. THE OVEN STARTS AS SOON AS THE
COOK TEMP IS SET. THE START/TIMER KEY WILL START THE COOK TIMING CYCLE. THE
FIRST STAGE IS A COOK AT THE USERS SPECIFIED TIME AND TEMPERATURE. DURING THE
COOK MODE, THE HIGH SPEED FAN RUNS CONTINUOUSLY AND THE COOK AND HOLD
ANNUNCIATORS ARE BOTH LIT. AT THE COMPLETION OF THE COOK TIME, A SECOND
STAGE HOLD MODE IS ENTERED AND THE COOK ANNUNCIATOR IS EXTINGUISHED. IN
THE HOLD MODE, THE OVEN IS CONTROLLED AT THE USER SELECTED HOLD
TEMPERATURE. THIS TEMPERATURE WILL BE SOME VALUE LESS THAN THE COOK
TEMPERATURE. DURING THE HOLD MODE, THE CONTROL SWITCHES TO THE LOW SPEED FAN.
NOW THE FAN IS ONLY RUN WHEN THE CONTROL IS CALLING FOR HEAT. ALSO, WHEN THE
HOLD TEMP IS REACHED A HOLD TIMER STARTS COUNTING UP IN THE TIMER DIGITS OF
THE DISPLAY. THIS TIMER CAN COUNT UP TO TWENTY FOUR HOURS, AND INDICATES THE
AMOUNT OF TIME THE OVEN HAS BEEN IN HOLD. AT THE END OF TWENTY FOUR
HOURS OF THE HOLD MODE, TIMER STOPS AND THE EOC BEEPING IS STARTED. THE
BEEPING AND HOLD TIMER DISPLAY CAN THEN BE CLEARED BY PUSHING THE CANCEL KEY.
MANUAL ROAST AND HOLD (MODELS SEK15AH AND SEK2-15AH)
THE ROAST AND HOLD MODE WORKS THE SAME AS COOK AND HOLD, EXCEPT FOR THE
FAN SPEED SELECTED. DURING THE ROAST MODE, THE SLOW SPEED FAN IS ENERGIZED.
PROGRAM KEYS (ALL MODELS EXCEPT SEK15A AND SEK2-15A)
SIX PROGRAMMABLE KEYS ARE PROVIDED FOR FAST ENTRY OF TIME AND
TEMPERATURE. THE VALUES PROGRAMMED FOR EACH KEY ARE SET BY THE USER. TO SET
THE PROGRAMS, THE USER PUSHES AND HOLDS THE APPROPRIATE POM KEY WHILE
ENTERING THE DESIRED COOK AND TIME VALUE WITH THE ROTARY DIALS. WHEN THE KEY
IS RELEASED. THE VALUES ENTERED ARE STORED IN THE MEMORY. PRIOR TO PUSHING
AND HOLDING THE PGM KEY THE OPERATOR MUST MOMENTARILY PUSH EITHER THE COOK,
ROAST OR HOLD KEY. WHEN THE PGM KEY IS RELEASED, THE APPROPRIATE FUNCTION
IS STORED IN THE MEMORY. THE TIMER CAN BE PROGRAMMED DURING EITHER THE COOK
OR ROAST PROGRAMMING. ANOTHER FEATURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROGRAM KEYS IS AN
INHIBIT MODE. ONCE A PROGRAM IS RECALLED AND THE TIMER STARTED, THE PROGRAM
KEYS AND ROTARY DIALS ARE LOCKED OUT TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL RE-PROGRAMMING.
THE APPROPRIATE PGM ANNUNCIATOR IS LIT WHEN A PROGRAM IS RECALLED. THIS IS
TO NOTIFY THE USER AS TO WHICH PROGRAM IS BEING RUN. ANY ROTARY DIAL CHANGES,
OR THE CANCEL KEY WILL CLEAR ANY PGM ANNUNCIATOR. THE SIX PROGRAM KEYS ARE
ALSO LOCKED OUT WHEN THE TIMER IS RUNNING AFTER MANUAL SETTING.
UPO MODE (ALL MODELS)
A USER PREFERENCE OFFSET MODE (UPO) IS PROVIDED FOR USERS WHO FEEL THAT
THEIR OVEN COOKS TOO HOT OR TOO COLD. THIS MODE CAN BE USED TO ADJUST THE
OVEN CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE BY +49 F IN 1 F INCREMENTS. THIS ADJUSTMENT
AFFECTS THE ENTIRE COOKING RANGE OF THE OVEN. THE UPO MODE IS ALWAYS SET IN
F INCREMENTS, EVEN IF THE CONTROL IS IN THE C MODE, THE USER MUST CONVERT
THE DESIRED C VALUE TO F.

ACCESS
1. SET THE TIME DIGITS OF THE CONTROL TO OOSOO.
2. SET THE COOK TEMPERATURE TO (X 10 )
("X" STANDS FOR ANY NUMBER)
3. PUSH AND HOLD THE START/TIMER KEY FOR 5 SECONDS.
OPERATION
1. EITHER ROTARY DIAL IS TURNED UNTIL THE DESIRED OFFSET IS DISPLAYED.
2. PUSHING THE ACTUAL TEMP KEY WILL CAUSE THE CONTROL TO EXIT THE 1JPO MODE.
FARENHEIT CELSIUS CHANGING!
ACCESS THIS FUNCTION IS ACCESSED THE SAME AS THE UPO MODE EXCEPT
THAT THE TEMPERATURE MUST BE SET TO <X 20 ).
OPERATION
1. EACH TIME THIS MODE IS ACCESSED, THE CONTROL FLIPS TO THE OPPOSITE
STATE THAT IT WAS IN BEFORE ENTRY. THE CONTROL DISPLAYS (FFF) OR (CCC)
TO INDICATE THE MODE THAT THE CONTROL WAS CHANGED TO. PUSHING THE ACTUAL
TEMP KEY MILL CAUSE THE CONTROL TO EXIT THIS MODE.
2. EACH TIME THIS OPERATION IS PERFORMED, THE USER PROGRAM AREA IN THE EEPROM IS
CLEARED TO PREVENT OUT OF RANGE PROGRAMS TO BE USED.
TIMER RESOLUTION CHANGING:
ACCESS
1. THIS FUNCTION IS ACCESSED THE SAME AS THE UPO MODE EXCEPT THAT THE
TEMPERATURE MUST BE SET TO (X30 DEGREES).
OPERATION
1. EACH TIME THIS MODE IS ACCESSED, THE CONTROL FLIPS TO THE OPPOSITE STATE
THAT IT WAS IN BEFORE ENTRY. THE CONTROL FLASHES THE APPROPRIATE ANNUNCIATOR
(HR OR MN) TO INDICATE THE MODE CHANGED TO. PUSHING THE ACTUAL TEMP KEY
WILL CAUSE THE CONTROL TO EXIT THIS MODE.
NOTE: IF EITHER THE TIMER RESOLUTION OR THE C/F DEGREE CHANGE MODES ARE
PERFORMED, ALL USER PROGRAMS AND UPO VALUES ARE CLEARED.
THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT
THE TEMPERATURE COMTROLLER USES SOLID-STATE COMPONENTS AND NEVER NEEDS
CALIBRATION AS LONG AS THE CONTROL IS OPERATING PROPERLY.
SERVICE
DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE DOING ANY SERVICE WORK. EACH OVEN HAS SEPERATE ELECTRICAL
SUPPLY CONNECTION.
MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH
THIS SWITCH IS LOCATED BEHIND THE HINGED RATING PLATE PANEL. TO REPLACE THE
SWITCH:

1. TURN OFF THE MAIN SOURCE OF ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE OVEN(S).
2. REMOVE THE PANEL BELOW THE CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH BY REMOVING THE
HEX HEAD SCREWS HOLDING PANEL.
3. REMOVE LINE WIRES FROM BOTTOM OF SWITCH.
4. REMOVE THE TWO PHILL IPS HEAD SCREWS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE
BREAKER. THIS WILL ALLOW BRACKETS AND BREAKER TO DROP DOWN.
5. REMOVE THE LOAD WIRES ON THE TOP OF THE SWITCH.
6. REMOVE THE BREAKER FROM THE BRACKET BY TAKING OUT THE 4 MACHINE
SCREWS WITH NUTS.
TO INSTALL NEW BREAKER SWITCH. REVERSE TO ABOVE PROCEDURE. REPLACE THE
SAME INCOMING LINE WIRES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE POSITIONS. ALL LOAD WIRES OF
THE SAME COLOR WILL GO TO THE LINE (TOP) SIDE OF THE SAME COLOR. REPLACE
THE PANEL BELOW THE SWITCH, AND CLOSE THE HINGED PANEL.
UPPER CONTROL PANEL
TO REMOVE PANEL FOR SERVICE OR REPLACEMENT: FIRST, TURN OFF THE
CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH. REMOVE THE TWO SCREWS AT TOP AND BOTTOM OF PANEL.
THE LIGHT, FAN, CONTROL POWER, AND COOKING LOAD SWITCHES, THE INDICATOR
LIGHT, AND SOLID-STATE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER ARE ATTACHED TO THE PANEL.
CAREFULLY WORK THE CONTROL PANEL FORWARD SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE ANY WIRES OR
TERMINAL CONNECTIONS. PULL FORWARD FAR ENOUGH TO CHANGE SWITCHES OR
INDICATOR LAMPS. THE INDICATOR LAMPS PRESS INTO PLACE FROM THE FRONT OF
PANEL. THE SWITCHES ARE REMOVED BY PINCHING IN THE SPRING CLAMPS HOLDING THEM
IN PLACE. REMOVED SCREW CAN BE INSERTED THRU THE UPPER-RIGHT HOLE IN THE
CONTROL PAN AND INTO THE OVEN STAINLESS TOP-TRIM BEZEL TO POSITION THE
CONTROL OUT OF THE WAY FOR SERVICE OF INTERNAL PARTS.
LIGHTS, INTERIOR OF OVEN
TO REPLACE LAMPS INSIDE THE OVEN: FIRST, OPEN THE RATING PLATE PANEL
DOOR AND TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH. OPEN THE OVEN DOOR. REMOVE
RACKS. REMOVE THE TWO WING-HEAD SCREWS HOLDING THE FAN BAFFLE PLATE ON BACK
INSIDE WALL OF OVEN. LAY THIS BAFFLE PLATE ON BOTTOM OF OVEN. REPLACE BURNED
OUT LAMPS WITH 40 WATT OVEN LAMPS. THE LAMPS ARE WIRED IN A SERIES, SO IF
ONE BURNS OUT THE OTHER WILL NOT LIGHT. ONCE LAMPS ARE REPLACED, THE FAN
BAFFLE PLATE CAN BE POSITIONED AND SECURED. BE CAREFUL TO ALLOW THE
TEMPERATURE SENSOR LOCATED ON THE OVEN BACK WALL TO FREELY PROTRUDE THRU THE
OVAL HOLE IN THE FAN BAFFLE PLATE.
HIGH LIMIT CONTROL
THIS CONTROL IS OPERATED BY A HYDRAULIC ELEMENT DIAPHRAGM WHICH
EXPANDS WHEN THE BULB TEMPERATURE INCREASES TO THE CALIBRATION
TEMPERATURE. THE HIGH LIMIT CONTROL WILL ACTUATE AT A TEMPERATURE OF 550
F OR ANYTIME LEAKAGE DEVELOPS IN THE HYDRAULIC ELEMENT OF THE CONTROL.
THE SENSING BULB IS LOCATED INSIDE THE OVEN ALONG SIDE THE THERMOSTAT
SENSING BULB.
INTERMITTENT FAN OPERATION (IFO) CONTROLS
DESCRIPTION
THE IFO OPTIONAL FAN CONTROL CYCLES THE FAN AND THE HEATING
ELEMENTS ON AND OFF EVERY 30 SECONDS DURING A TIMED INITIAL PORTION OF THE
COOK PERIOD. THIS GENTLER FAN OPERATION ALLOWS A BAKE TO RISE AND TAKE A SET
BEFORE BEING EXPOSED TO THE FULL FORCE OF THE CONVECTED AIR IN THE OVEN. THE
IFO OPTION CAN BE ADDED AT THE FACTORY TO ALL MONTAGUE GAS AND ELECTRIC
CONVECTION OVENS EXCEPT THE MODELS 70Z AND 115Z.

THE IFO CONTROLS ARE INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY, AND THE CONVECTION
OVENS SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MONTAGUE •••S
STANDARD INSTALLATI ON INSTRUCTIONS.

IFO EQUIPPED CONVECTION OVEN. EXCEEDING 185 F (85 0, CONTROL
COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURES CAN CAUSE PREMATURE COMPONENT FAILURE NOT
COVERED UNDER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY.
OPERATION
THE IFO CONTROLS ARE LOCATED ON THE STANDARD VECTIARE CONTROL PANEL
IN A GROUP. THEY INCLUDE A MOMENTARY "START" SWITCH, A "TIME-SET" KNOB
WITH SETTINGS FROM 0.1 TO 10 MINUTES, AND AN AMBER "TIMER" INDICATOR
LIGHT.
TO SET THE IFO CONTROLS; FIRST, SET THE "TIME-SET" KNOB FOR THE
DESIRED IFO TIME PERIOD. ONCE THE OVEN HAS REACHED TEMPERATURE, LOAD
THE PRODUCT TO BE BAKED AND CLOSE THE DOOR. IMMEDIATELY SET AND START
THE STANDARD TIMER FOR THE OVERALL COOK CYCLE. NEXT, PUSH THE "START-
SWITCH ON THE IFO CONTROL. THE AMBER INDICATOR LIGHT WILL COME ON, THE
FAN WILL STOP, AND THEN CYCLE ON-AND-OFF EVERY 30 SECONDS UNTIL THE
SET-TIME HAS EXPIRED. THE AMBER LIGHT WILL REMAIN ON CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL
THE SET TIME HAS EXPIRED.
ONCE THE AMBER LIGHT IS ON, ADDITIONAL PUSHING OF THE "START-
SWITCH WILL HAVE NO EFFECT. ALSO, THE "TIME-SET" KNOB DOES NOT
COUNT-DOWN DURING THE IFO CYCLE, BUT REMAINS AT ITS SETTING READY FOR A
REPEAT CYCLE IF DESIRED.
TO CANCEL THE IFO CYCLE ONCE STARTED, SIMPLY ROTATE THE "TIME-SET"
KNOB COUNTER-CLOCKWISE UNTIL IT STOPS (ALLOW FOR 6 SECOND DELAY).
ONCE STARTED, THE IFO TIME PERIOD CAN BE RE-ADJUSTED BY SIMPLY
RE-POSITIONING THE "TIME-SET" ' KNOB. IF THE KNOB IS TURNED
COUNTER-CLOCKWISE TO A SETTING THAT IS LESS THAN THE CURRENT TIME
EXPIRED DURING THE CYCLE. THE CYCLE WILL BE TERMINATED. TO RE-START A
CYCLE, SIMPLY PUSH THE "START" SWITCH.
IF IT IS NECESSARY TO OPEN THE DOOR DURING THE IFO CYCLE, THE FAN
WILL SHUT OFF IF RUNNING. THE IFO TIMED CYCLE WILL CONTINUE
UNINTERRUPTED, HOWEVER, UNTIL THE SET TIME HAS EXPIRED. IF THERE IS A
LOSS OF POWER DURING THE CYCLE IT WILL BE TERMINATED.

THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT
The SE and SEK temperature controllers use solid state components and NEVER needs calibration as long as the
control is operating properly.
FAULT DIAGNOSIS
Six failure modes are provided to aid in trouble shooting oven malfunctions and to inform the user of problems.
Each failure has an associated code number that is displayed when the failure occurs. Except for the "No 50/60
Hz" error, the control also sounds a series of attention tones. The control must be powered down to clear the
failure mode. Below are a list of the failure codes and their meanings:
Fl —RAO low when not cooking
F2 —Actual temp-T-SET MAX +60° +49°
F3 —Open temp sensor
F4 —Shorted temp sensor
F5 —RAO high when cooking
F6 —No 50/60 Hz
UPO MODE
A user offset preference mode (UPO) is provided for users who feel that their oven cooks too hot or too cold. This
mode can be used to adjust the oven controlling temperature by + or -49°F in 1 T increments. This adjustment
affects the entire cooking range of the oven. The UPO mode is always set in T increments, even if the oven is in
the °C mode —the user must convert the desired °C value to T.
Access:
1. Set the Time digits of the control to 00:00.
2. Set the Cook temperature to "xl0°" (where "x" stands for any number).
3. Push and hold the Start/Timer key for 5 seconds.
Operation:
1. Either rotary dial is turned until the desired offset is displayed.
2. Pushing the actual Temp key will cause the control to exit UPO mode.
FARENHEIT / CELSIUS CHANGING
Access:
This function is accessed the same as the UPO mode except that the Cook temperature must be set to "x20°".
Operation:
1. Each time this mode is accessed, the control flips to the opposit state that it was in before entry.
The control displays "FFF" or "CCC" to indicate the mode that the control was changed to.
Pushing the actual Temp key will cause the control to exit this mode.
2. Each time this operation is performed, the user program area in memory is cleared to prevent
out of range programs to be used.
TIMER RESOLUTION CHANGING
Access:
This function is accessed the same as the UPO mode except that the Cook temperature must be set to "x30°".
Operation:
1. Each time this mode is accessed, the control flips to the opposit state that it was in before entry.
The control flashes the appropriate annunciator (HR or MN) to indicate the mode changed to.
Pushing the "Actual Temp" key will cause the control to exit this mode.
NOTE: If either the timer resolution or the °C / °F change modes are performed, all user
programs and UPO values are cleared from memory.
