DIGITRONIC LEVEL INSTRUCTIONS
Digitronic Level 570 Series
Please carefully review these instructions to ensure proper and accurate use of your new Digitronic Level.

This Digitronic Level is a precision instrument used for measuring angles in which any of its
four surfaces may be utilised.
• Zero can also be set at any angle so that the relative angle between two surfaces can
be measured.
• This Digitronic Level can also be set to read absolute zero, so it may be used as a
levelling device.
• Magnets embedded on three sides.
Operation:
1. To power on and read absolute level, push the ‘ …LEVEL’ button: ‘Level’ will appear on
the upper-left corner of the display.
2. To measure relative bevel, place the Digitronic Level on a table surface and push the
‘ZERO’ button. Then, move the Digitronic Level to the second surface. The gauge will
accurately measure and display the bevel angle between the two surfaces.
3. To switch back to absolute level measuring again, push and hold the ‘ …LEVEL’ button
for 3 seconds.
4. To hold the reading, push ‘HOLD’ button, ‘H’ will display at upper-centre of the display.
To disable HOLD function, push ‘HOLD’ button again.
5. If the battery symbol appears on the LCD display or the gauge will not power on, it is
time to change the battery. Remove the back plate with the screwdriver supplied and
insert a new standard 9V battery.
6. To power off, push the ‘ …LEVEL’ button. Or, the unit will self power off within
3-5 minutes when not in use.

Accuracy: ±0.2°
Battery: standard 9 volt
Battery life: approx. 1 year

3. Release the buttons
and make sure the
level does not move
until the ‘1’ flashes.
5. Turn the Level
another 90 degrees
clockwise; press the
ZERO button, the
screen will read
CAD3, make sure
the level does not
move until the ‘3’
flashes.
7. Turn the box
another 90 degrees
clockwise; press the
ZERO button, the
screen will read
CAD5. After 3
seconds the display
will read 0.00, this
completes the
calibration.
2. Press and hold ZERO
and button for
5 seconds until the
screen displays CAD1.
4. Turn the level 90
degrees clockwise,
press the ZERO
button, the screen
will read CAD2,
make sure the level
does not move until
the ‘2’ flashes.
6. Turn the Level
another 90 degrees
clockwise; press the
ZERO button,the
screen will read
CAD4, make sure
the level does not
move until
the ‘4’ flashes.
8. Your Digitronic Level
is now ready to use.
9. Low battery warning.
1. Place the level on
a flat surface.
The accuracy of
the granite surface
must be ≤0.02º in
order to make the
recalibration
effective.
The Level should be set right side up.
