SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE FIRST USE

WARNING! 8. Exercise caution during operation, as there is a danger of hot steam. Keep your hands
and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings. Also be
careful of hot steam and air when you remove the containers from the appliance.
9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
10. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
11. NEVE touch the appliance when it is cooking.
12. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet immediately after use, when
moving it or prior to any cleaning or maintenance.
13. Place the appliance on horizontal, even and stable surfaces.
14. Do not place the appliance against the wall or against other apliances. allow at least
10cm free space on the back, sides and above the appliance.
15. Add water or unplug the appliance from the power outlet when it dry-burns. DO NOT
touch the heating element.
16. Do not place the appliance on or near combustible materials such as a tablecloth or
curtain.
17. This appliance has an overheating protection feature. Wait for it to cool down before
operating it again.
18. This appliance is only intended for household use only. Do not use the appliance for
any other purpose than described in this manual.
19. DO NOT disassemble or repair the appliance yourself.
20. Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.
21. NEVE use scouring pads, abrasive cleansing agents and detergents to clean the
appliance & its accessories.
22. CAUTION: The ceramic pot cover does not totally seal when covered. Exercise
caution when opening the lid or when moving it.
23. This appliance is intended for household use and similar applications such as: staff
kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, including farm houses.
1. DO NOT exceed the maximum or below the minimum water levels when filling the
water container.
2. Never immerse the body which contains electrical components, heating element and
power cord in water or any other liquids. Do not rinse under running water.
3. DO NOT touch appliance during operation to prevent scalds or other body injuries.
4. DO NOT cover/obstruct the upper lid during operation.
5. Beware of hot surfaces & escaping hot steam from the upper lid during operation.
6. DO NOT move the appliance during operation.
7. DO NOT place the ceramic pot and steam plate on inflammable materials, on & inside
the oven or on heated surfaces.
8. DO NOT use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer to avoid damage to
the appliance.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Always ensure that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local
rated voltage before connecting the appliance to the power supply.
2. Do not use the appliance if the appliance or its power cord is damaged, or the
appliance shows visible damage or does not work properly.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
4. Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources or in a hot oven, as doing so could
can pose a safety hazard.
5. Never leave the appliance in operation unattended. Keep away from children.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7. Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces.

1. emove all packaging materials and stickers.
2. Clean the ceramic pot, steam plate, interior body and accessories thoroughly using
water, mild detergent & a non-abrasive sponge.
3. Wipe the body using a damp cloth and allow to dry.

7. If there is insufficient water inside the water container or when water dries out, the dry
protection mode will be activated, the alarm will sound for 40 seconds and the display
panel will dim. Unplug the power cord, add water into the water container, wait for the
appliance to cool down before resetting the programme and restarting again.
8. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Never immerse the
appliance in water or rinse it under running water.
3. COOKING RICE
Follow the same procedure as steaming (refer to [2] above). Place rice into the ceramic
pot, fill the water tank with water and select “rice cooking programme.”
4. KEEP WARM
Pour hot water into the water tank, place ceramic pot with food into the body & selet the
keep warm programme. The timer will display -:-- until you press the CANCEL button to
stop the function.
5. PRESET FUNCTION
Place ingredients into the ceramic pot and then move the ceramic pot into the body.
(Water container). Press the P ESET function button and the indicator light will illuminate,
then press “ ˂ “ or “ ˃ “ to select desired time before selecting one of the stewing
programmes. After the desire time have selected then press the “Function / Cancel” button
to select the stewing programmes. The chosen programmes indicator light will blinking for
10 seconds, then the P ESET time will begin to counting down. (When P ESET time
counting down to 0:00 the chosen programmes time will start.)
Example of use: The programme you chosen need 3 hours of stewing time and you will
like to do preparation at 8:00am but only begin stewing at 4:00pm for food to be ready on
7:00pm. (the P ESET time for this is 8 hours).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Empty the water tank before cleaning, using a damp cloth. Do not use any hard tool or
metal scourer to prevent from damaging the exterior finishing.
2. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet after every use.
3. Never immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under running water.
4. Store appliance in a cool, ventilated place if it is not to be used for a long duration.
5. CAUTION: Ceramic containers are fragile. Please handle with care.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEWING
1. Place food & ingredients into the ceramic pot. Add water into the container, enough to
immerse food. Cover the container lids.
2. Place steam rack into water container. Add water into the water container, not
exceeding the maximum level mark. Place food containers onto the steam rack and
cover the upper lid. Insert power cord into power supply. Turn on power & the display
will start in standby mode with time display at 0:00.
3. Press the function button to select desired stewing programme. Stewing will begin after
10 seconds.
4. To increase stewing time, press the +/- button after stewing function selection.
5. If programme has been set wrongly, press the CANCEL button to reset again.
6. An alarm will sound upon completion of stewing. If the CANCEL button is not pressed
within 1 minute, the appliance will keep warm automatically and timer will display -:--
until the CANCEL button is pressed.

STEAMING
1. Place steam rack into water container, fill the water container with water. Be sure to use
a heat resistant dish. Place dish with food & ingredients on the steam rack & cover the
container lids.
2. Insert power cord into power supply. Turn on power & the display will start in standby
mode with time display at 0:00.
3. Press the function button to select desired stewing programme. Stewing will begin after
10 seconds.
4. To increase stewing time, press the +/- button after stewing function selection.
5. If programme has been set wrongly, press the CANCEL button to reset again.
6. An alarm will sound upon completion of stewing. If the CANCEL button is not pressed
within 1 minute, the appliance will keep warm automatically and timer will display -:--
until the CANCEL button is pressed.
