tested before leaving the factory. In the unlikely
eventofanyappliance proving to befaultywithin
28 days of purchase it should be returned to the
placeof purchase forit to bereplaced.
Ifthe fault developsafter 28 daysand within
24monthsof original purchase,youshould
contacttheHelplinenumberquotingModel
numberandSerial number ontheproduct, or
writeto Morphy Richardsatthe address shown.
Youwill be askedto returnthe product (in
secure,adequatepackaging)totheaddress
belowalong with acopyof proof ofpurchase.
Subjecttothe exclusions setoutbelow (see
‘Exclusions’)thefaultyappliance will thenbe
repairedorreplacedanddispatchedusually
within7 working daysof receipt.
Iffor any reasonthis item isreplaced during
the2yearguaranteeperiod,theguarantee on
thenewitem will be calculatedfromoriginal
purchasedate.Therefore it isvitalto retain your
originaltillreceipt or invoice toindicatethedate
ofinitialpurchase.
Toqualify for the2yearguaranteethe appliance
musthavebeen used accordingtothemanu-
facturersinstructions.For example kettles
shouldhavebeenregularlydescaled.
EXCLUSIONS
MorphyRichardsshallnotbeliabletoreplace
orrepair the goodsunder the termsof the
Guaranteewhere:
1 Thefaulthas been causedoris attributable
toaccidentaluse, misuse, negligent useor
usedcontraryto the manufacturers
recommendationsorwherethe fault has
beencausedbypower surges or damage
causedintransit.
2 Theappliancehasbeenusedonavoltage
supplyotherthan that stampedonthe
products.
3 Repairshavebeenattemptedbypersons
otherthan our servicestaff(orauthorised
dealer).
4 Wheretheappliance has beenusedfor hire
purposesornon-domesticuse.
5 MorphyRichardsare not liabletocarry out
any type ofservicing work, underthe
guarantee.
6 Plasticfilters for allMorphy Richards kettles
andcoffeemakersarenot covered bythe
guarantee.
Thisguaranteedoes not conferanyrights
otherthanthoseexpressly set out aboveand
doesnotcoverany claims for consequential
lossordamage.Thisguarantee is offeredas an
additionalbenefitanddoes not affectyour
statutory rights as a consumer.
