Receiving Procedures
Every Morse drum handler is inspected prior to shipping. However,
damage may be incurred during transit.
Check for visible damage. If you choose to accept damaged•
freight, always sign noting the damage on the Bill of
Lading.
Document the damage and have the truck driver sign. We•
recommend keeping a digital camera at your receiving dock
for this purpose.
Open packages expeditiously to check the condition of the•
goods. There is only a 24 hour window to notify the carrier
of any concealed damage.
Immediately• report all damage to the shipping company!
Then you may contact Morse for assistance with your
freight claim.
Morse Manufacturing will not be held responsible for any•
damaged freight that is not signed for as damaged.
Limited 2 Year Warranty
Morse drum handling equipment is guaranteed against defects in
workmanship or materials for two years when used properly within
its rated capacity. Warranty does not cover wear from normal use
or damage from accident or abuse. Motors and other purchased
parts carry the warranties of their manufacturers.
For warranty claims, contact your Morse Dealer to obtain a
return authorization number, and for return freight advice. Return
freight must be prepaid.
In all instances, liability is limited to the purchase price paid or to
repairing or replacing the product. Customer assumes liability for
anymodications,unauthorizedrepairsorpartssubstitution.
Safety Information
While Morse Manufacturing Co. drum handling equipment is
engineeredforsafetyandeciency,ahighdegreeofresponsibility
must be placed upon the machine operator to follow safe practices,
based primarily on common sense, upon which true safety
depends.
Failure to follow the safety precautions in this manual can result in
personal injury or property damage. Observe the same precautions
as with similar machinery where carelessness in operating or
maintenance is hazardous to personnel. Carefully read the safety
precautions below and throughout this manual.
Review the Material Safety Data Sheet(s) for the material(s) in
the drum(s) and take all necessary precautions. Safety shoes,
work gloves, hard hat and other personal protective devices are
recommended.
Prior to initial use, inspect all moving parts. Perform necessary
inspections, operator training, etc.

1. Disconnect pump from battery. 2. Undo wiring from pendant to pump
control wire.
3. Take male and female plug and strip 3/4”
on all 8 wires.
4. Connect the male plug to the pendant wires as follows:
Pendant black to plug brown•
Pendant white to plug white•
Pendant green to plug green•
Pendant red to plug yellow•
5. Connect female plug to the pump wires as follows:
Pump black to plug brown•
Pump white to plug white•
Pump green to plug green•
Pump red to plug yellow•

6. Layout receiver and drill (1) 7/8” diameter hole and (2) 1/4” diameter holes per picture.
9. Crimp spade terminal unto black receiver
wire.
10. Attach black wire from receiver to the
same screw as the purple wire on relay.
13. Plug battery to pump. Test unit function
for forward and reverse.
12. For pendant operation, plug male plug
from pendant into female plug of pump.
8. Wire receiver to male plug as follows:
Receiver brown to plug white•
Receiver white to plug green•
Receiver green to plug yellow•
Receiver red to plug brown•
Receiver black to purple on relay•
Twist wires and install wire nuts.
7.Strip3/4”ofinsulationotheendsofall
the receiver wires and the remaining male
plug.
11. Zip tie all wires neatly to avoid strain.

14. For wireless operation, unplug pendant
and plug male plug from receiver into
female plug of pump.
Note: If wireless does not work, proceed to
programming,
To synchronize a new transmitter and receiver together, use
the following procedure.
Remove receiver cover and apply power to the receiver by1.
plugging in 12v main battery.
Remove jumper from storage pin and place over both pins2.
for a couple of seconds, both green and red lights will toggle
inside the receiver. Place jumper back on storage pin.
To get transmitter into teach id mode press and hold the3.
POWER button, button 1 and button 5. At this point, both
lights will blink on the transmitter.
Instructions for Programming the Wireless Remote
Release the POWER button4.
and wait for 1 second or
until the green and red lights
stop toggling in the receiver.
Release the other buttons.
Teach complete.5.

Programming the transmitter to operate the tilt functions.
Turn transmitter on by pressing and holding the POWER1.
button for a couple of seconds.

Test unit function for forward and reverse operation.
Press POWER button on transmitter.1.
POUR button will now operate the forward tilt function.2.
RETURN will now operate the reverse tilt function3.
