set. Use of non-compatible system may damage or result in unsatisfactory
performance.
Note to Parents:
• This product is recommended for children over fourteen years of age. Adult
supervision is required for younger children. Please examine the product for
potential hazards. Any damaged parts must be repaired or replaced immediately.

Power
There are 3 different setting for power:
1. OFF
2. ON with Sound
3. ON with No Sound
The Switch for these settings is located on the left lower
side of the train.
NOTE: To help with track alignment, there is a momentary
delay after train is turned on and when the locomotive starts
to move.
Smoke
Smoke is optional, it can be turned ON or OFF using the switch
located on the right lower side of the train.
Issue: Train doesn’t run. Issue: No Smoke.
Issue: No Sound.
Issue: Train stops.
Issue: Train derails.
Issue: Cars do not stay coupled.

Please ensure you have inserted the batteries
in the correct arrangement.
Please check the smoke switch on the right
lower side of the train.
There are three settings on the power switch
located on the left lower side of the train.
They are OFF, ON, and ON with sound. Please
place the switch on the correct setting.
Please replace the batteries.
Please check the section of the track where
derailment occurred. Ensure all tracks are
properly installed and connected. Refer to
track assembly for instructions.
Please check the couplers, clean as needed.
Please check the power switch on the left
lower side of the train.

Obtain mineral oil from local hobby store or by
contacting MOTA® Support.
List Of Parts:
Please check the list of contents to ensure you have all the parts before starting assembly.
Tracks
• Choose a firm and flat surface for assembly such as a tabletop, floor, or carpet.
• It is recommended to place the tracks loosely on the flat surface to ensure there is enough space for complete assembly.
• When assembling the track, snap it together tightly while making sure the rail and rail connectors are aligned properly.
• NOTE: Improper assembly will result in derailment of the train.
• It is best to assemble the tracks where it will be ultimately displayed and used. If assembled tracks must be moved, please
ensure tracks do not bend.
• After track is assembled, please check all connectors to make sure tracks are flush and level. Ensure there are no bumps or
distortions. Run your finger on the track rails to ensure proper setup.
• If there are any issues, please carefully check the rail connectors.
Carts
You may place additional carts by coupling them one by one using the hook at the end of each cart.
• This is a battery-powered train set that runs on 4 AA batteries. The battery compartment is located on the underside
of the locomotive and can be opened with a screwdriver.
• Place the batteries in the compartment and ensure they are placed in the correct arrangement.
Remove battery cover
