These instructions detail the safe use, assembly and maintenance of
your product. Please read these instructions carefully and ensure that
they are followed at all times.
WARNING
• USE ONLY THE MATTRESS SUPPLIED BY THE
MANUFACTURER, INCORRECT MATTRESSES CAN CAUSE
DEATH.
• USE ONLY ACCESSORIES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE
SUPPLIER.
• ENSURE THE TOP RAILS AND BASE ARE FULLY LOCKED.
• DO NOT USE THIS COT IF ANY PART OF THE COT IS
BROKEN, TORN OR MISSING.
• DO NOT ADD AN EXTRA MATTRESS AS THIS MAY CAUSE
SUFFOCATION.
• BEFORE EACH USE, ENSURE THAT THE COT IS CORRECTLY
ASSEMBLED AND THAT THE LOCKING DEVICES ARE FULLY
ENGAGED.
COT USE:
• THE BASSINET SHOULD BE REMOVED BEFORE THE CHILD
CAN SIT UP.
• NEVER PLACE A CHILD IN THE COT WHEN THIS BASSIENT IS
IN PLACE.
• USE ONLY THE MATTRESS SUPPLIED BY THE
MANUFACTURER.

BASSINET USE:

FOR SAFE USE:
• To reduce the risks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS),
paediatricians recommend healthy infants to be placed on their backs
to sleep – unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• IMPORTANT: Mattress is included and is designed specifically for
this cot.
• Never use an extra mattress as this may cause a child to become
trapped in the gap between the extra mattress, and the side of the
folding cot, and suffocate.
• Before use, ensure that the folding cot has been assembled correctly
in accordance with instructions and that all top rail locks are securely
engaged.
• Keep children away while assembling or disassembling the cot.
• Never allow young children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the
folding cot.
• Do not leave anything in the folding cot (such as toys) that provide a
foothold to enable the child to climb out.
• Do not use the folding cot near naked heat sources, bar heaters,
open fires or exposed flames.
• Keep the folding cot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.
• Keep medication and small items that a child could choke on away
from
the cot.
• Discontinue the use of the cot if the material cover of the padded rim
has been bitten through or torn.
• Do not leave the folding cot outdoors exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not place more than one child in the folding cot at the same time.
• Do not try and move the folding cot while a child is in it.
• This product is not intended for commercial use.
• To avoid danger of suffocation, keep any plastic bags away from
babies and children.

• This folding cot (017915) has been approved for use with the
bassinet (017915-BN)
• Weight limit:
Portacot: Suitable for 1 child up to 13kg in weight, or 85cm in height.
Bassinet: Suitable for 1 child up to 8kg.
FALL HAZARD:
• To prevent falls, DO NOT use the folding cot once the infant has
reached the manufacturer’s maximum weight of 13kg or a height of
85cm tall.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Infants can suffocate:
• In gaps between an extra pad or mattress.
• In soft bedding.
NEVER leave your child unattended.

getting started:
• Remove the portacot from the
carry bag (Figure 1a).
• Unfold the mattress and
bassinet (Figure 1b), remove
the portacot, and set the
mattresses aside (Figure 1c).

until portacot resembles Figure 3b.

To easily access the base slits after the
mattress has been inserted, turn the
portacot on its side and pull the mattress
tabs through from the outside.

• Place the mattress into the portacot
with its padded side on top (Figure 4a).
Press down rmly to ensure a snug t.
• Secure each end of the mattress to
the portacot by threading the velcro
tabs on the mattress through the
corresponding slits in the portacot
base (Figure 4b), and securing on
the under side (Figure 4c).

step 5: assemble bassinet
• Remove and unfold bassinet from the
travel bag.
• Start by connecting the support legs
of the bassinet (Figure 5a). Ensure
both legs are pushed in securely and
resemble (Figure 5b).

step 6: assemble bassinet mattress
• Lower the bassinet into the portacot.
Ensure the mattress velcro fasteners are
attached underneath the bassinet before
the bassinet is inserted.
• Fit the bassinet clips over the edge of
the portacot, as shown in gure 5c.
Push down rmly on the clips so they are
secure. Ensure all 8 clips are tted to all
sides of the bassinet.
• Ensure velcro is fastened on all 4 corners
to secure bassinet.

steps in from 5a, in reverse order.

• Undo the velcro tabs (Figure 6a)
and remove the mattress before
folding (Figure 6b).
• After the mattress is removed,
turn the portacot upside down,
and press in metal pins on both
sides of each leg to fold down
(Figure 6c).
• Repeat this step for all 4 legs
(Figure 6d).
• Fold portacot in half (Figure 6e).

• Fold up the trim at the corners to reveal
the zips at the top of the mesh portion
on each wall, below the velcro tabs.
• Undo the velcro tabs and unzip to full
length of the portacot wall (Figure 6a),
and simply pull trim away from frame
(Figure 6b).
• Ensure velcro is reattached over the
zips when trim is placed back on
portacot frame.
• Remove the four rubber foot tabs from each
foot. This will allow the legs to slide off the
corners of the cot for cleaning purposes.

• Always store portacot indoors in a clean and dry place.
• Check regularly for loose, damaged or broken parts, these should be tightened
if loose and replaced if damaged or broken.
• Removable covers may be hand washed or spot cleaned. Wash separately.
• Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Dry in the shade thoroughly
before storage or use and avoid direct heath and exposure to sunlight.
