Thanks for choosing the pedometer Motus Paso/Paso
FM with travelled distance and burned calories data,
stopwatch function, daily alarm and time mode.
Paso FM features radio mode with autoscan function.
This pedometer can be used during walking or running
activity. To get the most out of your pedometer read
this manual carefully and keep it on hand for later
reference.

BUTTONS
Press MODE/UP button to scroll through modes:
Time (TMR) > Alarm (ALM) > Pedometer (STEP) >
Distance > Calories (KCAL) > Stopwatch (STW)

TIME
Press MODE/UP button and reach Time mode, indicated
by TMR icon on the display.
- To adjust time settings hold SET button for a few
seconds.
- The hours digit ashes
- Press MODE/UP button to increase the digit or DOWN
to decrease it
- Press SET button to conrm and set minutes.
- Press MODE/UP button to increase the digit or DOWN
to decrease it.
- Press SET to conrm and exit setting mode.
- Press DOWN button to choose 12 or 24 hour
format.
- 12 hour format is indicated by the “PM” icon on the
display.
ALARM
Press MODE/UP button and reach Alarm mode,
indicated by ALM icon on the display.
- To adjust alarm settings hold SET button for a few
seconds.
- The hours digit ashes.
- Press MODE/UP button to increase the digit or DOWN
to decrease it
- Press SET button to conrm and set minutes.
- Press MODE/UP button to increase the digit or DOWN
to decrease it.

- Press SET to conrm.
- Hour and minutes digits ash. Press MODE/UP or
DOWN button to activate/deactivate the alarm.
- When the alarm is activated the display show the
icon .
- Press SET to conrm and exit setting mode.
- The alarm will beep for some seconds; press one of
the buttons to stop it.
- Press DOWN button to choose 12 or 24 hour
format.
- 12 hour format is indicated by the “PM” icon on the
display.
PEDOMETER
Press MODE/UP button and reach Pedometer mode,
indicated by STEP icon on the display.
This mode shows the number of steps counted.
To reset the number of steps press CLEAR button.
This operation will set to zero burned calories and
travelled distance data too.

MEASUREMENT UNIT
In Pedometer mode it is possible to choose in which
measurement unit to view the data of distance, stride
length and weight: Km/Cm/Kg (KM icon) or Miles/Inch/
Lb (MILE icon).
- Hold SET button for a few seconds.
- Choose the measurement unit KM or MILE by
pressing MODE/UP or DOWN button.
- Press SET to conrm.
DISTANCE
Press MODE/UP button and reach Distance mode,
indicated by KM or MILE icon on the display.
This mode shows the measurement of travelled
distance.
Press DOWN button to choose Km or Miles unit to
display data.
To reset the distance measurement refer to
“Pedometer” paragraph.

STRIDE SETTING
In Distance mode it is possible to set stride length for
an accurate measurement.
- Hold SET button for some seconds.
- The display shows the STRIDE icon and the ashing
stride length digit.
- Press MODE/UP button to increase the digit or DOWN
do decrease it.
- Press SET button to conrm and exit stride setting
mode.
STRIDE LENGTh MEASUREMENT
The easiest way to measure the correct average stride
is to walk 10 steps, measure the walked distance
and divide it by 10. In order to measure the stride for
running activity, consider a higher number of steps
(e.g. 50).
CALORIES
Press MODE/UP button and reach Calories mode,
indicated by KCAL icon on the display. In this mode
it is possible to set the weight for an accurate
measurement.
- Hold SET button for some seconds.
- The display shows the WT icon and the ashing
weight digit.
- Press MODE/UP button to increase the digit or DOWN
do decrease it.
- Press SET button to conrm and exit weight setting mode.

STOPWATCh
Press MODE/UP button and reach Stopwatch mode,
indicated by STW icon on the display.
- Press DOWN button to start the stopwatch.
- Press SET button to view split time, indicated by the
SPL icon on the display.
- Press SET to return to the stopwatch.
- Press DOWN button to pause the stopwatch. Press it
again to restart it.
- Press DOWN and then SET buttons to reset the
stopwatch.
FM RADIO (Paso FM)
- Turn the radio on by inserting the earphones jack into
the socket on the back side of the pedometer.
- Press SCAN button to scroll frequencies.
- Press RESET button to reset the radio to the lowest
frequency.
- Unplug earphones to turn the radio off.

MOTION SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT
Remove the screw and the cover from the back side
of the case.
You will see a switch next to the battery.
Position the switch to the left side and then move it
gradually to the right, until you nd the sensitivity
suitable for your cadence.

hOW TO WEAR ThE PEDOMETER
- Attach the pedometer to the belt of your trousers
with the clip, positioning the display upwards.
- Keep the pedometer aligned to the side of your
trousers and perpendicular to the ground.
- Walk or run at a regular pace.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- Remove the screw and the cover from the back side
of the case.
- Remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a
new one.
- Reposition the cover and screw it on.
- Use battery type as indicated on this manual and
supplied with the device.
- Do not dispose of batteries in regular household
waste.
- Batteries have to be properly disposed of according to
current local regulations.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device.
- Protect from extreme heat or cold temperatures,
shocks and long time exposure to direct sunlight. Store
in a cool and dry place.
- Wipe clean with a lightly moistened cloth. Apply mild
soap to the area in case of stubborn stains or marks.
Do not expose your device to strong chemicals such as
gasoline, clean solvents, acetone, alcohol, as they may
damage the unit’s seal, case and nish.
- Avoid direct contact with hairstyling products, insect
repellents, colognes, sunscreen lotions and other
toiletries which can deteriorate the plastic parts. In
case, wipe the device off with a dry and soft cloth
immediately.
- Avoid contact with water and do not handle the
device with wet hands.
- Do not press buttons and keys in case of contact with
water.
- The operating environment of the device must be
free from shocks, magnetic elds, electrical noise and
strong vibrations.
- The device and its components have to be properly
disposed of according to current local regulations.

WARRANTY
- The warranty applies for 24 months from purchase
date and is limited to material and processing faults
only.
- The warranty applies only if the product and the
accessories have been handled carefully and according
to instruction.
- The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse
or non-compliance with care and maintenance
indications.
- Batteries are not covered by the warranty.
- In case of any warranty claim, please refer to your
dealer or send the product, accessories and dated
purchase bill to your country Distributor.
- Before sending the device, read the user manual
carefully and check the battery charge.
- In case of valid warranty claim, the repaired device or
a replacement device will be returned free of charge.
- For out-of-warranty assistance, refer to your dealer or
send the device to your country Distributor.
