• Your app iance is equipped with a strap * (27), which a ows you to carry it on your shou der.
- To un ock the strap, remove the covers on either side of the hand e by giving them a quarter turn in the direction op-
posite to the arrow – fig. 5a.
- To rep ace it, do the reverse: rep ace the covers on either side of the hand e by giving them a quarter turn in the direc-
tion of the arrow – fig. 5b, unti they c ick, and then p ace the shou der strap in its storage housing (7b).

CONNECTING THE CORD AND STARTING THE APPLIANCE
• Unwind the power cord comp ete y, p ug your vacuum c eaner in – fig. 6 and press the On/Off peda (2) – fig. 7.
• Set the suction power:
- using the e ectronic power regu ator* (3): turn the switch on the e ectronic regu ator* to set the suction power: towards
maximum position for f oors and minimum position for furniture and fragi e
fabrics – fig. 8.
- with the mechanica power regu ator on the grip: open the s ider on the grip to manua y reduce suction power, e.g.:
on fragi e surfaces… – fig. 9.
STORING AND TRANSPORTING THE APPLIANCE
• After use, stop your vacuum c eaner by pressing the On/Off peda (2) and unp ug it – fig. 10. Wind the power cord by
pressing the cord winder peda (4) – fig. 11.
• Upright, p ace the too attachment (22) in its housing under the app iance (1b) – fig. 12.
• Horizonta , p ace the too attachment (22) in its housing at the back of the app iance (1a) – fig. 13.
• Carry your vacuum c eaner easi y thanks to its carry hand es (7a or 7b) or its shou der strap* (27).
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Important: A ways stop and unp ug your vacuum c eaner before maintenance or c eaning.
CHANGING BAG
• The bag fu ight (5) indicates that the bag is fu or saturated. If you notice that your app iance is becoming ess effi-
cient, set it to maximum power and ho d the nozz e up above the ground. If the ight stays red, rep ace the bag.
• Remove the f exib e hose (18) from the suction opening (10) – fig. 2
• Open the id (9) of your vacuum c eaner – fig. 14.
a) If your vacuum cleaner is equipped with a paper bag* (17a) or a Wonderbag Compact* (17c) :
• Remove the bag support (15) from the bag compartment (8) - Fig. 15a, then remove the paper bag* (17a) or the
Wonderbag Compact* (17c) from its support by s iding it a ong the runners (16) - Fig. 15b.
• Dispose of the paper bag* or the Wonderbag Compact* in a dustbin – Fig. 15c
• Position a new paper bag* or a new Wonderbag Compact* on the support - Fig. 15d.

• Check that the bag is correct y p aced before c osing the cover (9).
b) If your vacuum is fitted with a textile bag* (17b):
• Remove the bag support (15) from the bag compartment (8) – fig. 16a, then remove the texti e bag (17b) from its
support (15) by s iding it a ong its runners (16) – fig. 16b.
• Open the bag with the zip – fig. 16c, then empty it over a dustbin – fig. 16d.
• C ean the bag under running water – fig. 16e.
• A ow to dry for at east 24 hours (on y put the bag back into position when it is comp ete y dry) – fig. 16f.
• Ensure that the zip is proper y c osed – fig. 16g before putting it back in position.
CHANGE THE MICROFILTER* (ref: MT0005 01) OR THE HEPA FILTER CASSETTE* (ref: MT0007 01)
