IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed :
• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or
appliance in water or other liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
• Unplug from mains when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to an authorized Moulinex Service Centre for examination,
repair or adjustment (see enclosed list).
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold by
Moulinex may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or work surface, or
touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near an external heat source, such as a hot gas or
electric hob or in a heated oven.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing
hot oil or other hot liquids.
• To disconnect remove plug from mains socket.
• Do not use the appliance for any use other than that which it is
intended.

CAUTION

SPECIAL CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
B. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
C. If an extension cord is used, (1) the marked electrical rating of the

extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of
the appliance, (2) the cord should be arranged so that it will not
drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintentionally.
D. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit
into a polarized socket only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into
the socket, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

Safety Recommendations
-Keep appliance out of reach of children.
-This product has been designed for do-
mestic use only. Any commercial use, inap-
propriate use or failure to comply with the
instructions, the manufacturer accepts no
responsibility and the guarantee will not
apply.
- Always check that the voltage indicated on
the identification panel matches that of your
electrical installation.
Any error in connecting the appliance inva-
lidates the guarantee.
- It is essential that your appliance is connect-
ed using an earthed plug complying with
British standards. If an extension lead is re-
quired, it must be earthed and at least 10
amps rating.
APPLIANCES WITH FITTED PLUG
Important: For your convenience this applian-
ce is supplied complete with a plug incorpora-
ting a 13 amp fuse.
In the event of replacing a fuse in the plug sup-
plied, a 13 amp fuse approved by ASTA to
BS1362 must be used.
If the socket outlets are not of the 13A BS
1363 type, and therefore do not accept the
plug connected to this appliance, cut off the
plug.
When cut off, this plug is a shock hazard if
inserted into a socket outlet and must there-
fore be disposed of safely.
If the fuse cover is detachable, never use the
plug with the cover omitted. Replacement co-
vers can be obtained from your service agent.
Fit the appropriate plug according to the ins-
tructions in paragraph “Fitting a plug”. With al-
ternative plugs a 15 amp fuse must be fitted
either in the plug or adaptor or at the main fuse
box.
APPLIANCES WITHOUT FITTED PLUG
FITTING A PLUG – IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
GREEN & YELLOW : EARTH
BLUE : NEUTRAL
BROWN : LIVE
As the colours in the mains lead of this ap-
pliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
- The wire which is coloured GREEN & YEL-
LOW must be connected to the terminal in
the plug which is marked with the letter ‘E’ or
by the earth symbol or coloured green or
green and yellow.
- The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter ‘N’ or coloured black.
- The wire which is coloured BROWN must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter ‘L’ or coloured red.
This appliance complies with current safety
regulations and requirements as well as direc-
tives:
- 89/336/CEE modified by 93/68/CEE
- 73/23/CEE modified by 93/68/CEE

-With the deep filled sandwich plates (H) or
the toasted sandwich plates (I), butter the
outer surface of the slices of bread.
Once the appliance reaches the right tempe-
rature, the green light (E) comes on. Then
place the slices of bread on the lower plate.
With a spoon, lightly push down on each
slice to form a slight recess into which you
can add the sandwich filling.
Cover the filling with the second slice of
bread, then close the appliance slightly, until
you can close the lock.
-With waffle plates (J), lightly oil the hotpla-
tes.
Once the green light (E) comes on, pour the
waffle batter slowly making sure to cover the
lower plate but without spilling over.
Bring the top part down. The back hinge will
have a little extra give, to provide extra space
for the waffle batter to rise.
Use of the timer (C)
(according to model)
- The timer enables you to monitor the cooking
time.
To set the timer:
- Press the button situated on the right side of
the screen (either several short presses or
hold down the button) to set the time.
Note: in case of an error, continue pressing
the button. The timer comes automatically
back to 0 after the figure 9.
- Release the button. After 5 seconds, a black
dot flashes at the right of the set figure and
the time deduction starts.
To delete the setting of the timer:
- To stop the timer during the time deduction,
hold the button situated on the right side of
the screen down for 2 seconds: the timer is
automatically reset to zero and the light goes
out after about 1 minute.
To stop the warning signal:
- When the cooking time is finished, the timer
gives a warning signal and stops automati-
cally after 20 rings.
- To stop the warning signal manually, press on
the button situated on the right side of the
screen. The timer light goes out after about 1
minute.
- Warning: the timer indicates the end of cook-
ing but does not turn the appliance off.
- Never let the mains lead touch the hot surfa-
ces of the appliance, or any heating source.
Before each use, check the lead is not
damaged, and never let it hang within reach
of children.
Important: If the mains lead or the plug are
damaged, do not use your appliance. In order
to avoid any accident, they must be replaced
by an approved Moulinex Centre (see list in the
leaflet “Moulinex Service”).
- Position the appliance on a flat, heat resist-
ant surface.
- Do not leave or use the appliance in a damp
area.
- Always disconnect after each use and wait
for the appliance to cool down before handl-
ing. Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Do not touch the non-stick hotplates when in
use.
- Only Moulinex non-stick hot-plates should
be used.
- If the appliance is damaged, or it will not
work, consult a Moulinex approved service
centre. (See list in Moulinex Service booklet).
Changing of the plates
- Unplug the appliance.
- Check the appliance is cool.
- Open the appliance.
- To remove the plates: press the button (G) to
unlock the cooking plate and remove the
plate lifting it at an angle.
- To put the plates back in position: put the
plate at an angle on the appliance, into the
two notches situated opposite the button
(G), then press on the plate until it is locked.
Before using your appliance
for the first time
- After lightly oiling the hot-plates, close the
appliance and plug it in. The red light (D)
comes on.
- Leave for a few minutes to allow the “new
smell” to disappear.
- Once the appliance reaches the right tempe-
rature, the green light (E) comes on.
Using the appliance
- Plug the appliance in. The red light (D)
comes on.

To change the battery:
- Note: if there is a partial or total loss of the
display, the battery must be changed.
- To remove the battery from the timer, un-
screw the round part situated under the timer
(L).
-
To respect the environment dispose of the
battery at your nearest waste disposal centre.
Practical Hints
With toast or toasted sandwiches, the cook-
ing time is around 4 to 6 minutes, and varies
according to the moisture content of the bread
or the type of filling involved.
With waffles, the cooking time is around 4 to
8 minutes and varies depending on the batter
mixture.
In all cases it is recommended to adapt cook-
ing according to your own taste. Quantities
and cooking times given are indications only.
- When cooking is complete, remove the sand-
wich or waffle using a wooden spatula.
- Avoid the use of metallic or sharp utensils, as
they will damage the non-stick coating of the
hotplates.
• Waffle batter recipe
500 g flour,
2 to 3 pinches of salt,
6 eggs,
150 g butter,
3/4 litre milk (or less according to taste),
50 g granulated sugar.
- Whip the egg-whites until white and fluffy.
Mix the flour, butter, egg-yolks, milk and
sugar. Add the salt and egg-whites. Your bat-
ter is ready.
Cleaning
- Always disconnect the appliance before
cleaning, and leave to cool for around 30 mi-
nutes.
- Do not place the appliance in water or under
running water.
- To clean the external surfaces, use a damp
cloth and dry carefully.
- To clean the fixed hotplates (according to
model), use a damp cloth, maybe with some
washing-up liquid, then rinse with a wet
sponge and dry carefully.
- To clean removable hotplates (according to
model), unclip them and wash in hot water
and washing-up liquid. Leave to dry and wipe
carefully before replacing.
- Never use scouring pads or scouring powder.
Storage
The appliance can be stored vertically to save
space.

• Ne plongez pas l’appareil dans l’eau.
• Afin de réduire tout risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique, ne
démontez pas l’appareil. Aucune pièce n’est réparable par le
consommateur. Toute réparation doit être effectuée par un centre de
service agréé Moulinex.
INSTRUCTIONS SPECIALES POUR LE CORDON
A. Le cordon d’alimentation court fourni avec l’appareil permet de
réduire le risque de trébucher sur un cordon long ou de l’emmêler.
B. Des rallonges sont disponibles et vous pouvez les utiliser, à condition
de faire preuve de prudence.
C. Si vous utilisez une rallonge : (1) la puissance nominale qui est
indiquée doit être au moins égale à la puissance nominale de
l’appareil ; (2) si l’appareil est mis à la terre, la rallonge doit être à 3
fils dont un de terre, et (3) le cordon ne doit pas pendre du comptoir
ni de la table, car des enfants pourraient le tirer et trébucher
accidentellement.
D. Cet appareil est doté d’une fiche polarisée (une lame est plus large
que l’autre). Par mesure de sécurité, cette fiche ne peut se brancher
que d’une seule façon. S’il vous est impossible de l’insérer dans la
prise, inversez-la. Si c’est toujours impossible, faites appel à un
électricien qualifié. N’essayez pas de modifier ce dispositif de
sécurité.

- Ne laissez pas et n’utilisez pas l’appareil
dans un lieu humide.
- Débranchez-le dès la fin d’utilisation, laissez-
le refroidir avant toute manipulation et ne le
plongez jamais dans l’eau.
- Lorsque l’appareil fonctionne, ne touchez
pas les plaques anti-adhérentes.
- N’utilisez que les plaques anti-adhérentes
Moulinex.
- Si l’appareil est détérioré ou s’il ne fonctionne
pas, débranchez-le et adressez-vous à un
centre service agréé Moulinex (voir liste dans
le livret “Moulinex Service”).
Changement des plaques
- Débrancher le cordon électrique.
- Vérifier que l’appareil est froid.
- Ouvrir l’appareil.
- Pour enlever les plaques : appuyer sur le
bouton de déverrouillage (G) pour libérer la
plaque de cuisson et la retirer en la soulevant
de biais.
- Pour remettre les plaques : poser la plaque
de biais sur l’appareil en venant en butée
dans les 2 ergots fixes opposés au bouton
de déverrouillage (G), puis appuyer sur la
plaque jusqu’à son verrouillage.
Avant une première
utilisation
- Après avoir légèrement huilé les plaques de
cuisson, fermez l’appareil, puis branchez-le.
Le voyant rouge (D) s’allume.
- Laissez chauffer quelques minutes pour
éliminer l’odeur de neuf.
- Lorsque l’appareil atteint la bonne température,
le voyant vert (E) s’allume.
Mise en service
- Branchez l’appareil. Le voyant rouge (D)
s’allume.
-Pour les plaques à toasts (H) ou à croque-
monsieur (I), si vous souhaitez un aspect
doré, beurrez les tranches de pain sur le côté
extérieur.
Lorsque l’appareil atteint la bonne température,
le voyant vert (E) s’allume. Placez alors les
tranches de pain sur la plaque inférieure.
En vous servant d’une cuillère, exercez une
légère pression sur chaque tranche afin de

Conseils de sécurité
-Placez toujours l’appareil hors de portée
des enfants.
-Votre appareil à usage domestique est
exclusivement destiné à la cuisson des
aliments.
- Vérifiez que la tension de votre appareil
corresponde à celle de votre installation
électrique.
Toute erreur de branchement annule la
garantie.
- Assurez-vous que le nombre d’Ampères
indiqués sur le compteur électrique et sur le
disjoncteur est d’au moins 10 Ampères.
- Vous devez impérativement brancher votre
appareil sur une prise de courant avec terre.
Si une rallonge est nécessaire, elle doit être
équipée d'une prise de terre.
- Le cordon d’alimentation ne doit jamais être
à proximité ou en contact avec les parties
chaudes de votre appareil ou près d’une
source de chaleur.
Assurez-vous, avant chaque utilisation, qu’il
n’est pas endommagé et ne le laissez pas
pendre à portée des enfants.
Important : Si le câble d’alimentation ou la
fiche sont endommagés, n’utilisez pas votre
appareil. Afin d’éviter tout danger, faites-les
obligatoirement remplacer par un centre
service agréé Moulinex (voir liste dans le livret
“Moulinex Service”).
- Disposez l’appareil sur un plan stable et
horizontal, résistant à la température.

former les cavités dans lesquelles vous pourrez
mettre la garniture du sandwich.
Couvrez l’ensemble avec la seconde tranche
de pain, puis fermez l’appareil en pressant
légèrement jusqu’à bloquer le verrou.
-Pour les plaques à gaufres (J), huilez
légèrement les plaques.
Lorsque le voyant vert (E) s’allume, versez
délicatement la pâte à gaufres de manière à
recouvrir la plaque inférieure en prenant
garde de ne pas déborder.
Rabattez la partie supérieure. La charnière
arrière présente un léger jeu pour permettre à
la pâte de gonfler.
Utilisation du minuteur (C)
(selon modèle)
- Le minuteur vous permet de surveiller le
temps de cuisson.
Pour programmer le minuteur :
- Appuyer sur le bouton situé à droite de
l’afficheur (soit par plusieurs appuis brefs,
soit par un seul appui prolongé) pour régler le
temps.
Remarque : en cas d’erreur, continuer à
appuyer sur le bouton. Le minuteur revient
automatiquement à 0 après le chiffre 9.
- Relâcher le bouton. Après 5 secondes, un
point noir clignote à droite du chiffre
programmé et le décompte commence.
Pour annuler la programmation du minuteur :
- Pour arrêter le minuteur en cours de décompte,
maintenir appuyé le bouton situé à droite de
l’afficheur pendant 2 secondes : le minuteur
est remis automatiquement à zéro et s’éteint
après environ 1 minute.
Pour arrêter la sonnerie :
- Lorsque le temps de cuisson est écoulé, la
sonnerie du minuteur retentit et s’arrête
automatiquement après 20 sonneries.
- Pour arrêter manuellement la sonnerie,
appuyer sur le bouton situé à droite de
l’afficheur. Le minuteur s’éteint après environ
1 minute.
- Attention : le minuteur signale la fin du temps
de cuisson, mais n’arrête pas l’appareil.
Pour changer la pile :
- Remarque : s’il y a perte partielle ou totale de
l’affichage, la pile doit être changée.
- Pour enlever la pile du minuteur, dévisser la
partie ronde située sous le minuteur (L).
- Pour le respect de l’environnement, ne jetez
pas votre pile, mais rapportez-la chez votre
distributeur, votre grossiste ou votre détaillant.
Conseils pratiques
Pour les toasts ou croque-monsieur, le
temps de cuisson est d’environ 4 à 6 minutes
et varie en fonction de l’humidité du pain et du
type de garniture.
Pour les gaufres, le temps de cuisson est
d’environ 4 à 8 minutes et varie en fonction de
la composition de la pâte.
Dans tous les cas, il est donc conseillé de
contrôler le degré de cuisson en fonction de
votre propre goût. Les quantités et les temps
sont donnés à titre indicatif.
- La cuisson terminée, retirez le sandwich ou la
gaufre avec une spatule en bois.
- Evitez l’emploi d’ustensiles métalliques et
coupants, car ils pourraient endommager le
revêtement des plaques.
• Recette pâte à gaufres :
500 g de farine,
2 à 3 pincées de sel,
6 œufs,
150 g de beurre,
3/4 l de lait (ou moins suivant goût),
50 g de sucre en poudre.
- Montez les blancs d’œufs en neige. Mélangez
la farine, le beurre, les jaunes d’œufs, le lait
et le sucre. Ajoutez le sel et les blancs d’œufs
en neige. Votre pâte est prête.
Nettoyage
- Avant tout nettoyage, débranchez le cordon
d’alimentation et laisser refroidir l’appareil
pendant 30 min environ.
- Ne mettez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau ou
sous l’eau courante.
-Pour nettoyer les parois thermo-isolantes,
utilisez un chiffon humide et séchez soigneu-
sement.
-Pour nettoyer les plaques non amovibles
(selon modèle), utilisez un chiffon humide,
avec éventuellement un peu de produit pour
laver la vaisselle, puis rincez avec une éponge
imbibée d’un peu d’eau et séchez soigneu-
sement.

-Pour nettoyer les plaques amovibles (selon
modèle), déclipsez-les et lavez-les à l’eau
chaude additionnée de produit à vaisselle.
Laissez-les sécher et essuyez-les bien avant
de les replacer dans l’appareil.
- N’utilisez jamais de tampon abrasif, ni de
poudre à récurer.
Rangement
L’appareil peut se ranger verticalement pour
gagner de la place.

fonctionne pas, que faire ?
- Vérifiez tout d’abord le branchement de votre
appareil à la prise électrique.
Votre appareil ne fonctionne toujours pas ?

-Ihr Gerät ist nur für den haushaltsmäßigen
Gebrauch und die Zubereitung von Le-
bensmitteln bestimmt.
- Überprüfen Sie, dass die Anschlussspan-
nung Ihres Gerätes mit der Spannung Ihres
Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.
Bei falschem Anschluss erlischt die Garantie.
- Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die auf dem
Stromzähler und der Sicherung angegebene
Amperezahl mindestens 10 Ampere beträgt.
- Das Gerät muß unbedingt an eine geerdete
Steckdose angeschlossen werden. Ist eine
Verlängerungsschnur erforderlich, muss die-
se ebenfalls geerdet sein.
- Das Netzkabel darf niemals in die Nähe oder
in Kontakt mit den heißen Flächen Ihres Ge-
rätes oder einer Wärmequelle kommen. Ver-
gewissern Sie sich vor jedem Gebrauch,
dass es nicht beschädigt ist und lassen Sie
es nicht in der Reichweite von Kindern hän-
gen.
Wichtig: Wenn das Netzkabel oder der Ste-
cker beschädigt sind, benutzen Sie Ihr Gerät
nicht. Um jede Gefährdung zu vermeiden,
müssen Sie diese durch einen Moulinex-Kun-
dendienst (siehe Liste im Moulinex-Service-
heft) ersetzen lassen.
- Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, waa-
gerechte und temperaturbeständige Fläche.
- Gebrauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer
feuchten Umgebung.
- Ziehen Sie nach dem Gebrauch den Netz-
stecker. Lassen Sie das Gerät vor jedem wei-
teren Gebrauch abkühlen und tauchen Sie es
niemals in Wasser.
- Berühren Sie die antihaftbeschichteten Plat-
ten nicht, wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
- Benutzen Sie nur antihaftbeschichtete Plat-
ten von Moulinex.
- Wenn das Gerät beschädigt ist oder nicht
funktioniert, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und
wenden Sie sich an einen Moulinex-Kunden-
dienst (siehe Liste im Moulinex-Serviceheft).
Wechseln der Platten
- Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
- Überprüfen Sie, ob das Gerät kalt ist.
- Öffnen Sie das Gerät.
- Um die Platten zu entfernen: drücken Sie auf
den Entriegelungsknopf (G) um die Platte zu
lösen und entfernen Sie sie, indem Sie sie
schräg anheben.
- Um die Platten einzusetzen: setzen Sie die
Platte schräg in die 2 Arretierstifte gegenüber
dem Entriegelungsknopf (G) ein und drücken
Sie dann auf die Platte bis sie einrastet.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
- Nachdem Sie die Platten leicht eingefettet
haben, schließen Sie das Gerät und stecken
Sie den Netzstecker ein. Die rote Kontroll-
leuchte (D) leuchtet auf.
- Lassen Sie das Gerät einige Minuten aufhei-
zen, damit sich der Neugeruch verflüchtigt.
- Wenn das Gerät die richtige Temperatur er-
reicht hat, leuchtet die grüne Kontrollleuchte
(E) auf.
Gebrauch
- Stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein. Die rote
Kontrollleuchte (D) leuchtet auf.
-Toast-(H) oder Sandwichplatten (I) : wün-
schen Sie ein gutgebräuntes Äußeres, dann
bestreichen Sie die Außenseite der Brot-
scheiben mit Butter.
Sobald das Gerät die richtige Temperatur
erreicht hat, leuchtet die grüne Kontrollleuch-
te (E) auf. Legen Sie dann die Brotscheiben
auf die untere Platte.
Drücken Sie mit einem Löffel leicht auf jede
Scheibe, damit eine Vertiefung entsteht, in

die Sie den Belag für das Sandwich legen
können.
Legen Sie die zweite Brotscheibe darauf und
schließen Sie dann unter leichtem Druck das
Gerät bis die Verriegelung einrastet.
- Waffelplatten (J) : fetten Sie die Platten
leicht ein.
Sobald die grüne Kontrollleuchte (E) auf-
leuchtet, gießen Sie den Waffelteig vorsichtig
auf die untere Platte, bis diese bedeckt ist.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Rand frei bleibt.
Schließen Sie das Gerät. Das hintere Schar-
nier bietet etwas Spielraum, damit der Teig
aufgehen kann.
Gebrauch des Timers (C)
(je nach Modell)
- Der Timer ermöglicht Ihnen eine Überwa-
chung der Zubereitungszeit.
Programmierung des Timers :
- Drücken Sie auf den Knopf rechts neben der
Anzeige (mehrmals kurz betätigen oder ein-
mal gedrückt halten) um die Zeit einzustellen.
Anmerkung : Im Falle eines Fehlers drücken
Sie weiter auf den Knopf. Der Timer kehrt
nach der Zahl 9 automatisch auf 0 zurück.
- Lassen Sie den Knopf los. Nach 5 Sekunden
blinkt ein schwarzer Punkt rechts neben der
programmierten Zahl und die Uhr läuft.
Löschen der Programmierung :
- Um den Timer zu stoppen, halten Sie den
Knopf rechts neben der Anzeige 2 Sekunden
gedrückt : der Timer wird automatisch auf 0
gestellt und schaltet sich nach ungefähr 1
Minute ab.
Abstellen des Signals :
- Wenn die Zubereitungszeit beendet ist,
ertönt das Signal des Timers und stoppt
automatisch nach 20 Signaltönen.
- Um das Signal manuell abzustellen, drücken
Sie auf den Knopf rechts neben der Anzeige.
Der Timer schaltet sich nach ungefähr 1
Minute ab.
- Achtung : der Timer signalisiert das Ende der
Zubereitungszeit, schaltet das Gerät jedoch
nicht ab.
Batteriewechsel :
- Anmerkung : fällt die Anzeige teilweise oder
vollständig aus, muss die Batterie gewech-
selt werden.
- Um die Batterie des Timers zu entfernen,
schrauben Sie den runden Teil, der sich unter
dem Timer befindet, ab (L).
- Mit Rücksicht auf die Umwelt werfen Sie Ihre
Batterie nicht weg, sondern bringen sie zu
Ihrem Fachhändler zurück oder werfen Sie
sie in die dafür vorgesehenen Sondermüll-
Container.
Praktische Hinweise
Für Toasts und Sandwiches : die Backzeit
beträgt ungefähr 4 bis 6 Minuten je nach
Feuchtigkeit des Brotes und Art des Belages.
Für Waffeln : die Backzeit beträgt ungefähr 4
bis 8 Minuten abhängig von der Zusammen-
setzung des Teiges.
In allen Fällen empfiehlt sich eine Backzeit, die
Ihrem persönlichen Geschmack entspricht.
Mengen- und Zeitangaben gelten nur als
Hinweis.
- Ist die Backzeit beendet, entnehmen Sie das
Sandwich oder die Waffel mit einem
Holzspatel.
- Vermeiden Sei den Gebrauch metallischer
oder scharfer Gegenstände, weil diese die
Antihaftbeschichtung der Platten beschädi-
gen könnten.
• Waffelteigrezept :
500 g Mehl,
2-3 Prisen Salz,
6 Eier,
150 g Butter,
3/4 l Milch (oder weniger, je nach
Geschmack),
50 g Puderzucker.
- Eiweiß steif schlagen. Mehl, Butter, Eigelb,
Milch und Zucker verrühren. Salz und steif
geschlagenes Eiweiß hinzufügen. Ihr Teig ist
fertig.
Reinigung
- Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netz-
stecker und lassen Sie das Gerät ungefähr
30 Minuten abkühlen.
- Reinigen Sie das Gerät niemals in oder unter
laufendem Wasser.
-Für die Reinigung der Außenflächen : reini-
gen Sie die Außenflächen mit einem feuchten
Tuch. Anschließend sorgfältig abtrocknen.
-Für die Reinigung nicht herausnehmbarer
Platten (je nach Modell) : benutzen Sie ein

feuchtes Tuch, eventuell mit ein wenig Ge-
schirrspülmittel, dann mit einem mit Wasser
angefeuchteten Schwamm abspülen und
sorgfältig trocknen.
-Für die Reinigung herausnehmbarer Plat-
ten (je nach Modell), nehmen Sie die Platten
heraus und waschen Sie diese in heißem
Wasser mit Geschirrspülmittel ab. Lassen Sie
die Platten trocknen und wischen Sie diese
gut ab, bevor Sie sie wieder in das Gerät set-
zen.
- Benutzen Sie niemals Scheuerschwämme
oder Scheuerpulver.
Aufbewahrung
Das Gerät kann platzsparend senkrecht aufbe-
wahrt werden.

Veiligheidstips
-Houd het apparaat altijd buiten bereik van
kinderen.
-Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor
huishoudelijk gebruik en voor de berei-
ding van voedsel.
- Controleer of de netspanning aangegeven op
uw apparaat overeenkomt met de netspan-
ning bij u thuis.
Een verkeerde aansluiting maakt de garan-
tie ongeldig.
- Controleer of op de elektriciteitsmeter en de
zekering minimaal 10 ampère staat vermeld.
- Het apparaat dient te worden aangesloten op
een stopcontact met randaarde. Indien u een
verlengsnoer gebruikt, dient dit eveneens
geaard te zijn.
- Het aansluitsnoer mag nooit in contact
komen met delen van het apparaat die warm
worden of bij een warmtebron in de buurt
zijn. Controleer voor ieder gebruik of het
aansluitsnoer niet beschadigd is en zorg er
altijd voor dat kinderen niet bij het (hangen-
de) aansluitsnoer kunnen komen.
Belangrijk: Bij beschadiging van het aan-
sluitsnoer en/of van de stekker, mag u het
apparaat niet gebruiken. Om elk risico te ver-
mijden, mogen deze uitsluitend worden ver-
vangen door een door Moulinex erkende repa-
ratieservice. Of u kunt rechtstreeks contact
opnemen met de dichtst bijzijnde service-
dienst (het adres vindt u in het “Moulinex
Service” boekje).
- Plaats het apparaat op een stevige, horizon-
tale en hittebestendige ondergrond.
- Gebruik het apparaat nooit in een vochtige
omgeving en laat het ook nooit in een voch-
tige omgeving staan.
- Haal na ieder gebruik de stekker uit het stop-
contact en laat het apparaat afkoelen.
Dompel het nooit onder in water.
- Raak de bakplaten nooit aan wanneer het
apparaat in werking is.
- Gebruik uitsluitend bakplaten met anti-aan-
baklaag van Moulinex.
- Indien het apparaat beschadigd is of indien
het niet naar behoren functioneert, schakel
het dan uit en laat het nakijken door een door
Moulinex erkend service-centrum of door de
dichtst bijzijnde servicedienst (voor adressen
zie het boekje “Moulinex Service”).
Verwisselen van de
bakplaten
- Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
- Controleer of het apparaat is afgekoeld.
- Open het apparaat.
- Verwijderen van de bakplaten: Druk op de
ontgrendelingsknop (G) om de bakplaat los
te maken en verwijder deze door hem schuin
op te lichten.
- Aanbrengen van de platen: Plaats de plaat
schuin op het apparaat waarbij u de rand zo
ver mogelijk in de twee vaste pennen steekt
tegenover de ontgrendelingsknop (G). Druk
dan op de plaat totdat deze vergrendeld zit.
In gebruik nemen van
een nieuw apparaat
- Vet anti-aanbakplaten met wat olie in, sluit
het apparaat en steek de stekker in het stop-
contact. Het controlelampje (D) gaat bran-
den.
- Laat het apparaat gedurende enkele minuten
verwarmen; zo verdwijnt de geur die kenmer-
kend is voor nieuwe apparaten.
- Zodra het apparaat de juiste temperatuur
bereikt, gaat het groene lampje (E) branden.
